What do you like best about the product?
I love how I can easily manage devices and remotely erase devices when I have a termination. I also like the patch management features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how the policy to update MAC OS either Early adoption ring or late adoption ring, has a notification that stays on your screen even after your computer is up to date. I think that can be improved!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
its solving how i can manage devices and complete off boarding easily. its benefitting because before i used to receive laptops back locked with personal apple ids and after i started using mdm and managing the backupcodes, i am able to lock the computers remotely and format them as well.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is incredibly intuitive and easy to use for managing all our company devices.

Their customer support team is outstanding—they are highly responsive, knowledgeable, and always resolve issues quickly.

The ease of implementation and the comprehensive features have streamlined our IT operations significantly.

I appreciate the robust security features and the ability to manage user access and devices from a single console.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there is a slight delay in the web console updating after a change has been made.

The pricing structure can be a bit confusing to understand at a glance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud has solved the challenge of managing our diverse fleet of devices (laptops, desktops, etc.) from a single, centralized platform. This has significantly reduced the time and effort our IT team spends on device setup, security, and maintenance.

Jumpcloud's features need to be improved but their cloud-based AD is great.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the cloud-based platform and the ease of managing multiple devices regardless of OS. They have features that works for most organizations and offer open-source/plenty of customizable options.
What do you dislike about the product?
The constant prompts to sign into JC. You are forced to sign into each individual Office application. Also their MFA feature does not play well with mobile apps. For instance, the Outlook app has issues successfully signing in when using an MFA app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am unsure of what problems JC is actively working to fix.

Very nice product to centralize IDM and MDM for small and mid size companies

  • October 28, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I live that I can include MDM and IDM in one tool, without having to go the microsoft way. It works great with a diverse pool of devices and is not tied to any of them.
The tool is updated on a constant basis and it is easy to use and to implement.
I have used it both for a company of 150 to a company of 1500, so it scales well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to nest groups inside groups.
Remote desktop option, though it works, can be a bit laggy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WE can use one tool to centralize IDM and tie it to the MDM and loging to the machines for windows, mac and Linux. Very easy to manage the devices this way. We are in the process of making it our primary SSO as well.
