Easy to use and just works

What do you like best about the product?
It offers a ton of features and they keep improving them to stay ahead of the curve. The server agent installation is as simple as they can get and brings all your servers within the control panel. Manging users across a lot of different platforms is the best part of JumpCloud. They also have a huge library of integrations, which just keeps growing. There not much they dont integrate with! I use JumpCloud daily at work in one way or another.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing model/plan selection could be better. The pricing has made the service unusable for some of my projects that cant afford it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before JumpCloud, managing ssh keys on all of our cloud servers was a very tedious and time consuming task. It was also a huge secruity issue as there was no single point to verify all of the servers had the right keys added on them and that there werent any old keys left on them. This was a huge secruity concern when you have 20-30 servers online. JumpCloud solved that issue for us, giving us an easy to use web interface to manage all of our servers, get information about them, and add/remove users. The MFA for ssh is also a huge bonus. It makes me feel way better knowing our production servers have solid authentication that is secure.

What do you like best about the product?
Using few clicks to manage users, devices and policies. Ease of use is just top notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't really think of one right now, but I know it can always be better, like users being able to raise a ticket for more access within it instead of using Jira.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing users, device access and policies

What do you like best about the product?
One of the most used features I work with is the ability to import users through a CSV. I have created a script that allows me to input names and a csv is created with all the fields I need for that user, or even multiple users. Makes it super quick and useful for batch onboarding. I plan to implement usage of the API so I can assign work groups, devices, and directories along with the users. I also use the remote command running feature just about everyday, so useful for needing to install remote tools, or get system info. Super easy to integrate with other services, microsoft, webex, etc. Documention is sufficient enough. If I couldn't find the answer there, the communitor forums are a great resource and customer support
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI flow could use some work. It can be a bit annoying when you need to make a change saved, but then the window for that device/ user/ etc. just disappears and you have to search for it again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identity management, azure integration

    Goodness I.

The only solution for device management

  • May 17, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the Device Management system. I can execute commands remotely on windows devices. I particularly love the deployment of applications using the chocolatey framework. This means users can request to have certain applications on their devices and I can deploy them remotely without having local access to the devices. Especially as only domain administrators can install applications locally and these users don't have such privileges.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the logging should be enriched more than it is at the moment, and it should have an integration with security solutions to help with log aggregation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need a central identity management provider for some of our workloads like Jenkins, and we integrated with jumpcloud so only users in a specific jumpcloud user group can authenticate to our Jenkins server. Jenkins primarily doesn't have MFA, so using jumpcloud helps with that additional layer of security as every authentication to Jenkins through jumpcloud will require jumpcloud MFA.

Single integrated MDM platform for Mac and Windows Platform

  • May 17, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The platforms gives the best control of your assets and easy to do the deployment as well. Moreover, you don't have to be a techie to do this by yourself. The GUI is so friendly that it doesn't take much of experience to set it up by yourself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Constant touch point requirement at times makes the system to go out of domain but with strict constrain measure this can be avoided.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I have described earlier, it is a user friendly single integrated platform helps managing the devices from the comfort of your mobile devices.

What do you like best about the product?
Windows integration with Chocolaty makes it super simple to deploy apps.
Mac integration with VPP make it super simple to deploy some apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of open sorce integration on the Mac side similar to Windows, adding an Installomator integration would add alot of value to the Mac side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a fully remote distributed team, having JumpCloud let's me manage all aspects of my device fleet, from patch management, to zero touch deployment.
