Grammarly makes me sound smarter than I am!
What do you like best about the product?
Sentence structure. My spelling is usually good, but Grammarly has helped me write better and communicate more professionally. Once set up, it just works, and it works very well. I have never needed to ask for help or customer support while using the product. It just works with nearly all of my programs and devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a hard time understanding what I am saying because I work in a field with uncommon names and terms, so it often thinks I have made mistakes. I have to be careful when using the suggested edits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The tone checker is one of the best features. It helps ensure I am not coming across wrong in emails where sometimes things can be read the wrong way.
Why I use Grammarly everyday
What do you like best about the product?
Gammarly gives me the confidence to press send on emails or to publish documents. Not only does it check for common errors, it makes critical suggestions that help increase the clarity of my text. I fully appreciate the suggestions it provides even small word adjustments or to simply remind me to not use passive voice. Lastly, I appreciate the AI scanner that allows me to know if my text sounds robotic, unconvincing and mundane.
I honestly use Grammarly every day in my work and personal life. I opt to use the web browser-based software as this method preserves my original copy easier.

Grammarly Reviewed: Is This AI Editor Actually Worth Your Words?
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly excels as an AI writing assistant by offering real-time, context-aware corrections that go far beyond basic spellcheck. It seamlessly integrates across browsers, desktop apps, and mobile devices, catching grammar errors, punctuation slips, and awkward phrasing while suggesting vocabulary enhancements and tone adjustments. For students and professionals, its robust plagiarism detector (scanning 16B+ web pages) and clarity-focused rewrites significantly elevate writing quality. Premium users also gain access to generative AI tools for drafting emails, reports, or social posts, making it a versatile powerhouse for error-free, polished communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
Despite its strengths, Grammarly has notable limitations. Its free version lacks critical features like plagiarism checks, tone adjustments, and advanced style suggestions, pushing users toward Premium’s steep $12/month subscription. The tool sometimes overzealously flags correct phrasing (like passive voice in academic writing) or suggests unnatural, robotic synonyms that dilute personal voice. It also struggles with technical jargon, creative writing, or non-English phrases, leading to inaccurate corrections. Finally, the lack of offline mode and occasional lag in Google Docs disrupt workflow efficiency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly tackles the critical pain points of everyday writing by eliminating embarrassing spelling and grammar mistakes that damage credibility, clarifying vague or overly complex sentences that confuse readers, and preventing accidental plagiarism in academic or professional work. This directly benefits you by saving significant editing time (often 30-50%), ensuring your emails, documents, and posts are polished and error-free to build trust, adapting your tone to suit different audiences for more effective communication, and ultimately letting you write with greater clarity, confidence, and integrity.

A long time lover and user of Grammarly
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly integrates really well into all parts of my work systems. Using the grammar and suggestion features makes all emails, notes, and messages quick and easy to produce. I also send emails and updates to large teams, and having the gen-AI support to make sure they are professional and with the correct tone is awesome!
What do you dislike about the product?
The hardest time I have using Grammarly is when the suggestions don't match up with their word placements on the page, and it can be hard to track. This also messes up my documents because the systems don't always work together. The only other challenge I face is that when it suggests multiple changes in a sentence, I have to either accept all of the changes or manually implement the suggestions I would like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Noticing errors in my spelling, word choice and tone. I most often use it for grammar and spelling, which it helps with considerably!
