JumpCloud for security compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Its very easy to setup, has a logical user interface and once configured, it just works. I expecially like the integration with out desktop machines (Macs and Windows laptops) and our servers.
What do you dislike about the product?
very little. Some of the descriptions and the 'how tos' assume more knowledge than we might have had to start with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small company with contracts within the public sector that require us to demonstrate hardened security policies - especially for cloud services. We use JumpCloud to manage our internal resources, access to wifi, access to cloud servers (AWS) and G-Suite. JumpCloud makes this easy to configure and requires minimal ongoing maintenance. It makes us compliant with minimal investment in time and resources.

Perfect for environments that aren't 100% Windows
What do you like best about the product?
Makes it easy to coordinate user accounts and permissions across multiple OSes (Windows, Linux, and MacOS); that was my primary reason for moving to JumpCloud. But being able to additionally use those same logins and permissions with a multitude of web services really sealed the deal.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real issue I've run into was that the Linux support is limited to a handful of Linux distros. I can understand the decision, and they've certainly focused on the distros with big userbases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Biggest problem was applying permissions to users across multiple desktop environments. I didn't even realize I needed that same functionality for cloud services, but once I started using it, it quickly became an integral part of our office environment.
Simple and Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
I have used Okta and Centrify and JumpCloud removes all the complexity and offers the basic authentication methods i needs. JC is always updating new features and has been solid for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont have any dislikes at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using JC for authenticating SaaS and platforms to our domain controller. One source of truth for everything.
Great workgroup managability
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to manage a small workgroup and how it syncs with gsuite and O365 for a seamless point of management
What do you dislike about the product?
After initial setup getting the end user to read the email and finish the activation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving manageability with workgroups by syncing either O365 or gsuite and having one password across the board.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jumpcloud is a great service when syncing and integrating within a workgroup. Single point of management makes it easier as an IT professional.
The ideal dashboard for DevOps
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use is remarkable, as is the ease of setting up access to the several different systems we use
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps the dashboard is just a little basic and lacks extensive key management
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is now so much easier to deploy keys and gain access to all the different systems we manage and it is even easier to supply access to other members of our team after the initial setup
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for an application that takes away the trouble of having to add SSH keys to several systems one by one this is the application to use and make life a whole lot more enjoyable

What do you like best about the product?
Central control of Mac infrastructure and user control. We like to be able to encrypt disks and have the keys in one location. Ease of on boarding existing and new users.
What do you dislike about the product?
No default password reset for machines. Need to run script to reset password. More basic functionality required

Central management of users and devices. Loading a new machine and assigning users to it with and Admin user

I would really advise using Jumpcloud for its simplicity and ease of deployment

What do you like best about the product?
It used to be difficult to manage mac and windows machines in the same environment. JumpCloud made this possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much that I dislike honestly. The UI is great and the amount of features JC has are satisfactory for my needs. I had a little trouble with logging in a few times, but i realized I wasn't clicking admin login.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned before, it was difficult managing macs in the same environment. JumpCloud makes this possible.
Versatile. Easy to stand up quickly
What do you like best about the product?
Easy management for remote workers without complex infrastructure
What do you dislike about the product?
When the jumpcloud agent rarely fails, it can make things difficult
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduced cost vs traditional AD deployment in smaller SMB environments.

This is a very easy lift to get started.
Easy and just works!
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud makes it simple to manage users and computers for your business in a way that doesn’t make it feel like a crazy complex IT setup
What do you dislike about the product?
Jumpclould has a few UI problems which don’t have a clear solution which means you have to spend a little more time training less tech users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing multiple windows workstations, their logins, and maintaining settings between those users. Before we hat to juggle “which computer do I have a login on” and “I don’t remember the password I used”

Use the trial to see if it works. 10 users for free let us get going no problem !
