Reliable, versatile, and the future of directory management

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is intuitive, robust, and packed with features. Managing users, devices, and policies feels seamless, and the cloud-based approach removes the headaches of maintaining on-premise infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far nothing as such. It just serves all my purposes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before JumpCloud, managing users, devices, and access was fragmented across multiple tools, leading to inefficiencies and security gaps. JumpCloud has unified everything into a single platform—allowing us to centrally manage identities, enforce security policies, and integrate SSO for our applications. This has significantly reduced password-related issues, streamlined onboarding/offboarding, and improved compliance. The cloud-based approach also means we can manage our environment from anywhere without the cost and complexity of on-premise infrastructure.

    Information Technology and Services

Jack of all trades, master of none

  • August 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We can manage everything we *should* need to in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrations break all the time. Mac OS password sharing almost never works, causes frequent lockout. Provisioning new Mac OS clients is a chore and is issue prone, requiring caps-sensitive username matching to successfully register. Locking Mac OS devices has on numerous occasions caused devices to be locked out and need recovery via configurator. SCIM integrations break without warning, had several SaaS apps fail to deprovision users. No warning is given when integrations break.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us meet compliance needs and manage our fleet of staff devices. Benefits us by saving some net time.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy to onboard devices, and the remote commands are helpful for managing them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features in operating systems like Windows don’t have corresponding policies in JumpCloud, which makes it harder to control those settings easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mobile device management, it is benefiting us in allowing for remote control of devices

Efficient User and Device Management with Room for Reporting Improvements

  • August 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the friendly GUI in JumpCloud. We enjoy the dynamic groups feature which allows us to set users within a department or city and automatically provide every access needed. The policy management for both Windows and Linux stands out positively, and we appreciate the ability to use MFA into SSH servers through group management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the reporting aspect lacking; I would love something similar to Access Reviews. We can do it, but it requires a lot of work, and sometimes we just need a simple way to know which users have access to what. Also, integrations seem to lack some of the more recent ones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud solves user access to multiple services, device management for Mac and Windows, SSO integrations, support automation through scripts, and group management for auto-provisioning.

JumpCloud is a great solution for any company that has remote workers.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, I use it everyday, it helps me managing my MFA, passwords, and applications. It enables me to open quickly a ticket for support on any app.

works as if nothing is installed on my machine.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the MFA to acces the user account on my laptop lags, and when I'm not connected to wifi (for example when traveling) it is almost imposible to access the machine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My main problems are regarding the partner portal, not as a user, they are doing great for user experience. Maybe just an emergency access to my pc when I'm not connected to wifi.

Easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about the platform is that you can roll up the accounts created for the users and thus have everything in the same system.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's very personal, but I think just for me it's a little bit complicated the commands that can be applied using jumpcloud depending on the operating system
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Users used to manage countless passwords, so they were quite confused. Now that everything is unified, it's much simpler to track and unify all the passwords on the platform.

Good Option

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using JumpCloud for a while now and what I really like is its versatility across different platforms. The cloud-based management is a plus too, especially for remote work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can be a bit clunky at times, and some features, like the reporting tools, could use more polish. Also, it’s not the cheapest option out there, especially for smaller businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud makes managing Mac devices super easy. I can push security policies, manage users, and handle updates all from one place, which saves a lot of time. It also works well with other MDM tools. Only downside is sometimes it’s a bit slow to update changes in real-time, but overall, it’s solid for Mac management.
