JumpCloud offers an all-in-one solution, providing ease of use from onboarding new users to managing app access with robust security. It’s an ideal platform for remote and hybrid work environments, backed by excellent customer support to ensure smooth operations.

What do you like best about the product?
We've been using JumpCloud for two years, and what really stands out is how well it handles identity and access management across different platforms. Our environment includes Windows, macOS, and Linux, and JumpCloud allows us to manage everything from one place without hassle.
The SSO and MFA features are solid, helping us keep security tight without overcomplicating things. Another thing worth mentioning is JumpCloud’s support team—every time we've had a question, they've been quick to respond and super helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up JumpCloud for Windows devices wasn’t as smooth as we expected. The USB boot key process gave us some trouble, and it took a bit of troubleshooting to get things up and running. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but I’d love to see improvements in that area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before JumpCloud, managing devices across different operating systems was a headache. Their MDM features have completely changed the way we handle updates, security policies, and app deployments. Now, we can push updates remotely, ensure security compliance, and monitor all our devices without physically touching them.
The biggest benefit? We save a ton of time—what used to take hours now happens in the background while we focus on bigger priorities. Knowing that our devices are always secure and compliant gives us peace of mind, and that’s invaluable.

Useful SSO MDM tool
What do you like best about the product?
Their MDM solution and SSO solution is dead simple to use. For a person not dedicatedly working in IT, can manage company IT side by side. Additionally they have APIs so you can achieve to create automations to make life easier. Currently all our computers are running Jumpcloud and all our internal portals are powered by Jumpcloud SSO.
What do you dislike about the product?
Instances are there where the web UI hasn't worked perfectly, in those ends it can approve. Some features like binding device work and sometimes doesn't. Would love if jumpcloud creates a zero touch MDM solution to do this automatically
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a central solution to manage our access management to internal portals + wanted to open those portals only on devices which we own. Our MDM + SSO solution + Access management all is handled on Jumpcldouf itself.

User and Group Management: Setting up users, managing user attributes, and grouping users based on departments, roles, or other requirements for easy administration and policy enforcement.

Sync Delays and Performance: Since JumpCloud is cloud-based, users sometimes report occasional sync delays, especially when working with integrations like Active Directory. This can create lag in updates or password changes across platforms, which can be frustrating in a fast-paced environment.

Automation and Scripting: Familiarity with the JumpCloud PowerShell Module or API to automate user provisioning, policy changes, or bulk updates.

IT support multiple platform such as Windows, Linux and Mac.The UI is supereasy to understand for managing users and devices. It also support different policy such as USB Blocking, Encryption etc
We can also manage onboarding and offboarding from Jumpcloud and remotely also wipe the device incase the laptop is stolen or lost.
The other best feature is choclatey which help to push the default software remotely on jumpcloud devices. Best thing is about the prompt jumcloud support. You can expect reply from them within 30 min from the team.

What do you dislike about the product?
Jumpcloud MDM works properly on Android device but not on IOS devices. The conditional policy were not working during the testing.
However their developer are working and upgrading the features. Hence expected to work soon for MDM.
