Complete, innovative and easy to use 360 SEO tool
What do you like best about the product?
Lots of reports help analyze and correlate various metrics. Through realKeywords, siteCrawler and logAnalyzer we can see the SEO full-funnel view which supports our decision-making and SEO strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, there is a limit on custom extraction rules

Botify is helping us understand the impact of our SEO projects from crawling, indexing and ranking point of view.

Handy tool for enterprise scale monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
Helpful alerts and insights into how search engines access (or not) a website at scale. The additional log-file analyser tool is also super handy, with the ability to automate log-file feeds into the platform for analysis saves hours!
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool itself is great, however the promised support and assistance from the team is minimal. We've found the SEO insights offered in QBRs are really only fit for smaller businesses and don't meet the mark for an enterprise level operation. When proactively reached out to however, they're lovely and helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Botify mainly for time-saving purposes, allowing insights and issues to be flagged automatically for actioning.
Great software that connects the dots
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to linkt different sources, like search console, access logs and google analytics and connect them to botify crawler data to get real insight into the effect of certain changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is rather complex. There are a lot of features and the reporting formats are endless. This gives a lot of flexibility but also makes it sometimes difficult to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Botify gives detailed insights and direction in the world of Search Engine Optimization. It helps to define technical SEO issues and pinpoint improvements to rank higher.
Excellent product with outstanding support.
What do you like best about the product?
It gives me the data I need to plan and execute complex technical SEO issues, optimize crawl budget, and more. The support is second to none out of any SEO platform I've used, with a dedicated team always ready to help dig into the newest problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Price is prohibitive to use on smaller teams, which may make it harder to onboard. There is a learning curve to the platform, but once you get it concepts tend to carry over to most sections of the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Botify is helping to give me a more complete picture of enormous sites that tools like Screaming Frog or Sitebulb cannot manage well over time. This allows me to spend less time managing crawls and more time making positive impact to our SEO value.
Botify is a big help for big sites
What do you like best about the product?
Getting a clear picture of the SEO health and opportunities of a large website is critical. Botify is one of the only tools on the market that provides those insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can take a lot of practice to get comfortable navigating Botify - both the language they use (and sometimes change) and the actual layers of the tool. More easily accessed definitions across the tool would be a huge help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Botify helps us monitor important SEO aspects of our large website, which we can't do with most other tools or by manual review. We most use the tool to get a bird's eye view of our internal linking structure and meta data opportunities.
While parts of Botify feel a little clunky, I do like what I can do with the tool

It can be hard to figure out where to go within Botify to get what you want on your own

It shows me how many people go to certain links on a page. That helps us determine the user journey better.

Great platform with SO MUCH information!
What do you like best about the product?
There is so much information available on the platform. Our website structure is pretty flat, so using the segment editor is great to separate different parts of the website.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a little bit of a learning curve to find what you're looking for and using the filters, but once you figure it out, it's easier to use!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can see our entire site as a whole, and still dig in deep to where our issues are living. We have the flexibility to test changes in robots.txt, and export useful excel sheets that are actionable.
Incredible SEO Insights
What do you like best about the product?
The best parts of Botify for my use are the Keywords Explorer features. This allows me to get a granular breakdown of the top performing search keywords that my site matches on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the Botify API is great for integrating into our systems, it does have some shortcomings. The documentation isn't as thorough as it could be (especially around dimensions & metrics), and the rate limits aren't completely accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Botify has helped me create a pipeline to query top keywords from Google Search Console, and inject those top keywords directly into the meta titles & descriptions on pages directly.

It is intuitive and offers fantastic ways to manipulate data in an easy win consise way
What do you dislike about the product?
The color scheme is unprofessional when taking screenshots for presentations to upper management and does not seem as trustworthy or colors.

It is solving for performance management, trends, seasonality, and understanding what google is crawling.
