What do you like best about the product?
From the initial demo and kick off calls, the JumpCloud team was super supportive. They provided resources and personal touch points to ensure I was getting the most out of my demo. Even through the negotiations and agreement process they were understanding and supportive throughout.
The integration into our HRIS system was also a very easy 2 minute process to help keep one single source of truth for employee/user data ensuring data integrity and reducing the opportunity for human error.
From there, the tool was easy to use and implement for my 180+ endpoints. I even used their JCADMU (Active Directory Migration Utility) to convert my previous Azure AD user accounts to local accounts to speed up the process. I was able to complete over 100 user migrations in just under 6 weeks (long weekend included!) as a single resource. This included both Macs and PCs.
I can now setup and deploy a new user with a computer in just under 1 hour compared to the 4 it used to take previously.
I've been watching JumpCloud for a long time, and I'm so happy I was finally able to take the plunge and become a customer!

What do you dislike about the product?
The JCADMU tool isn't perfect, and even working with their support we couldn't find a solution to the issue I was seeing (active profile despite the fact that the PC was shutdown and the account never accessed) but I found a workaround using Safe Mode (not ideal but did work in the particularly stuck cases) to resolve those on my own.
As well, since JumpCloud isn't as big of a player in the space (compared to a Microsoft or Okta), they aren't included as a default configuration for some SSO apps, so having to create the custom integrations is a bit more tedious.

Single platform for managing and deploying Mac, Linux and Mac devices. We also use it for software deployment to ensure all new laptops receive the same software, and ad-hoc requests can be handled with 1 to zero touch. This also allows us to limit the amount of administrative access we need to to provide to our users lowering our potential for other IT issues.
We also have the automated account creations for our Google Workspace and Microsoft accounts, which speeds up out onboarding and also improves the employee experience.

Effortless Device Management, Needs Better Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the JumpCloud UI is pretty simple to use, which makes it easier for me to manage devices. It's convenient having macOS and Windows management all in the same place, saving me time since I don't need to jump between different systems. The data from the devices helps me check OS versions and app versions efficiently. I also appreciate the search bar that quickly finds anything, from devices to users, with just a click. The initial setup was easy for us; creating users, integrating with Google, deploying apps, and running scripts were all intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the support team can improve, a lot of times we tried to get their support but they have not helped or found a solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud to manage devices remotely, serve as a password source of truth, and handle WiFi with a Radius server.
A game changer!
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud has been a total game-changer for out team. Managing users, devices and access from a single cloud platform has helped us so much. The site is intuitive and saves us from spending so much time navigating. Having everything be centralized is so helpful and allows us to enhance our security. It's user friendly so it makes it easy for our end users to upload their keys if needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have only been using Jumpcloud for less than a year, so far so good. Nothing I dislike sticks out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a centralized platform helps us seamlessly integrate user identity access and device management.
Good to implement and ease of use, needs to improve Apple MDM section
What do you like best about the product?
Really complete platform, great to set users in the center of the management, great variety of modules and implementation, also good to have a single product for protect and SSO automatically deployment. Perfect to mange different platform of clients and apply easily configurations and policies. We also received support for first implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacks of functions in the Apple MDM section, missing ChromeOS management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing different client solutions, centralizing user management, enforcing security rules and delivering compliances, easily delivering SSO.
Wonderful System!
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud's features are fantastic and I find to be the most advanced MDM tool in the market! I particularly like the user and device management tools, makes it very easy to manage our devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Waiting for some updates to roll out- great features but would just like sooner
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is an all in one product, does everything you need.
User friendly, great implementation
What do you like best about the product?
This product is straightforward to use, and adding integrations is simple. There are also a variety of features available.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still a few features related to commands and policies that are missing, but I have learned that some of these options are currently being developed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The proper use of company resources and the ease of managing those resources stand out.
Great platform, excellent features.
What do you like best about the product?
From my perspective as an admin, the cross-platform device management is a standout feature. It's a huge time-saver to be able to enforce security policies, deploy software, and manage local accounts across our macOS, Windows, and Linux devices all from one place. On the security side, features like MFA, conditional access policies, and SSH key management give us enterprise-grade control without adding a lot of complexity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the advanced MDM controls for macOS are limited. For our Mac environments, some capabilities—especially those related to bootstrap tokens, kernel extension approvals, and declarative device management—are more limited compared to what you'd get from solutions integrated with Apple Business Manager.
I also have issues with reporting and logging. While basic logging is available, I wish the detailed audit trails and event reporting (like real-time login events, policy enforcement logs, or failed access attempts) were more granular and customizable without me having to rely on API workarounds.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a single, powerful platform that I can manage all of my various endpoints, regardless of OS, is a game changer. To be able to manage everything in the life cycle of my endpoints, users, etc., in one pane of glass makes my life much easier.
