What do you like best about the product?
There are many things that JumpCloud does which are amazing:

What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really say anything bad about JumpCloud as we've had such a good experience with them so far!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of hardware management, especially as we are a global business. It also enables us to connect it to our VPN and do so securely.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Worth talking to JumpCloud about your needs, their staff are accommodating, and their platforms provide a lot!

What do you like best about the product?
CSM and sales rep were great. Software is working as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had an issue a couple of months ago where JumpCloud and our MFA was not working together. Has been fixed since.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to implement without using AD
Flexible, scalable and easy management
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is an excellent Cloud Directory solution that keeps on growing its available features and supports. They listen to their customers, and when we submit ideas, we are 100% it will be considered. The platform enables you to have a central identity from where you can manage most if not all of your IT features and daily tasks. The SSO capability and integrations are also super great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to say what I dislike. Maybe more alternatives to SAML 2.0 for SSO.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solved loads of problems, specially related to working from home due to the pandemic, it made everything easier. the most recent problem we solved was related to 0 touch for Macbooks, since they released their own and we moved away from jamf because it's a more seamless process with Jumpcloud,
SSO for MSPs
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of transferring users from services such as Office365 and Google Apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems like the left sidebar is constantly changing - where they have the import feature, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to use the same password across the board for our clients has been time saving.
For a small business with varied platforms, JumpCloud is the easiest way to get started
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of JumpCloud is that it allows for me to set up a single username and password for each person in my business. I can add them to other machines or remove them as needed, and they never have to remember anything other than the one password for access to business resources. JumpCloud made it easy to get started, and we now have a way to both on-board and off-board employees as needed. I am looking forward to building up SSO for our Internet applications so that we can bring them under governance with a single point of control
What do you dislike about the product?
Account takeover works most of the time, but there will be exceptions. Be prepared to go through some level of effort to migrate end-users to using a new identity. Windows machines can be the most difficult. When migration a user from an individual account to a JumpCloud account, pay very close attention to the user name that is created. It is very likely that you man need to manually move the user's files from the old profile into the new profile and take ownership of all of these files using the user's new identity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We started with everyone having individual accounts on their machines. JumpCloud has allowed me to get everyone into a single IAM. From here, we can begin building out features such as SSO.
LDAP simplified
What do you like best about the product?
GSuite integration + LDAP simplifies directory management.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints here. Simple and meets our needs.

No longer need to host our own directory service.
JumpCloud : Powerful Multi-Tool
What do you like best about the product?
For us, the ability to bins our Google passwords to our laptops is a game-changer. It has allowed us to become a completely server-free company.
I have also replaced our old asset management system with JumpCloud. With their agent on our laptops, it provides a dearth of information.
I love the ability to push commands. It greatly helps with the setup of laptops.

What do you dislike about the product?
We have been with JumpCloud for about 5 years. I love that they are innovating and building new tools but to do reporting they still require you to use the API. I have been asking for them to build out real reporting in the UI for 4-years now. There has been some progress, but there is still a long way to go.
I do wish that commands were more powerful. By this, I mean things like command queuing to know if a command has been run on a system and to run it automatically on systems when the check-in if it has not already been run.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before JumpCloud, we had to maintain an AD server and our passwords for Google and laptop were segmented. JumpCloud allowed us to remove AD and merge passwords.

Exceptional service
What do you like best about the product?
A cloud-native solutions such as JumpCloud allows to operate efficiently without being forced to configure, maintain, operate and secure a footprint-heavy stack.Truly Fully supported cloud service.
What do you dislike about the product?
MFA is limited compared to other players in the field .Push-MFA or even QR-codes to be used as multiple factors during authentication across devices and protocols.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is the only solution which can provide an authoritative directory, an IdP for SAML and device management combined in a single unified SaaS-based solution. The neutral approach by serving well established standards such as LDAP, SAML and RADIUS for AuthN/AuthZ and having the capability to managed identities (user and their devices) and credentials including SSH-keys on devices is a true differentiator to competitive solutions.
Solid Platform
What do you like best about the product?
As a tech, I like the fact you can do the free trial with up to 10 users for testing without restraints. That allows us to thoroughly test the system without the rush to get it all done in 14 days.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the connection pieces are not super intuitive by themselves. JumpCloud makes up for this by giving ten days of premium support to assist with any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working on a solution that will allow us to move all small business servers to the cloud but still utilize mapped drives like an on-prem solution.

Some options, still missing. I believe with hard work and good reviews JC would be amazing directory as a service

For now, no problems. We have JC authentication for all our online services.

I highly recommand JumpCloud for new companies and even for companies who are willing to go cloud!
