Great Saml provider

  • February 13, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Good centralized credentialing platform. We're controlling access through AD sync, wifi networks and other proprietary business systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
AD integration could be tighter. Full control of workstations is achieved after removing from windows domain. This makes access to shared folders on a domain server difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password policy enforcement. MFA. SSO.

Have the option to send a password via link, protected with a password or with email + mfa.

single user management and SSO in a single tool

Good platform... when it works

  • February 13, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have a heterogeneous environment, with Windows, Mac, and Linux users. JumpCloud is one of the few platforms that (in theory) supports every operating system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is buggy and support is awful! Their first tier support seems to be based largely in India and work Indian hours. That's not great for folks in the Western Hemisphere. Then, after reporting bugs in the platform with steps to reproduce each issue, you still only have about a 50/50 chance of those bugs getting fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MDM is required in order to pass a SOC2 audit, so JumpCloud MDM checks that box.

Best solution for Enterprise IT

  • February 13, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to use it for SSO is a serious time saver. Jumpcloud does all the heavy lifting, with little to no configuration required, so users can log into all of your SaaS products through one portal. It is truly the best SSO solution on the market. Plus, the dashboard is easy to navigate and user-friendly. You can't get any better!
What do you dislike about the product?
For the brief time I've used JumpCloud, I've had no issues. I don't use it daily, but I'm impressed so far. I would also like it if Jumpcloud included Workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We currently are using Jumpcloud as our Device Management solution.

What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps they should properly include more versions in other languages since it is a platform that is used in many places nowadays.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some times are slow in data loading

JumpCloud: The Ideal IAM Solution for SMBs

  • February 13, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I suggest JumpCloud to small business owners and municipal administrators who need a centralized identity and device management solution that offers cost efficiency. JumpCloud delivers easy user authentication and security management across Windows, macOS, Linux, and cloud-based applications while avoiding Active Directory's complexity and additional expenses.

Businesses experience significant savings on hardware and licensing expenses since no on-prem infrastructure is required. The cloud-based interface is intuitive which enables straightforward administration while reducing IT workload and streamlining access management and the onboarding process. The platform provides built-in security features such as MFA along with conditional access and SSO to guard against cyber threats and maintain compliance.

JumpCloud provides enterprise-grade security through a scalable, comprehensive IAM solution which is available at a fraction of the usual cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jumpcloud is constantly evolving and adding more features and capabilities so most concerns I've had over the years have been addressed, including the recent preview capabilities of federation with Apple Business Manager. I'd like to see the password manager evolve a little further yet to be a little more seamless with passwords and 2FA. The recent additions that help with Shadow IT and the PAM features on the horizon are great additions!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud streamlines multiple platform management for users and devices and security through one consolidated console that's simple to use. The consolidation of management features into a single console reduces administrative workloads and streamlines customer onboarding while cutting IT expenses for resellers. Businesses achieve efficient operations with centralized identity management and devices along with built-in security features while ensuring compliance and security through seamless SSO without using traditional directory services.
