Why Grammarly Is a Must-Have for Digital Marketers
What do you like best about the product?
As a digital marketer with a writing/editing background, I didn’t think I needed Grammarly—until I tried it.
Now, it’s a core part of my workflow. It does more than fix grammar; it sharpens tone, tightens copy, and keeps everything on-brand. With built-in style guides and tone settings, it helps ensure consistency across emails, social posts, landing pages—you name it.
The AI writing assistant is a game-changer too. The more detailed the prompt, the better the copy it generates. I use it to draft marketing content fast, then refine with my own voice.

Grammarly can be overwhelming at first. There are a lot of suggestions—some helpful, some not. It takes time to tweak the settings and train the tool to understand your brand’s tone and your own preferences. But once you do, it becomes a powerful extension of your writing process.
If you write often and care about clarity, consistency, and quality, Grammarly is well worth it. Just give yourself a little time to dial it in.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly solves the problem of inconsistent tone and messaging across channels. As a digital marketer, I’m constantly creating content for emails, social, ads, and web—and each piece needs to reflect the brand voice. Grammarly helps me stay consistent, no matter the platform. It saves time, catches what I miss, and makes sure every message sounds like us.

Nothing special. It works fine. Recent upgrades removed small issues.

I am not a native English speaker and i write a lot of scientific articles

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Grammarly's ability to contextualize my writing, helping me correct language translations from my native tongue to English. I like the weekly digest emails that highlight common mistake areas, enhancing my English writing skills. The system's ease of use and its voice recognition pattern are also beneficial, making my writing sound more coherent.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the initial setup of Grammarly to be complicated because I downloaded multiple versions, including a desktop and a Safari version, which led to an overlap between these mechanisms. This made it difficult to distinguish between different instances of Grammarly operating simultaneously. Additionally, I have encountered issues when Grammarly overlapped with Apple's AI-driven writing tools, although this has mostly resolved on its own. Another aspect I would like to improve is the app's feedback for clarity suggestions. When Grammarly suggests a rewrite for clarity, I want it to provide specific reasons why my original phrasing was unclear and how it reached that conclusion.

I use Grammarly to improve my English writing by providing context and correcting sentence structures, helping me write more accurately as a non-native speaker.
It is versatile and helpful but it is a bit pricey

How versatile it is - the chrome extension, windows, on my phone and iPad - how I can use it anywhere is my favorite part

It is a bit pricey especially for a student. Free version could be enough, but not for me but every time I get charged for renewal I get surprised

What do you like best about the product?
Auto correct suggestions, enabling quick summarization. Clarity in communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile keyboard on Apple and it could become distracting when not working in preferred comm channels (ie Outlook)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enabling quicker forms of communication, and simplifying the corrective action when I make grammar mistakes.
Grammarly has helped me to become a better writer. The frequency of corrections is a great teacher.

Mistakes made regularly become so familiar that those errors become anticipatory, and growth is the byproduct.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish ALL fields that pop could be easily "X-ed" out. Some fields stay on the screen no matter what you do, even if you do not want to use them, and they block content you need to see in order to work on. Some fields can be moved on the screen, and some cannot. This is VERY challenging while you are working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I struggle with dyslexia and spelling and am GRATEFUL for Grammarly!! Secondarily, I struggel with sentence structure. I have learned a lot by using Grammarly and the frequency of use has made it so I have grown tremendously as a writer!
Perfect for Business Writing
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Grammarly helps me write with concision and grammatical accuracy. I'm writing safety programs, e-mails, and documents daily. I appreciate that my writing is clearer for the intended audience. Even in Excel, it's always there, ready to correct my terrible writing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside of Grammarly is that sometimes I want to be informal or incorrect for my writing voice and style. Most of the time, it's a good correction. Just that once in a while I have to ignore the blue lines.

Bad spelling and grammar get corrected, I don't look like a total doofus.

Grammarly provides significantly better writing capabilities than Apple’s AI and other tools. It offers direct feedback on readability scores and integrates seamlessly with iOS as a keyboard. Additionally, the plagiarism checker is an invaluable tool for my academic work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new desktop chatbot function should evolve into a more capable AI agent, enhancing the MCP functionality so that my workflow automation can leverage Grammarly in the near future.

I really appreciate the variety of tones available in the UX and the built-in plagiarism checker when I'm writing an academic paper.
