Remote access on steroids!

  • April 22, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud has provided our staff with multiple ways to authentic to their accounts, whether network logon, Google access or wireless connectivity. This has been a solid investment where all of our staff feels customized support geared toward their specific needs. Absolutely the best!
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love if they had 24/7 customer service support. Otherwise nothing to speak of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem used to be offsite network authentication: User logon accounts would expire and need to be changed on the network for it to replicate between system and local account. JumpCloud has enabled cloud based network authentication which has resolved that issue.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a shot! You wont be upset!

A great alternative to Intune

  • April 22, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to manage a variety of devices and SAAS services and enabled everyone to have one logon for work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Automatic software deployment is not always easy if the package you want is not in the chocolatey repo. Fortunately, most of ours is!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides an easy way to give people just the access they need to do their job and setting up standard software and settings for people. We are currently reimplementing and improving our jumpcloud config with all we've learned about it over the last few years.

Reliable, easy to use Cloud directory

  • April 22, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The service seems secure. It is easy to understand and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to renew my Cloud directory token.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Decentralized working and control of devices with different operating systems. It has helped us to connect the various services we use, in a central place.

good to have you Jumpcloud !!!

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is a platform that I have been using for a long time and I like it very much. Thank you for saving me from bulky products like AD. Managing all my users, systems, apps and more on one platform is invaluable.I have researched so many platforms, but I can bet that this is only the most effective and reliable place. Thanks to the new rope restriction feature, I can better protect users from external factors.
What do you dislike about the product?
remote connection feature should come to computers
Computers should be able to change domain names
Must be able to manage from a mobile application
More visuals should be positioned
The hosting option on our server should come (by region)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It could be better if the app is a mobile app.
It would be better to upload users' pictures or take them via G suite.
There should be sms sending to users over the phone
users must be able to access their computers remotely
users should support computers by sending messages directly
It must allow users to open support tickets.
needs to be integrated into other human resource applications
All the features of computers need to be further developed in linux and the number of policies needs to be increased
Recommendations to others considering the product:
you can save time. It's possible to use hundreds of steps like setting up a server like Microsoft, get security, or manage everything on a single screen without paying extra for the server.

Trading gift vouchers for reviews

  • April 22, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Although I do like Jump loud as a product, there recent marketing move where they are asking for reviews in trade of vouchers expresses concern about the validity of these reviews.
What do you dislike about the product?
To date I have not had any issues using the JumpCloud service. Customer service is great and the feature set is good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AzureAD authentication for WiFi is one of the biggest problems I can solve with JumpCloud.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try out the free services to see if they work for what you need.

Easy to use

  • April 22, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is automated, so I don't have to remember to update my password. We set a specific timeframe and Jumpcloud let's each user know when they need to update it. It's also HIPAA compliant which is perfect for users like us. It's basically a 3-step verification to get into any important accounts which is very necessary.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's difficult to get users set up and using the 2FA with Jumpcloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HIPAA compliance, 100%. It has been a lifesaver for us!

Easy to use UI and reliable endpoint management

  • April 22, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
With coding experience, Commands is fantastic - pop all your machines in one group along with commands, run it, and it works like a breeze.

The integration of VPP is also fantastic. A remote employee can be sent a machine straight from Apple, create their new mac account and start using the apps they need for their role with no touch from us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limitations include the ability to incorporate mobiles like iOS and Android. We have a large fleet, and we need to separate capabilities for this amongst MDM platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've realized we can also integrate RADIUS and WIFI requirements direct onto the machines. TOTP is another huge benefit for us.

JumpCloud is Making Their Mark

  • April 22, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The cross-platform support and the simple admin UI
What do you dislike about the product?
The SSO does not seem to be as mature yet, and there is also no ability to upload custom applications for deployment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is helping me to achieve zero trust architectural implementation at my organization.

What do you like best about the product?
Interface and Security Harding of the platform
What do you dislike about the product?
Almost nothing at all , near-perfect system to simplify the authentication burden
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wi Fi authentication was a mess due to different levels of authentication for different SSIDs, Jumpcloud Nailed it

Cloud managed directory for various OS

  • April 22, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Having a mostly Apple environment, but with some Windows devices, we needed a flexible solution for user management. Jumpcloud provides this for us. The LDAP function can integrate with a lot of different services, increasing the ease of end-user password management.
What do you dislike about the product?
The commands section editor is a bit clunky. The field for the command is very small and does not extend, This is no problem for a 1-liner, but it makes it very difficult to write a script directly in the editor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The simple to navigate cloud-based interface has been a huge help during these times when everyone suddenly started to work from home.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking to migrate away from a classic AD, or have a non-Windows environment, that's manageable from everywhere, this may be the solution you're looking for.
