Codesignal is for me so far the best way to start coding in a new chosen language.
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is addictive, the challenges stuck in dour brain until you cannot get through them. Some exercises repeat itself, and eventually one remembers the xyntax perfectly by heart.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some basic debugging option would be usefule sometimes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far I am at the end of rhe intro Arcade exercises as I just strted python. I want to go through all the python projects.
Code Immersion!
What do you like best about the product?
Seeing others' creative solutions. I am pretty inexperienced at programming so it's really nice to complete a problem and then look at other people's solutions and seeing how it could be done better. It allows me to immerse myself in code, which is the best way for me to improve.
What do you dislike about the product?
People shorthand and teach bad habits. Some of the solutions on CodeSignal seem extremely shorthanded to see how short they can make their code and it teaches some bad habits OR it is very hard to decipher and hard to learn from. The good news is allowing community members to vote on favorite solutions sends other good solutions to the top as well as these.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to practice a lot of JavaScript (ES6+) and C#. Its a great place to try to practice syntax for different languages. I also like to use the community challenges which oddly enough incentivizes me to look at other languages to see which languages handle certain problems exceptionally well.
Great assessments
What do you like best about the product?
The assessment platform is phenomenal. Generates a very accurate signal for skills especially with new grad candidates. I've also used it with more senior candidates and it can work well there too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Expanding to information security and system design would be a great addition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automatically evaluating technical skills of engineering candidates.
A really fun way to learn and challenge your friends
What do you like best about the product?
The customizable IDE and the good-looking UI makes the coding enjoyable (even addictive) while the big community and variety of tasks allow you to learn new tricks from other developers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you could experience some lagging when submitting your code during tournaments and the algorithm that chooses the tasks to solve may be a little predictable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My colleagues and I use it 15-30 minutes a day in our spare time to learn from each other and remember the basics of algorithms. Also I would love to use it in coding interviews.
Simple but effective
What do you like best about the product?
I like many aspects of CodeSignal but for me, the best is the arcade.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't find the T-shirt that they sell with points. Perhaps because they got renamed. I'd like to see more CodeSignal goodies in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving easy to medium algorithm problems in the moment. I'm getting better in solving algorithm problems, esp. the easy ones. Also, it helped me improve my python skills.
Great platform
What do you like best about the product?
Codesignal has a great exercising environment for programmers of almost all languages. It’s fun as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would look forward to find a 1 vs 1 function to challenge a friend
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s great to quickly get familiar with your language again
One of the best platform by which i learned a lot.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing i found here, is the minimum character count based ranking and that helped me to learn too much about JavaScript.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside i found is why you guys have disabled the copy paste option there?, i don't know the reason :(.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I really love to work in this tournaments and daily challenges.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Add more advanced questions in daily challenges. Some times the questions are seems to be repeating.
Best website to build up a coding habit
What do you like best about the product?
I love the Arcade mode where you can learn and practice coding in your favorite programming language every day and turn it into a habit. I even could get my girlfriend interested in programming.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few exercises at the higher levels of the Arcade mode sometimes have an unclear task description. Also some test cases don't match with the description.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have started to write programs in Python for my real job, although the job actually is completely unrelated to coding. The coding skills that I learnt with CodeSignal have really helped me to "automate the boring stuff" and get my work done more quickly. It's a great place to see how other people solve problems and learn from them.

Check it out!
Great resource for online coding practice
What do you like best about the product?
Arguably the best online IDE of all the interview prep resources. It doesn't get in your way, it works the way a normal editor works (ie, it doesn't mess up the indents every single time - looking at you LeetCode). The layout is also very intuitive, easy to understand and doesn't distract you (as compared to something like HackerRank for example).
The interview practice is a fun way to tackle coding problems, and so are the company challenges. The tournament feature is really fun when you compete with other people around the world as well.

What do you dislike about the product?
Back when it was still called CodeFights, it had a feature to go head-to-head against bots and other users which was a really fun way to test your skills and see how you stack up against other people from around the world (especially when it came to the 'free coding' tasks).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CodeSignal succeeds in making coding practice fun. I can spend hours just going through the Arcade mode or the Company Challenges and not feel like I'm doing something monotonous.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
CodeSignal has recently taking a turn towards focusing more on interview preparation and actually integrating with companies which I think is a good way to tap into the online community using the site. Even if you aren't looking for a job, it's just a fun way to go through the challenges.
Great UX
What do you like best about the product?
It actually feels very fluent using Codesignal. The UX is perfect and the challenges are pretty great for their given level.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no newbie-friendly intro. The platform can not really be used to start as a coder. It does not have the tutorialish / educational touch to it but rather challenges for you to learn new things through googling on your own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I know JS pretty well but I started coding on CodeSignal to learn Java as I managed to land a job that needs it and I have no prior experience with it. It actually helps me shift to thinking in Java rather than Javascript pretty damn well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure that you understand the basics of coding before entering the world of CodeSignal.
