Best coding self teaching experience that you can find
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is intuitive and easy to use. The type of problems that you can find there fits every need, from begineer to experienced coders. The gaming-like experience tops everything.
The off-platform features that you have integrated in the past are great. The videos on facebook sharing the solutions for certain problems have filled the gap between intepreting a piece of code and understanding it as a whole.

What do you dislike about the product?
That sometimes I can't solve the problems or all the hidden test... but that's not on you guys.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the platform to leave automated homework to my programing students.
Since I have done this, I’ve saved around 80% of the time that I invested on grading the homework! The downside for my students is that they don’t get the ‘why it didn’t work’ comment, I offer them the ‘kind-of-official solution’ and encourage them to compare it to their code and find themselves the ‘whys’, so the downside becomes a learning challenge for them.
Additionally, my students have a vast set of problems to practice their new knowledge, unfortunately, apathy and meeting the bare minimum gets the best of them. The reality is that the sky is the limit with all the content that you can use in CodeSignal.

Intuitive and interesting questions
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the questions were misspelled
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
learning, discovering new scopes, and I as a beginner helped a lot to know what to use and when to use
Great platform for developers to improve coding skills
What do you like best about the product?
I like the environment of the application, the user interface is very easy and understandable, interesting atmosphere. Daily challenges are great way to keep users return every day, and solve at least 1-2 tasks in a day.
What do you dislike about the product?
CodeSignal gives everything it designed for, but I don't know why I get the feeling that it could be even better. Maybe if there'll be some new interesting features, more powerful navigation systems. Also I would like to see more advanced filters when searching people or reviewing tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improving my developer skills, exploring new ways of solving different problems. As a self taught developer, while solving different problems in CodeSignal I had to deal with algorithms and data types, which I never dealt before.
Great choice for honing your programmin skills
What do you like best about the product?
That I can do it from anywhere if I have a web browser. Not need to install any software such as a source code editor or the SDk for the language(s) of your choice.
What do you dislike about the product?
The editing pane is not as full featured as I would like. Yes, it supports copy/cut/paste, delete line, and so forth. But there doesn't seem to be any way to search and replace text; I normally just copy the code into an editor, do my thang, and then post it back into codesignal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My job involves programming in Java. Until recently, my set of languages did not include Python 3. As I'm learning that learning that language, I find I can apply the knowledge to solve problems that other people dream up (not just me).
Great site for programming exercises and problems
What do you like best about the product?
- Great number of available languages
- Code golfing daily challenges
- Good company interview questions
- Good web-based code editor

What do you dislike about the product?
- Outside of checking the answers for correctness and code size, there could be some time and memory rankings to check the most efficient answers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are planning on using it for initial screening of candidates. Right now I'm using it on a personal basis.
A nice brush up for interviews.
What do you like best about the product?
The main point of the exercises is to find any solution that works, with any code language. Really helps you understand the logic behind your own solution! The ease of switching between languages definitely increased my satisfaction with the experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't run into any problems with the system yet. Really intuitive coding environment. Maybe allow multi-line editing, and moving entire lines with the help of "ctrl". Tabbing worked pretty well, along with next line indentations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I really enjoy the interview preparation. It really helps gage the level of expertise expected during the interview process for big tech companies.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool that anyone who is needs a quick brush up should use.
Best Coding Challenge Screening Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I have received more than 20 coding challenge links from tech companies, so I've used a lot of other platforms. This is the best by far. Best UI/UX, and especially great testing experience. During a phone interview, I really like that I can use built-in test features as well as the console for testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have zero complaint about this platform. I've had bad experiences with other platforms when doing phone interviews with some of the hottest medium-size companies. I really hope someday they can switch to this platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I solve coding challenges sent out by companies, also writing code during phone interviews.
CodeSignal is an excellent platform
What do you like best about the product?
The site is very easy to use and offers a lot of features for those looking to sharpen their programming skills from beginner to advanced
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it annoying when other users post solutions in the comments. I'd be nice to see more of those types of comments auto-moderated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CodeSignal has helped me prepare for a future job interview
Good place to hone your programming skills
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the the amount of thought and work that was put into making the experience at CodeSignal a very pleasant one. From allowing the code editor to emulate your favorite text editor to the well thought out progression of the interview practices to the challenging arcade, one can easily lose a whole afternoon at the programming site.
What do you dislike about the product?
The daily challenges seems to have lost quality recently. Not nearly as challenging as before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has keep my programming skills sharp. Whether id DP, data structures, backtracking, this application will keep you skills up to date.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good place to sharpen to programming skills.
Best platform to practice your skills
What do you like best about the product?
UI and IDE are very user friendly, but in my opinion the main advantages of the platform for the end user are content, well-structured sections and community (forum, discussions/comments for each problem).
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think that there are any downsides. I would like to see more problems in the "Arcade" and "Interview Practice" sections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The service helped me prepare for the real coding interview. In addition, solving interesting and challenging problems in various formats (Tournaments, Arcade, Company Challenges ...) allows me to stay in shape.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Everyone will find something interesting and useful. You can really improve/boost coding and algorithmic thinking skills. You can learn new things and have a fun time, especially in the “Tournaments”.
