Grammarly: A Great writing Support Tool which Enhances Clarity, Tone and Confidence
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly has completely transformed my writing routine. It’s not just a proofreading tool—it’s a confidence booster that turns rough drafts into professional, polished pieces in real time.
As someone managing emails, reports, and proposals in a fast-paced work environment, Grammarly’s instant suggestions for grammar, clarity, and style have been a game-changer. It has cut my editing time by at least 30% and ensures I never send out an embarrassing oversight.
What sets it apart is its seamless integration across Gmail, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and web browsers. It works invisibly in the background, always ready to refine my writing. More than fixing errors, it elevates my communication—adjusting tone for client emails, enhancing readability for internal updates, and fine-tuning style for authority. I’ve even caught subtle issues like wordiness and inconsistent phrasing that I used to overlook.
Grammarly isn’t optional if you care about effective communication—it’s essential. From day one, it delivers ROI by saving time, sharpening your voice, and making every piece of writing more impactful. Highly recommended for professionals at any level.

What do you dislike about the product?
While Grammarly is powerful, a few things stand out as drawbacks. At times, it overcorrects and pushes for overly formal or “corporate” phrasing, which can flatten your natural voice—especially frustrating for creative or conversational writing. The constant upgrade prompts feel pushy, like a salesperson reminding you of features you can’t access, which gets distracting. The mobile app also lags behind the desktop/browser version: it’s clunky, misses advanced insights, and isn’t ideal for quick on-the-go edits. Lastly, the premium plan is on the expensive side compared to lighter tools like Ginger or free alternatives like LanguageTool, making it less appealing if you don’t need the full suite of advanced features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly takes the stress out of high-stakes writing by catching mistakes and polishing my communication before it reaches clients or colleagues. It’s solved three major pain points for me:
1. Grammar & Accuracy – It eliminates embarrassing slip-ups (like misused tenses or missing punctuation) that could undermine credibility in client emails or reports.
2. Clarity & Readability – Dense, jargon-filled drafts get streamlined into crisp, easy-to-digest messages, reducing back-and-forth confusion and helping me land my point the first time.
3. Efficiency & Time Savings – Acting as a real-time editor, it cuts my drafting and editing time by at least 20–30%, freeing me up for higher-value work instead of nitpicking sentences.
