Moneyfarm's Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Here's a shorter version of what Moneyfarm likes best about JumpCloud:
What We Love About JumpCloud
JumpCloud has been a game-changer for Moneyfarm by providing a single point of management for user identities, passwords, and device policies across both Windows and Mac environments. This eliminates the need for separate tools, greatly streamlining IT operations and reducing administrative overhead.
We particularly appreciate the ability to onboard users, enforce consistent password policies, and apply granular device policies regardless of the operating system. Centralized password management, including MFA, has significantly improved our security posture and user experience. Its intuitive interface and cloud-first approach perfectly align with our needs, making IT management much simpler and more scalable.

What do you dislike about the product?
While JumpCloud is excellent, there's always room for minor improvements. The initial setup, especially migrating existing users and devices, can require a bit of planning and attention to detail to ensure a smooth transition. The documentation is good, but sometimes specific edge cases require a deeper dive or a call to support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud solves our critical need for unified identity and access management and device management across both Windows and Mac, ending our fragmented IT systems. This allows us to enforce consistent security policies and manage user passwords centrally, eliminating "password sprawl" and improving overall security. The direct benefits are significantly increased operational efficiency, a stronger security posture, and a much simpler, more scalable IT management experience.
Very good fit for our all-in-one cloud needs
What do you like best about the product?
The main thing we needed Jumpcloud for was an Active Directory replacement. Not only did JumpCloud do this well, but there were tons of other features that we eventually needed anyways. In other words, Jumpcloud was a PLATFORM, not just a single-service replacement. The other features needed were also absolutely necessary, as they were required for SOC 2 and ISO compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some minor features that did not work or was buggy. The "Remote Assist" never worked on any machines, whether it be Windows or Mac. There were also a few instances when a user's password expired, they were locked out of their macbook, and resetting their password from their user console meant that keychain was wiped out and all local passwords stored on their machine was lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The specific features we needed in Jumpcloud were: Cloud directory, 2-factor authentication, Mobile Device Management, RADIUS, which all integrated into SSO, VPN, and MFA. We needed all this to be compliant and Jumpcloud helped solved this in a single platform. Otherwise, we would have needed several different vendors to integrate all these into our compliance needs, which would cost more and harder to manage across multiple vendors.
JumpCloud is user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to navigate through the menus
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be inconsistent with how things work successfully
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to manage our laptops and utilize sso user groups to access applications easily
A comprehensive solution for companies that need a one stop shop.
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud has an easy to use interface that makes getting up to speed fast, achievable. You can train your team in a short amount of time mostly because items within the interface are where you would expect and very intuitive. If you need multiple different security related solutions, looking to consolidate or need to simplify your environment then JumpCloud is great. Additionally, unlike competitors, Jumpcloud works with both Apple and Microsoft so you do not need to run both Intune and Jamf. This makes deployments, training and audits far simpler.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jumpcloud may not have all the features you can get from dedicated, specialized solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a solution that could manage both Apple and Microsoft devices.
Jumpcloud
What do you like best about the product?
The UI and their security standards were great for what we needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
More integrations are needed for this product to succeed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to access all of our applications in one place is very helpful.
A Modern Cloud Directory for Secure, Scalable Access Management.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about JumpCloud is how it brings together identity, access, and cross-platform device management in a single, cloud-native platform. It’s especially effective for securing remote teams, enforcing Zero Trust policies, and replacing legacy tools like Active Directory—all without the overhead of complex infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful aspect of JumpCloud is its limited depth in certain areas compared to specialized tools. While it offers broad functionality, some features—like reporting, mobile device management, and advanced conditional access—lack the flexibility or granularity found in dedicated platforms like Jamf, Intune, or Okta.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For us, it's all about centralizing user identity, access control, and device management across a globally distributed workforce. It simplifies onboarding and offboarding, enforces security policies like MFA and disk encryption on Macs and Windows devices, and supports Zero Trust principles—all from a single cloud console. This reduces reliance on manual processes, strengthens compliance for ISO 27001 and SOC 2, and provides better visibility and control without needing traditional on-premise infrastructure.
Like it! A convenient MDM solution to manage various operating systems
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud offers fantastic features, from SSO to its Password Manager. I love its user-friendly interface and ease of use. The cross-OS management (Windows, Linux, macOS, and even virtual machines) is particularly impressive! Great job, team!
What do you dislike about the product?
Our experience with JumpCloud has been entirely positive. Everything is working well!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps us managing devices, users and passwords; implementing policies for strong, unique passwords and providing secure methods for password resets and MFA.
A Swiss army knife for IT Managers
What do you like best about the product?
It does everything, from SSOs to device management to Zero Trust to SaaS Management.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dishonesty. I haven't seen some items in bug reports, even they were broken and fixed. The JumpCloud Status is always "All Systems Operational", even though some feature is not working and there's downtime. It feels like they're trying to cover their tracks and look better (than they are).
Also, it's extremely hard to find information if something is not supported by the product. I wish JumpCloud would just mention its shortcomings clearly in the documentation, so the information would be easier to find. It's ok to not have all features, compared to some competitor. A good example about this is the support for Migration Assistant for macOS.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To comply with the Cyber Essentials and ISO27K
The Lifesaver MDM
What do you like best about the product?
As an IT admin using JumpCloud, I’ve found it incredibly efficient for managing users and devices across Windows, macOS, and Linux from one place. The built-in MFA, conditional access, and Zero Trust features greatly strengthen our security. Integrations with tools like Google Workspace and M365 make user access seamless, and onboarding/offboarding is quick and automated saving us a lot of manual work. It’s really streamlined our IT operations. Btw it was very easy to implement this in to our organisation and we use this application on a daily bases.
What do you dislike about the product?
While JumpCloud is powerful, it can have a steep learning curve for new admins. Some advanced features lack customization, and real-time device status updates can occasionally lag. The UI, though clean, could be more intuitive in certain areas. Also, support response times can vary depending on the issue's urgency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud has solved several key challenges for us, especially around centralized identity and device management. Previously, we relied on multiple tools to manage user access, enforce security, and support remote devices. With JumpCloud, everything is unified user provisioning, MFA, device policies, and access controls are all handled from a single platform. It has replaced our dependency on traditional on prem Active Directory and made remote work much easier to support. The ability to manage Windows, macOS, and Linux devices in one place is a huge benefit. It’s also improved our security posture with Zero Trust principles and reduced manual overhead significantly.
JumpCloud Review
What do you like best about the product?
The password manager, especially when used with the browser extension, makes it easy to sign in. I frequently login to various platforms so this helps me save time. I am currently planning to integrate Okta to help with SSO.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I experience issues automatically pasting the email and password using the extension on Microsoft edge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
one of the issue JumpCloud helps us solve the issue of lack of visibility; thus giving us visibility into users and endpoints within our environment and making it easier and more efficient in MDM.
