Effortless MFA Management, Reliable Performance
What do you like best about the product?
I like that JumpCloud has an easy-to-use management interface, fair pricing, and has been reliable throughout the years. The interface is clean and well thought out. The JumpCloud agent is reliable and consistent on the servers it is deployed on. I've never had a problem with MFA authentication to servers since switching to JumpCloud. The initial setup was a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
there hasn't been anything that we don't like about JumpCloud!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud to consolidate and manage our MFA SSH logins, solving the hassle of manual Google Authentication for each developer. I appreciate its easy management interface, fair pricing, and reliability in server authentication without issues.
Unified Asset Management with Seamless Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I like that JumpCloud keeps everything in one place, including its own SSO and MFA solutions, making asset management and tracking customer devices seamless. The user interface is very easy to use, which I appreciate. JumpCloud always seems ahead of the scale, looking to improve and taking feedback very well. If there's something we need to add or fix, it's usually addressed promptly within the next couple of days. Their customer support is amazing as well. Additionally, using JumpCloud to manage and push out CrowdStrike was very helpful, with the setup information being great and rollout seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes JumpCloud seems to be behind on a couple of things. They got the asset management piece down, but it was a little late. Also, a lot of applications aren't integrated with JumpCloud, like certain things using SCIM, which could provide some challenges. Setting up applications in tools like Jamf, Kanji, or Mozo is a bit easier and more user-friendly. I'd like to see JumpCloud improve in that area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud keeps everything in one place, integrating SSO, MFA, and asset management, reducing the need for multiple third-party solutions.
Efficient Identity Management with Smooth Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I like JumpCloud for ensuring continuity of access management even during system upgrades, which helps to reduce stress and supports growth. I appreciate how JumpCloud has saved me time and found the initial setup to be smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging to enforce identity policies across non-network connected systems using cloud-based identity control. I also think system performance insights need improvement to better monitor platform efficiency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps enforce identity policies on non-network systems and ensures access management continuity during upgrades. It reduces stress and saves time, supporting growth.
Strong Cross-Platform Directory & Device Management for Growing Security Teams
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud does a really solid job unifying identity and device management in a way that feels modern and API-driven. For organizations that are cloud-first and don’t want to maintain traditional on-prem AD infrastructure, it provides a clean alternative that supports macOS, Windows, and Linux in a single console.
I especially appreciate the cross-platform support and the ability to tie users to devices, policies, and SSO apps from one directory. The policy engine for password enforcement and device control is straightforward, and the conditional access capabilities are strong for organizations trying to move toward a Zero Trust model.
Implementation is also relatively smooth compared to standing up and maintaining legacy directory infrastructure. Once agents are deployed, ongoing management becomes predictable and scalable

What do you dislike about the product?
Like most platforms trying to be both directory + MDM + IAM, some areas feel deeper than others. Advanced MDM workflows, especially on macOS, can feel less mature than more Mac-native tools. Reporting can also require some digging depending on the visibility you’re looking for.
Pricing can scale quickly as you layer on features, especially if you are using it heavily for SSO, device management, and directory services together. Larger environments may want to carefully model licensing and feature tiers before committing long term.
Support has generally been responsive, but highly technical troubleshooting sometimes requires escalation, which can slow things down when you’re dealing with time-sensitive endpoint issues.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps centralize identity and endpoint management without requiring traditional Active Directory infrastructure. For a growing company, that reduces operational overhead and simplifies user provisioning, deprovisioning, and device enforcement.
It improves security posture by allowing us to:
Enforce password policies consistently
Tie user accounts to device posture
Manage SSO access to SaaS applications
Standardize authentication across macOS, Windows, and Linux
From a compliance perspective, having centralized visibility into user access and device controls makes audits significantly easier. It also streamlines onboarding and offboarding workflows, which reduces risk and manual effort.

JumpCloud helps me in my daily routine by facilitating the deployment and assignment of applications to users through groups, and it is also very easy to configure.
Streamlined Identity Management Despite Cost Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I really like JumpCloud's ability to fine-tune onboarding, which is great for our team. The support documentation is quite helpful; if something isn't obvious, a quick search points me to exactly what I need and how to do it. The ease of use stands out, making it simpler for on-boarding new users as they can just receive an activation link, enroll their devices, and manage their identity with no hassle. Also, the integration with Google Workspace is invaluable for our organization, simplifying management across all operating systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe cost is the biggest thing when you are dealing with integration into workspace, I wish it was more affordable since every user essentially is a double charge from Google and JumpCloud itself. I think JumpCloud needs more flexible subscription models to be able to survive for medium to large size businesses who want to save a little.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud allows us to manage multiple platforms and identities in one place, simplifying integration with Google Workspace. The streamlined onboarding and excellent support documentation make it easy to use, ensuring that we can manage device enrollment and identity efficiently.
Streamlined Access with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I find JumpCloud straightforward to use, especially since I pretty much never have to enter a password by relying on the Apple TouchID on my Mac. It's also easy to set and use on my Android phone, with a Work profile and a Personal profile.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Password Manager is not very user friendly and confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud for unified access control and managing devices, ensuring no data leak by remotely erasing stolen devices.

It helps streamline onboarding and offboarding, enforce security policies consistently, and reduce manual IT effort. This benefits me by saving time, improving security posture, and giving better visibility and control over users and devices across the organization.
Great for Centralized Device Management, Needs Better App Handling
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to link users to devices, which simplifies the process of finding a device and grabbing the user to find out details about them. Simplified policies are also a feature I appreciate.
What do you dislike about the product?
App management isn't working properly, as apps don't push correctly if they already have them installed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud provides centralized management of devices, policy, and patching. It simplifies linking users to devices, enabling easy retrieval of device and user details.
Convenient SSO Integrations That Centralize Authentication
What do you like best about the product?
The built-in integrations with a variety of different SSO applications make it incredibly convenient to connect our different services to authentication from a single, central location.
What do you dislike about the product?
The logging/reporting does leave a bit to be desired, while you can find SSO attempts/failures etc these often aren't easily correlated to a specific application or service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SSO on all of the things, price point per user and application specific permission sets (AWS IAM).
