Good supplementary tool to use in addition to other programs

  • February 15, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to attach documents and relevant links, the ability to add followers to a task, and being able to assign a task to someone on the team. It also helps to see tasks by due date, and see the history of a task/thread.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user experience can be pretty clunky. Not being able to edit "comments" is pretty frustrating. And trying to follow coworkers' boards/threads needs a serious upgrade.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Honestly, one of the biggest benefits is having my coworkers use Wrike as their own to-do list so they can stay on top of their own tasks without things falling into the ether! Personal organization of work tasks seems to be the biggest business problem solved in using Wrike.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Wrike really seems best used if a company can't afford a more robust tool like Evernote or JIRA. For my company's use, it seemed redundant as we had JIRA. But Wrike does work well to keep coworkers/employees organized and on-task.

Using the "add follower" tool was really helpful to keep team members updated and current on various tasks.

Good service, could be more user friendly

  • February 15, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to stack tracks into folders at any level of task management. It functions much like asana, which I find to be a major plus. Though, it doesn't have the speed and ui of asana, and that was what ultimately made a switch back.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few features were really bothersome.. First the order of tasks was Counterintuitive (and not in a good way.) when writing tasks in a list the program ordered from bottom to top instead of from top to bottom.... Because we were writing step by step systems this feature drove us crazy! Also, I think the speed could be better... It felt clunky at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management for a diverse group with a lot of moving parts..
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely worth the try... Especially If nested folders is necessary.

Wrike helps our team stay on top of projects

  • February 14, 2017
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Every project is in one place for the team to see, comment, and work from.
What do you dislike about the product?
You've got to go into Wrike everyday to make it useful. If you don't use it, or if your team doesn't use it then the system falls. We need to stay on top of individuals to keep using it and updating their projects status.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wrike helps us stay on top of all of our projects without the endless email chains. We can communicate within Wrike and keep track of questions and concerns. We can even share files within it.

NOT Your Grandfather's MS Project

  • February 09, 2017
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Wrike is very flexible, which is a nice break from the rigid world of MS Project. It has an excellent mobile app, ties in nicely with email flows and is a 'non-threatening' way to bring reticent members of the organization onboard with the idea of task/project management
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is a bit hefty, and doesn't compare extremely well with similar competitors. Request forms need more robust mapping capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a large pile of projects to manage in IT, and we've been able to bring some degree of order and sanity to them with Wrike. I go to Wrike as my 'sanity checker' several times per day. We've also pulled in helpdesk tickets and a couple other workflows in via request forms, and that's been going very well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
think carefully about who will use it for what purposes, because you may need to be judicious when allocating funds for roll out.

What do you like best about the product?
It's useful for collaboration on projects and keeping everybody up to date.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features are not very intuitive and it can be hard to find what you're looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of progress on multiple projects. Collaborating with coworkers. It's a convenient place to store information that's accessible to other people.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out first to see if you like it.

Easy Interface, Intuitive design

  • February 07, 2017
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is easy to navigate. Creating tasks, folders and projects is very intuitive. The total package of features is useful for most common projects, but is not useful for extremely complicated projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it is generally quite intuitive some features were difficult to figure out such as linking tasks and correlating them to the timeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We did not have a formal project management system. We have realized more efficient processes and better team communication. In addition, we are getting products to market more quickly because we can clear up any hanging tasks.

Wrike is a Great Tool for Team Project Collaboration

  • January 31, 2017
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Wrike does a great job of allowing quick and easy project item adjustment and completion as well as using the timeline view to see the project from a "top-down" view. The email-to-project feature also provides an additional way of getting content into the project for refinement later.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit tedious to set up large repetitious projects, and is a bit "chatty" when doing so since it sends out the initial email assignments en masse. Once a project is set up, it works very well, its just the setup phase that seems to be a little tedious for large and complex project plans that are repeated consecutively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed an application that would allow us to track large projects from start to finish with multiple dependencies. Wrike has allowed us to do that.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I believe that Wrike has some very good ideas on project management. I think that anyone considering the software should lay out a few examples of their repetitive tasks as well as their most complicated processes and see if they are a good fit for doing those long-term repeatedly. There is rarely a perfect software and generally processes have to be adjusted to fit the tool to some degree, but those two dimensions should help any organization determine if this is going to be an ideal solution for them. Once entered the Timeline and Dashboard views can be reviewed to see the user interface aspects.

Wrike - One of the best Online Project Management Tool

  • January 28, 2017
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
User interface is really good. You can customise the board as you want and the best part is that every user has the flexibility to customise the board as per their need. Wrike main USP is - it is FREE FOR FIRST 5 USERS. So we can use it for free, explore all its capabilities and then go for the paid upgrade.
What do you dislike about the product?
The flow can be refined more to enrich the end user experience. Apart from this, I don't think there is anything which you can dislike about Wrike. Its clean, simple, easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem which a business suffers is transparency of tasks which are being done. With Wrike, this problem gets solved. You get to see which task the team is working and what is the status of each task.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are struggling to have transparency in your project and your timelines are always getting missed just because you are not able to track the progress, then Wrike is the required tool for project management which you need. Its simple, robust and IT"s FREE FOR FIRST 5 USERS!

Great task management for small to medium business

  • January 27, 2017
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There are several major things I like about Wike. The first is that there is a LOT of integrations with other programs we use in our business such as: Dropbox, Google Drive, Hubspot, Wordpress, Gmail, etc. The second is the ease of use. I've tried several different programs similar to Wrike and it is certainly the easiest for users to pick up and use.

It's also extremely fast, unlike a lot of cloud based products I've never had an issue with load speed and when you're dealing with a lot of data entry this helps considerably.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I've found that I dislike about Wrike is that sometime the customer support can take a little while to get a hold of. My account had an expired credit card on it and perhaps because of some miscommunication it took over a week to get it back and working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project and time management are the biggest issues we are solving. We can only keep up so well using Excel spreadsheets and gantt charts to get things done. Wrike allows everyone to collaborate easily and let admins have the ability to see everything that is going on with a project.

The biggest benefit is just seeing projects actually finishing on time with considerable accuracy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Wrike is definitely worth paying for, items such as subtasks will make your life a lot easier. If you have users of varying backgrounds (not all IT) then Wrike is a godsend since it's ease of use is high.
