Very useful to analyze business and projects

I like That you can subdivide time by projects and users

I wish It would have a desktop widget I can Keep up in the corner so it makes it easier to change projects I'm working on

I'm freelance and I work alone, I use timecamp, the free version, I use it every day, for a few months I looked for other tools that suited me better but I went back to timecamp, because it's practical and easy to use

There could be more functions for professionals who work freelance, to avoid having to control the job in two or three pieces of software, it would be interesting to have tools for those who work individually

Using Time Camp for 2 years
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using TimeCamp for two years on a daily basis to track my time for reporting and billing for my clients. I am a graphic/web designer. It was easy to set up. I have it integrated with Google calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have liked using this tool. The reports portion was tricky to get started with. I had to do some extra work to get it to integrate with ToDoist.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accurate billing and reporting for my clients.

I cant see any downsides really its fully customisable so if you do not like something you can just change it.

Powerful tracking time tools, very usefull reports
What do you like best about the product?
Our team, made up of around 70 people, has quickly adapted to the use of TimeCamp; becoming very easy to use for regular users.
• Thanks to the ease of charging the hourly costs of our collaborators, we can obtain very precise information about the value of each project on which the teams work.
• With the different reports on the platform, we have a very clear example of how the design, audio and editor teams are investing their time.
• The additional expenses tool will help us further detail the cost of each project on which the Audiovisual Production area works.
• The computer Activities Module, as well as daily reports, allow each user to have a clear view of how they use their work time, so that, if necessary, they can improve areas of opportunity regarding their use.
• The TimeCamp Projects section has structured us to allow and organize the projects of the more than 30 clients with whom we work in the company. Monthly, we generate more than 400 projects. After 3 months of using TimeCamp, we have not experienced any problems with the platform, despite their volume.
• The attention of the TimeCamp sales advisor has been magnificent, always being on hand to resolve the different doubts and problems that have arisen.
• TimeCamp support response time is quite fast.
• TimeCamp has a wide variety of tools. Currently, we are already using the ones that were essential to us, but it has several more that can be useful according to the needs of other companies, such as GPS tracking or user monitoring through screenshots.

We've had some hiccups with the TimeCamp desktop app for app and web record. Although support has been good, ideally we would like the app to run smoothly on all users' computers.
• Our users use the platform mainly in Spanish. We have detected some spelling errors in that option or words in another language that need to be translated.
• Sometimes it is necessary to refresh the browser's web page so that information or platform changes are updated for all users.
• The users and roles panel in the projects section can be a bit visually heavy, since “by default” it displays all the users that are assigned to clients and projects.
• At first, it can be a little confusing to use the Timesheet to correctly select and track tasks. This section could be a little more intuitive for everyday use.
• Regarding use for supervisors, some steps could be reduced when generating projects, adding some more options within the configuration of the teams and users. This would help improve the interaction of supervisors within the platform.

TimeCamp is helping us to have more accurate costs in all our projects, that will gives opportunity to improve our processes to reduce costs.

Good but with issues

Easy tracking, connection to trello. Many settings
What do you dislike about the product?
- bad syncronization between pc and phone apps.
- pc app timer updates once in five minutes - very misleading
- really hard to enter time manually in browser - jumps randomly to the other digits, jumps to other part of the day. Very confusing

somtimes you can start a project and realise that timer is not running. but you just need to make sure its running...

It's easy to manage an entire team's time spent on projects, and it integrates with Monday.com easily

It can be buggy at times, but overall works wells and suits our needs.

it's an easy way for people to track their time on client and in-house work - I can see time by person as well as by project, dept, etc. Many ways to use the product - so people can use the desktop app, the monday.com integration or the browswer extension.

TimeCamp is very easy to set up and use. If you wish, it can track your time, including the use of software. The software is scalable, so it can be used by a tiny firm or by a large company. I like the support which is very timely and helpful.

I did not find anything I did not like about TimeCamp.

What do you like best about the product?
Its by far the most unintrusive software I have seen for tracking daily time. It just happily hums and goes on ding about its work in the background and lets me on with my work.
When I need to look at my habits, it clearly lets me know what I am using and which websites are useless to me and hurting my productivity. It has helped me improve my work performance and habits.

What do you dislike about the product?
I am concerned about the data that Timecamp collects regarding my browsing and search habits. There's no transparency about what is done with the data and what levels of granularity of data are available to my managers and seniors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Timecamp essentially acts as an attendance system for our organization. It avoids the unnecessary overhead of tracking everyone's work; instead, it just let's know what's happening. It facilitates improvements in workplace productivity and simplifies productivity tracking and leaves unnecessary distractions
