Revolutionized User Access with Seamless Google Workspace Integration

  • October 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This solution has completely changed how we manage user access on our company devices. Its wide array of features enabled us to eliminate the need for AD and take full advantage of the Google Workspace integration. As a result, we no longer have to duplicate credentials, which made the overall implementation process much faster and easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although you only pay for what you use. It isn't always clear about when something you've enabled will add an additional charge to your account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to work faster and more efficiently reducing the need for duplicate work. It also allows us to provide remote support very easily to colleges and push any changes or updates remotely.

Efficient User Management, But Needs Better Reporting and Lockout Controls

  • October 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about JumpCloud is how it actually makes user and device management feel manageable. Everything’s in one place — users, groups, policies, access — and it just saves time. I’ve used other tools that felt clunky or overcomplicated, but JumpCloud strikes a good balance between control and simplicity. The integrations with Google Workspace and MDM policies work smoothly, which is great for day-to-day IT operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is that some parts of the platform still feel a bit limited once you get into the details. Reporting and visibility could be stronger, especially for tracking user activity or policy compliance. The MDM section is good but still missing a few advanced options. And the lockout policy thing is just annoying — we actually discussed it during our internal JumpCloud rollout project because it locks users out too aggressively, and even after resetting a computer, the lockout counter goes back to the original number instead of clearing properly. Changing or fine-tuning that behavior isn’t as straightforward as it should
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps us centralize user and device management across the company. Before that, we were juggling different tools for identity, MDM, and policy enforcement. Now everything — from onboarding new users to managing passwords, access, and patch policies — runs through one platform. It also helps keep compliance simpler because device status, user groups, and security policies are all visible in one place. Overall, it saves a lot of manual work and makes user lifecycle management much cleaner.

All-in-One Solution with Premium Pricing

  • October 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
New tech and offers everything under single umbrellaWhat I like best is the centralization. Being able to manage identities (SSO, MFA, RADIUS) and hardware (MDM, Patch Management) from a single cloud-native console has eliminated tool sprawl for our team. The cross-platform support for Mac and Linux is superior to traditional alternatives.
What do you dislike about the product?
pricing is on a higher level. Rest everything is good
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross OS device management from one console

Seamless Cross-Platform Compatibility Sets It Apart

  • October 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This software is compatible with all major operating systems. No matter if you're using a Mac, Windows, or Linux, it will work seamlessly on each one. Its cross-platform functionality really sets it apart from other options.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the product offers many strong features, I have encountered a significant issue. One of my systems uses disk encryption, but I am unable to find the decryption key for that specific machine. I suspect this may be a glitch, and it is quite concerning. If I ever need to remove the disk and connect it to another system, I would be prompted for the decryption key. Without access to the key in the admin console, this situation could become a major problem for IT, particularly since the disk holds important data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool enables you to manage all your systems from a single cloud platform, making it easy to organize everything based on your particular needs.

Centralized Management Made Easy, But Advanced Features Need Better Guidance

  • October 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like JumpCloud because it makes managing users, devices, and security simple and centralized in one easy-to-use platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that some advanced features in JumpCloud can be a bit complex to set up and may require more detailed documentation or support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is solving the problem of managing users, devices, and access across different systems from one place. It helps me save time, improve security with centralized control, and make user management much easier for remote and hybrid environments.

All-in-One IdP & MDM Platform, Just Missing a Security Tool

  • October 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One of its standout features is the unique approach of Identity First, which means customers don't need to invest in an additional IdP. Additionally, it provides a strong MDM solution that complements the IdP, making it easier to manage Shadow IT, Access Management, and Device Management within a single platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think its very hard to say that but if I had to pick point one limitation that would be the lack of Security tool which when combined with the current line of solutions, would make it un beatable in the market
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shadow IT and Access management because there are a lot of independent tools available in market but getting all in one is rare

Powerful Asset Management & SaaS Discovery, But Pricey

  • October 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the new features like Asset Management and SaaS discovery.
With Asset Mgmt, we can now manage everything under one single console. And with so many free AI tools, SaaS discovery is really a great tool for tracking shadow IT to prevent data leakage. Aside, it's also possible to block URLs even when employees are not in office.
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud is a great tool and really easy to use but it's on the expensive side. Would be great if price can be reduced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining onboarding and offboarding. Once user is onboard, policies and software can be automatically pushed out saving IT lots of time and process.

Seamless Multi-Device Login, But Room for Improvement

  • October 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The software allows for seamless user identification across multiple devices, making it easy to manage access. It also supports the implementation of different policies tailored to user preferences. The process for monitoring and applying software updates and patches is straightforward. Additionally, there are several options available for multifactor authentication.
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud should consider expanding its target audience to include personal home users and families, ideally offering more competitive pricing for these groups. The business features currently available should be adapted for this new user base, as it has become essential for families to manage their digital devices and equipment in today’s world. Additionally, JumpCloud could benefit from being more innovative in its AI implementation. For instance, introducing the JumpCloud Module Context Protocol (MCP) would help set their product apart from competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main issue I encountered with JumpCloud was trying to access its full range of features on Windows Home Edition. I found that some functionalities were limited or unavailable on this operating system. If Jumpcloud able to enable this features, the market penetration for Jumpcloud usage will be much wider.
