It just works
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to execute commands on endpoints, it just does what it says it's going to do and well.
What do you dislike about the product?
lack of cloud storage integrations, no ability to attach cloud storage like google drive or onedrive to a device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cost effective when compared to traditional AD solutions, it's allowing us to have a simplified interface with quick and easy management, having SSO is a major benefit especially when all the tools fit nicely together, having a password manager and user portal that just works is what we needed.

Jumpcloud
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud wraps up multiple tools in to one service. It acts as an MDM, device manager, SSO, and people directory.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jumpcloud is pretty complex and has a big learning curve. Luckily, they have docs and staff more than willing to walk you through becoming an expert on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud servers as our MDM, policy and user management tool.
Streamlined Apple Device Management with JumpCloud
What do you like best about the product?
I find JumpCloud invaluable for managing Apple devices, specifically in identity, policy, and asset management. The integration with Apple Business Manager allows control over all devices, which significantly improved our IT operations. Its MDM solution streamlines inventory and policy management, saving time and securing our environment. The seamless integrations with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace enhance our cybersecurity capabilities, and single sign-on further boosts its functionality.

SSO a breeze
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud has been relatively easy for us to onboard with and we've found integrating most platforms we use quite easy. We're right in the middle of rolling out MDM now for a mostly Mac fleet and even for our less technical team, they've found it a fairly smooth operation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to say really, most issues we've run into when setting up SSO have originated from the other end and not Jumpcloud, so I can't really fault it there. Maybe if i'm being super critical, the UI is a bit basic and could be a bit smoother in places but that's my old designer brain nitpicking more than anything!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud has given us a one stop shop for all of our user and device management needs. We had a very fragmented onboarding process prior, and coming online with Jumpcloud has significantly improved our new hire experience. Managing the team and fleet of devices has become massively easier as well. And while saying all this, we've still got things we haven't yet implemented on our roadmap that we want to in Jumpcloud so we're just getting started!
JumpCloud
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud has been a game-changer for our company. It simplified our identity and access management, allowing us to manage users, devices, and security policies from one central platform. Onboarding and offboarding are now seamless, and remote device management has become incredibly efficient. It's saved us time, improved security, and scaled perfectly with our growth. Highly recommended!

MDM for for Chromboks does not exist in JumpCloud

Centralized and Efficient Management with JumpCloud
What do you like best about the product?
I like how user and machine provisioning in JumpCloud is simple and easy to work with. The ease and speed of the process are especially valuable in a busy day-to-day, streamlining the process. Additionally, I found the initial setup very simple and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asset management, I believe that if JumpCloud created an asset management system for inventories, it would greatly facilitate things because in the daily IT operation, we don't work only with notebooks and cell phones; we have peripherals, internet networks. If we could have this in JumpCloud, it would be of great value as it would centralize the entire IT operation. Today, asset management is very much based on desktops and smartphones. If we could add other items to users, like mice and keyboards, we could have full visibility of IT assets in one place, in addition to network items with Mikrotik, Unifi, among others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud resolves disorganization in user and machine provisioning, lack of centralized access control, security risks from weak passwords, and absence of strong authentication. It also provides more visibility into activities and events, and improves decentralized management.
Solid IAM Platform
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud makes it really easy to manage users, devices, and access in one place. I like that it works across macOS, Windows, and Linux without much hassle. The SSO and LDAP integrations are solid, and the UI is clean and simple to use. Their documentation helps a lot and the API support is great if you want to automate things. It’s helped us push forward with Zero Trust in a practical way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing that could be better is the separation between the admin panel and the user-facing dashboard. Having to go to a different URL for the admin console breaks the flow a bit. It would be much more fluent if everything was accessible from a single dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At Digibee, JumpCloud helps us simplify identity and device management across different environments. It solves the hassle of managing local user accounts on macOS and Linux machines, and makes it easy to apply security policies consistently. We also use it for SSO and to automate some onboarding and offboarding tasks. It saves us time, cuts down on tool sprawl, and helps us stay aligned with our security and compliance goals.
Long time customer
What do you like best about the product?
directory management for macOS credentials
What do you dislike about the product?
Some feature sets seem to have constricted requirements for deployment. Conditional access policies requiring JumpCloud mdm when we already have an MDM fully entrenched in our infrastructure is one example. If there we're broader compatibility with existing services I'd be happier, though it seems JumpClouds business model has been pushing towards an "all in one" solution to lean in to other markets for some time now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The primary use of JumpCloud is to act as our authoritative directory/idp
Great Go between authentication software
What do you like best about the product?
We use Jumpcloud to authenticate with google and it has really filled a need that we had to able to allow our teachers to authenticate in a simpler way. SSO is definitely the way to go when you have to service so many connections on wifi and teachers have so many passwords to remember. It is nice to make their job a little easier. The installation and deployment was very easy and the tech support was great. He are very satisfied.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price could be a little better but it isn't bad
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have alot of teachers that connect to wifi everyday and we each year we have a big turnover in teachers, so we wanted a wifi authentication system that would allow our teachers to connect easy and not have to remember another password
