Conditional access
JumpCloud offers conditional access capabilities, such as device conditions for disk encryption and OS version.

Simple and user-friendly!

  • May 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is clean, well-organized, and very beginner-friendly, making it easy to navigate and manage without a steep learning curve. Even for someone new to identity and access management, getting started with JumpCloud feels straightforward. It’s designed in a way that helps you find what you need quickly and get tasks done efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike about JumpCloud is that it’s still missing some integrations with other widely used technologies. While the platform covers many core features well, the lack of seamless integration with certain third-party tools can create extra steps or workarounds. Expanding native support for more external services would make it even more powerful and versatile in diverse IT environments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is helping me centralize access to all my applications through a single identity provider (IdP), which simplifies user management and strengthens security. By having all users authenticate through one platform, I gain much more control over who has access to what, and I can monitor user logins more effectively. This centralized approach not only improves visibility but also reduces the complexity of managing multiple authentication systems.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like its wide range of integrations and all-in-one functionality. It’s easy to use, quick to set up, and covers everything from user management to device control. The platform is reliable, and new features are added regularly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting could be more customizable, and a few settings need more granular control.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes too complex and had several outages during last year.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the possibility of enrolling different types of devices easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be better to have an easy-to-see enrollment link (like JAMF provides) instead of having a copy at the bottom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud allow me to management windows and linux devices easily.

    Computer Software

User friendly software, gets the job done, a bit hard to keep up with

  • May 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is user friendly, its interface is really clean and easy to understand. It plugs into a lot of different softwares and integrates fairly seamlessly. Its a good solution for a company that doesn't have a tech team but still needs to manage devices and be SOC 2 Compliant. You need to have some MDM system and also some user groups and access control to pass SOC 2 and this certainly makes that easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit complex, you almost need an implementation specialist to set yourself up. It would be hard just to pay the flat amount and not get the extra support so that does come at an extra cost. The software is also only as good as the user and if the user is having trouble keeping up with their device management its easy to fall behind, but that would probably be true of any similar software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud gets us out of spreadsheets, helps us keep us with our users and device management. It helps us streamline as a growing company.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. Things tend to be very easy and problems are easily corrected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a unified log in system and ensuring that security features are cared for and a small non profit has a system that works.

Efficient and user-friendly platform for managing devices and users remotely

  • May 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
it offers seamless integration for managing users authentication, devices, policies and security compliance from one dashboard. THE ui is intuitive, and the documentation is very well structured.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's great over all. Although the agent can sometimes take a while to sync updates or commands, especially when devices are offline. A more granular scheduling controls for commands would be a useful addition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps us manage user identities, enforce password and security policies, and maintain device compliance across our distributed workforce, all from a centralized cloud platform. It eliminates the need for on-prem directory services, streamlines onboarding and offboarding processes, and strengthens access control through SSO and MFA enforcement. This has significantly improved our operational efficiency, security posture, and remote IT management capabilities.

JumpCloud MDM-Simplifying Our IT Operations

  • May 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One thing i like about about Jumpcloud is how its a one-stop IT solution down to HR directory management. i can easily manage and sync with directories on Google workspace, Azure AD or Hi Bob. coupled with the ability to manage users, their permission levels and devices. The fact that i can manage the devices and provide remote assist/troubleshooting has been really amazing which makes it an incredibly powerful and efficient tool for IT administrators.
What do you dislike about the product?
For some functions, particularly disk recovery scenarios, users might find there's a greater reliance on administrator intervention than they'd prefer, limiting self-service options. Also, Jumpcloud needs to have a feature where one can upload multiple config files for policy configuration of EDR tools for Multiple mac OS compatibility
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud masterfully solves our IT fragmentation headache by providing a single, intuitive platform for MDM, SSO, and granular user/group management across all our directories like Google Workspace and M365. This unified control drastically simplifies user lifecycle management and device security, including remote troubleshooting, dramatically boosting our operational efficiency. Ultimately, it means less time wrestling with disparate tools and more time for strategic IT initiatives, while significantly enhancing our overall security posture.
