Good choice for cloud only orgs
What do you like best about the product?
Support for those w/wout BYO directories
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is higher than expected as you grow
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Active Directory migration utility would have saved me a lot of time in the past. Device authentication without Active Directory would have been unrealistic without this platform.
Excellent, flexible tool

This is a great tool that's easy to get started with. They have a free period that will allow you to POC.
JumpCloud for SAML SSO
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud for SAML SSO was really straightforward, best interface I've used for integrating SAML with another application or platform

The administrators login could be a bit more distinguishable from end-user login landing page to help identify additional functionality for administrators.

JumpCloud has allowed me to be entirely cloud based while saving money.
AWS IAM role/policy for entry and Atlassian Access so my business organization has the ability to use Atlassian SIngle Sign On across their software suite with AWS role for administration purposes. Swift, secure access to my SaaS suite for In house App development

Easy Admin Interface and Great Tech Support
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud was super easy to deploy when we adopted an all-MacOS engineering team to our all-Windows workstation environment.
The Admin interface is very easy to navigate.
The Admin interface is very easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The out-of-the-box, non-customized MDM features for MacOS are excellent, but in my experience not as extensive as what is available for Windows. Tech support was very responsive. They either offered a workaround or mentioned that some new features are due to be launched later in the year. I'm hoping my feedback on what MDM features our company needs is helpful in guiding the release of new features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to quickly get 14 MacOS workstations under central control -- driven by an impending security audit. They had been set up as individual devices (before we adopted the team) so we needed to migrate them to be managed like any company / institutional device should be.
Besides those short-term goals, we want to use JumpCloud to connect our MacOS users with our Windows users through directory sync and policy-based controls.

Great alternative for those who don't want Active Directory
What do you like best about the product?
The variety of features and operating systems supported
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the MDM feature for apple supported pushing apps to DEP and apple business manager devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a simple SSO solution and the options of Radius-as-a-service along with ldap-as-a-service saves a lot of administrative overhead and simplicity in maintaining our IT infrastructure.
Interesting Tool for managing devices
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that is agent based, and it is very lightweight so it doesn't affect the performance of our VMs at all.

So far, I haven't found anything to disike about the tool. It just WORKS!!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm testing this for a customer that wants to be able to manage their devices. and so far it is very interesting and easy to work with. Still learning the tool, but so far a lot of the features are very straight forward and easy to use.
