Great Tool for Remote Teams

  • April 22, 2016
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It allows us to coordinate projects with team members all over the country.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first it can be a little confusing but it doesn't take too long to understand the interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have different people located throughout the country working on the same product and Wrike allows us to stay in touch on where each person's responsibilities stand.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Everyone on the team needs to commit to using it if you are going to use it for team projects. This can be difficult when you bring new team members on so be sure to get them training on it right away.

Powerful App - Needs To Be Polished Up

  • April 08, 2016
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- The raw simplicity and power that it is based on. When looking for a project management platform we found Wrike to be the least constricting versus the other major platforms.
- The sharing ability is great. I manage my personal life and 2 different companies in Wrike. I can choose what tasks I want to share. Wrike even makes it easy to switch between multiple accounts (I tried this, but I ended up just using one account and creating specific folders for each aspect)
What do you dislike about the product?
- The interface and design. It was OK when we started using it...but they really haven't done much and there are some small annoyances that haven't been changed forever. It feels like a team of engineers built this beautiful product, but they don't have any talented designers to really let the customer connect with it.
- Their "Wrike Club" (lame rewards program) icons that clutter up the interface. When I am paying for software I don't want your clutter.
- Mobile apps. Although greatly improved upon in the last year...it still doesn't mesh really well with the desktop client and it isn't to the point to where I use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Managing multiple projects and responsibilities throughout our organization. Wrike has been flexible enough to allow us to run multiple areas of our business inside of it. Wrike has allowed us to freely communicate on tasks and projects in a much more organized fashion.
- Communicating with contractors. Since Wrike allows free collaborators we require all of our contractors to use Wrike and we share the needed folders and/or projects. We use Wrike as the hub of all communication for tasks and projects and everyone is much more in the loop.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
- If you are someone who really has a plan with how to use apps like this, and you don't want to feel like you are in a corner, Wrike was one of the best products I could find.

- The interface and usability do not feel very modern, its not horrible. Just OK.

Wrike Review -

  • April 07, 2016

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can have tasks broken down by how they are assigned and to who.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search function can be a little un-user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving our "he said; she said"! Wrike tracks everything and makes it easy to go back and check the accounts of the task and who made the accounts! It's fantastic. Never lost in "email black holes".
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think about the tools you currently use and evaluate if a tracking system is best for your projects. Do you currently use spreadsheets and email to communicate? This makes it easy from anywhere to anyone who has the access. You can make folders private to each team; or make them public depending on what your project is. You can assign and un-assign easily. There has not appeared to be any loss of project management in my 1-1/2 years of using this program.

Wrike saved the day!

What do you like best about the product?
Wrike is...awesome! I was a longtime Asana user, but found that wrike had all the missing features that was frustrating me with asana, namely some structure. The nested folder approach to wrike organization makes my life so much easier. It allows me to narrow in on the details of a small project, while also seeing the big picture of where we're going all at once - something I desperately needed. Wrike is great for tasks, planning, assigning teammates, overall project management...not to mention the UI is beautiful. Kudos!
What do you dislike about the product?
Here's what I wish was different:

*New tasks coming in below the previous task (wish new tasks would be listed from top to bottom as I think of them...)
*A way to create a new task with a keyboard shortcut and it showing up directly beneath the task you're working on -- instead of having to scroll to the very top of the project. (similar to asana functionality)
*A keyboard shortcut to create new project/folder (Sometimes this project felt very tedious because the program tended to lag.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
*project management
*team collaboration
*multi-business vision
*Task Management
*overall business organization
*timekeeping
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Wrike has been awesome from day one! The support team is fantastic and the features are an improvement over any other project management software we've used in the past.

Wrike for President!

What do you like best about the product?
What I love best about Wrike is how intutive it is. I don't feel that there's much of a learning curve and their onboarding videos that'll take you from a novice to the more advanced features are extremely helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as what I dislike, maybe I can't think of anything yet. I've played with reporting twice and would say there's room for development there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing upcoming marketing, design and production tasks. Benefits is how easy it is so collaborate and keep track of past, current and upcoming projects. Since started using Wrike, we've been a lot more efficient, I'd like to think. Additionally the fact that there's a FREE version is amazing... to enjoy it's full potential though would recommend going beyond the free version.

We're finished looking

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive interface. Ease of collaboration. We've used Wrike for just over 3 years. Team of 7, most working remotely. We have about 100 active projects with around 1000 tasks & subtasks. Wrike keeps us all on the same page. We also invite clients as collaborators and assign them tasks. We've not had anyone complain yet. Actually, a couple of our clients now use Wrike themselves after their experience with us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes comment threads are difficult to follow, especially when they get long. Wrike automatically collapses them. But, this might just be a setting I haven't discovered yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, internal & external communication. Keeps us on tasks, accountable, and aware of where we're at with the big picture.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There's a free version. That's all you need to try it out.

Wrike Review.

  • January 08, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that it's impresively user friendly. It's almost like a social network for project planning where. It also has the advantage that it has a lot of project management tools rolled into one platform. Another aspect I like about Wrike is the fact that it's very compatible with google apps, sharing google docs, calendar and email notifications is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the fact that in some ocations the platform itself gets a little strange when you modify the size of the page. For example, when I try to resize the window in order to have access to another window with information I need to input into wrike, the platform doesn't respond as well with scrolling and viewing tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When organizing a project with different people involved it becomes much easier to identify dependencies and asign workload. It's also a great way to organize activities and projects in terms of the companies structure, weather it be groups such as Marketing, Finance, etc. or something different. One final important thing that I would like to point out is that everything becomes transparent, as you can see the status of the task, track it, see how people are reacting to it and modify it, it's almost as if wrike can work as a personal notebook as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a high tempo, transparent and social way of working Wrike is right for you. It may be difficult for some people from some generations or different mindsets to adapt to it, but it general it's great.

Outstanding Project Collaboration and Management System

  • November 24, 2015
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Wrike allows the me to manage 800 to 1000 tasks quick and easily all in one place. Also I love the timeline feature that connects different tasks together, so when you move a date, all the tasks connected to that tasks are automatically updated.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that it takes so long for a company to adopt this program and use it to its full potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems being solved with Wrike is that less and less details that are important to a project fall through the cracks which helps improve product to market release time. In addition, the timeline is more accurate because the dates change in real time based on the individual tasks schedule ties directing to the timeline. This save me time from having to manually change each project timeline like I did in MS Projects.
Also reporting is easier and quicker because WRIKE has a good report function and can auto send out monthly reports.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have the support of all department heads before you deploy this system in your company. This will improve the adoption process.

Positive experience managing tasks

  • November 06, 2014
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to add and adjust tasks, both for myself and team members. Love being able to forward emails into Wrike.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adjusting dues dates sometimes feels a bit strange (can't put my finger on it) but it ultimately works. They have some weird suggested usage, such as trying to use Wrike as CRM. Not a good fit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Assigning and tracking tasks for myself and team members.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good evaluation period. Try it out.
