Wrike is the full project management experience,.

What do you like best about the product?
Wrike has a lot of tools, and to name one as the best is hard.
But for me, I have to say is the tasks - subtasks with dependencies, and the time tracking. This is what I always look for in a good project manager.
The time-line report was very appreciated by my superior, he could see everything we were doing at once.
The Print a project was really good, but limited for us.
The folder and project was awesome for us, because we have so many projects at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
My critic goes to the constant e-mails on everything that happens in a task or subtask.
And I want to print a task with the subtask history with it, we want to print the project and come the Tasks and Subtask all in one place, not having to print and gather every page together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I solve the caos on which project was more important, and how to dismantle the project in little tasks.

We still look for the most easy going project manager, and Wrike was a little overwhelming at the beginning, but everyone on the team got it real fast, and in two days, we were up and running with wrike on PC, and Mobile.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Wrike can be a great tool for your managing projects problems. The free account is good, but the main features that I needed, is only available paying.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have any criticism of wrike.

Streamlining processes like opening work orders, proofing/edits and approvals.

Good program for tracking productively

  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that, as long as I am keeping up with notes, my manager can easily track and see that I am being productive. She can go into my tasks and see where I am and where I may need her intervention.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know there is a requests portal but its geared toward creative assets. I work in financial compliance and would need a request module for reports, paperwork etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking productivity in a position which does not necessarily produce a "product".

Wrike Review

  • June 14, 2017
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Wrike is a great system for managing a large number of projects, on a team with a lot of different balls moving and people's jobs are all different/need to be managed differently. It works best when one person (i.e. project manager) is the expert in Wrike and can help the rest of the company maneuver its intricacies. One really cool feature on Wrike is the tagging/social media features. You can tag your friends/coworkers (@katespence) and they get a notification to come look at whatever you tagged them in.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's pretty hard to share project pages by copying a url because of the pop up boxes. It's also really easy to get lost in the depths of wrike - if you have a lot of tasks being assigned to different coworkers, there are tons of options available on the sides that you can easily get lost in. I have found a few ways to stay focused on my tasks, but still get lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wrike is our main project management tool. It helps keep us organized, keep a bird's eye view on everything, and communicate quickly and easily about projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make it more user friendly. Get rid of the pop up boxes when you click on a project. Make the inbox way easier to manage/get around. Make "My Work" tab easier to differentiate between projects.

Pschyed about Wrike

What do you like best about the product?
Wrike is great for managing a lot of different projects with a lot of different people. Our office uses this to stay on track every Monday morning in our weekly team meeting. I really like that within Wrike, you can create a project, and multiple sub-tasks within that project. I also really like the "upload attachment" feature, which makes it easy to see what tasks are related to what documents, rather than getting lost in emails. Finally, the dates on the tasks are helpful (when I remember to set them and pay attention to them) and the fact that I get a To Do list emailed to me with those dates prioritized is also very helpful for my day to day planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I forget to use the Time Tracking feature! I also dislike that when I get an email update from Wrike when someone else is editing a task, etc, it is sometimes hard to match up what I read in the email versus what I see on Wrike. Finally, I often find it hard to locate certain tasks if they have been moved or marked inactive or some other label by other teammates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of getting off track or losing track of projects. We've realized the benefits of this online, team and project management platform by using Wrike everyday! We are also using the time tracking feature to see what tasks take more time than others to aid in planning going forward.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Wrike is great just be careful if you have too much going on. Also beware, there is a steep learning curve.

A game changer

What do you like best about the product?
the tool is very flexible and easy to understand. The online support is awesome and it is full of how-to videos that let you start using the tool quickly. It really helped my team to start a new way of collaborating and improved our delivery time and reduced the meeting hours spent to check project updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
The two thing I feel are missing are:
- to automatically export report in pdf format and email them. Every morning I need to log in and check the reporting system. I would prefer to receive a ready to print report in my email inbox.

- a more flexible request from builder that let us to prepare forms that can be integrated in other website pages respecting the look and feel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team collaboration is improved a lot.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try.

Full featured but complex interface

What do you like best about the product?
Interoperability with Box and other web apps. Full features,
What do you dislike about the product?
Steep learning curve, the fact that the solution offers a lot of options can be also be confusing for uninitiated users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Too many siloed lines of business, lack of visibility of all projects happening throughout the organization. Allowed users from various departments to collaborate and see each other's progress.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Wrike is suitable for users who are familiar with PM software. For the newbies, it is a tough sell, Trello seems to have more traction.

Project Management just got easier

What do you like best about the product?
This is a fantastic software to use for any project management needs. It makes communicating and managing projects with your team easy. It's not hard to learn and it's pretty customizable depending on how you wish to set it up. We started using Wrike for everything and it makes managing team projects, tasks, and to-do lists so much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's unique from other project management systems but it offers so much more, so it can take some getting used to in the beginning. Once you get past the learning curve, you're in for a treat.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All our projects are put in Wrike - so everything we do in our department is running through this platform. It's strengthening our team communication and organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take advantage of all this has to offer. You can use it for managing and organizing personal tasks and projects in addition to team projects. You can also use it to track your time if your time is billable for clients.

Effective, but not very easy on the eyes

  • May 24, 2017
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very well thought out functionality. On the enterprise tier, the ability to create new custom fields is extremely valuable.

The various views for looking at your projects is great. They can be viewed as a list, in a timeline, in a workload (think resource management) view, and on boards similar to Trello. Very robust in that department.

Great customer support and documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface leaves something to be desired for. It's years behind the likes of Asana and the various other project management tools. In addition, the mobile-app is lack luster. Don't expect to use Wrike on anything except your Computer or Tablet.

It is a very feature-packed tool. There is a LOT to know, and you'll continue to learn new features for the first year you're using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, time tracking, resource allocation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do your research ahead of time. Be ready for growing pains and read as much as you can. It's a feature-packed product and required due-diligence.

A Great Project Management Tool

  • May 10, 2017
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to invite any contact to contribute to a project with no need for permission controls. The interface for most users has proven very intuitive with very little time needed to show a new user around (see dislikes).
The interface allows for multiple ways to view tasks in a project and timelines for those involved, meaning that different users can get the information relevant to them easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Whilst the interface is effective, and initially quite intuitive, deeper views and settings can become very complex. It's difficult to see how this could be improved as it's the nature of dealing with multiple projects like this. It's a powerful tool but it comes with a lot of potential complexity that isn't always the easiest to get through. That said, viewing a single project and its detail is relatively simple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're a small team that deals with a lot of projects and multiple contractors and departments. The main aim was to improve the transparency of our work, enabling departments/management outside of IT Services to see the work and timelines of our projects. It's also serving to highlight future plans to show what the various projects are heading towards.
The ability to invite other users outside of the department into individual projects has proven invaluable, keeping all records of correspondence in one place.
