Ok, but could be better

  • February 13, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is a great option for cross-platform device and identity management.
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud's interfaces are clunky, and the password manager is slow and somewhat unwieldy to deploy across a large team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is helping us get a handle on our fleet of cross-platform devices and make sure that devices are encrypted - a big concern for us since we work with schools and student data.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy centralized management for Windows, macOS, and Linux.Integration with SSO, MFA, and security policies without relying on local controllers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The scripting session could be improved and a remote console made available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud solves the problem of centrally managing multiple operating systems by eliminating the need for on-premises domain controllers. This simplifies user, access, and security policy management, providing greater control and automation.

What do you like best about the product?
Has a lot of functions and it is compatible with many environments. The implementation was straightforward and their team was very present. I like that you'll have not only an SSO but also an MDM and Remote Desktop on the same solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has some minor bugs, but their team replies fast with solutions. The customization for your needs is a little difficult but mostly possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SSO, MDM, Remote Support

Not ready for Prime Time

  • February 13, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
remote access built in is really helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
Inconsistent, slow to push updates to devices, breaks often including as an MDM (i can't push commands to mobile devices). MDM is laughable: it has 4 commands if they work; can't get phone numbers for iphones, can't track lost devices,it's not a modern mdm. Jumpcloud's mfa is tedious, often having to tab from one box to another to enter 6 digits. Very pricey to not have options other platforms have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We onboarded as a uniform way to manage windows computers and iphones. It "does" this, but not well.

There is nothing much to dislike as it is pretty easy to navigate and use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remoting into devices from far away solving software issues is so much easier to solve
