Makes me sound like I know what I am talking about
What do you like best about the product?
This tool helps me express my sentences clearly. I often use it to clarify my wording, allowing the recipient to follow my thoughts without unnecessary phrases easily. I use Grammarly across all my platforms, including texting and writing letters.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am looking for a more affordable application that offers the same features. I recently learned about a senior discount and took advantage of it. However, I request that this discount be made a permanent option, as I am on a fixed income and use this application for personal communications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It alerts me to misspelled words and suggests clearer sentence structures.
Enhances Writing but Pricey
What do you like best about the product?
I find Grammarly incredibly beneficial for improving my academic writing by identifying and correcting pronunciation, syntax, and grammatical errors, which saves me from many mistakes. I also appreciate its integration with various applications like Windows, Word, and Google Chrome, and how it seamlessly supports my writing tasks across different platforms. The feature that suggests breaking down complex sentences is particularly useful, as it enhances the clarity of my manuscripts. I chose the premium version due to its invaluable capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
{"I dislike that Grammarly sometimes makes passive sentence mistakes, requiring me to correct them manually to run it smoothly.","I find the pricing of Grammarly to be high, and I would prefer it to be lower for continued usage.","I encounter issues with the dictionary, where Grammarly sometimes misinterprets certain words, such as 'tile,' leading to mistakes."}

Effortless Setup, Enhances Writing Significantly
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Grammarly for its seamless setup, requiring only a few clicks and minimal personal information. The tool significantly enhances my writing by improving verb tenses, word choice, and punctuation. It's particularly helpful in revising sentence structure, providing me with better clarity. I value the ease of use that makes it straightforward to incorporate into my workflow. The product integrates well with Microsoft Office, allowing me to perform grammar checks directly in Word. I consistently renew my subscription because it consistently improves my writing, indicating its importance in my daily tasks. I highly recommend it to others, reflecting my continued satisfaction with the service.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like how Grammarly handles the use of the Oxford comma. I prefer to use the Oxford comma, and Grammarly sometimes inserts a comma in places where I don't think it belongs, such as after a phrase like 'thank you, Lynn.' This automatic insertion can be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly enhances my writing by correcting verb tenses, improving word choice, and refining punctuation, which boosts my overall writing quality and productivity.
Grammarly Review
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and provides good feedback on grammar.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ease of incorporating some of the suggested changes rather than the whole suggestion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps make my writing more polished. It was nice to have AI provide a template for formal letters that I needed to write as well.
Grammarly improves the clarity and tone in my writing, though some suggestions can be overly rigid.
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly is a valuable writing assistant, especially for catching common grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors. One of its most helpful features is how it improves tone and clarity—it can suggest more professional, friendly, or concise ways to phrase something depending on the context. This has been particularly useful for refining emails, reports, and other day-to-day writing where tone matters. The tool integrates well with platforms like Microsoft Word, email, and web browsers, making it easy to use without interrupting your workflow. For quick, real-time feedback on general writing, it’s a solid and reliable support tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Grammarly is useful, it can be overly rigid at times. One downside is that it tends to overcorrect, sometimes flagging appropriate or intentional choices as errors. For example, it may consistently flag the past tense even when it’s grammatically and stylistically correct. This can be frustrating, particularly in more nuanced or discipline-specific writing where the tool may not fully understand the context. In some cases, blindly accepting suggestions could lead to a loss of voice or misalignment with the intended meaning. So while it’s helpful, it still requires a critical eye and some judgment from the user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly helps catch tone issues I might otherwise overlook. It gives me more confidence that I can communicate the intended message clearly and that my writing will not be misinterpreted.

Sometimes the icon overlaps the text and I can't read what I'm typing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was never great at spelling. Grammarly helps make sure that my grammar is correct, the words are spelled correctly, and I have the right punctuation. It makes all my writing faster and more accurate.
Great productivity tool and always ensures I'm sharp with my communications
What do you like best about the product?
This tool is exceedingly easy to operate and user-friendly. The learning curve is minimal, as it integrates seamlessly with browsers, the Microsoft Office suite, and other applications. I utilize it daily, and it significantly enhances my productivity. Additionally, I appreciate the gamified experience whereby I receive weekly reports highlighting my strengths and areas for improvement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the downside is the floating banner that sometimes gets in the way of the main platform you're using making harder to see the information. Other than that, I have no complains.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly helps me be sharper with my communications and it is easy to prevent grammar errors and making it clearer.
Extremely Helpful
What do you like best about the product?
I perform extensive editing for the church's website, which includes contributions from multiple authors. Grammarly helps clean up the submissions quickly and continuously improves.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are rare times when the Grammarly indicator covers the words that I'm trying to read and edit. I find it annoying that we use Roman numerals for Bible books, but Grammarly insists on converting them to digits. I also do not like the modern trend of changing singular male pronouns to plurals. Political correctness does not make for good grammar or good reading.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to present a consistent readable website despite having multiple contributors.
Super helpful
What do you like best about the product?
I am a communications professional with dyslexia and have found Grammarly extremely useful. It's much better at recognising misspellings than other software, and can suggest useful alternatives to copy without changing your meaning. It works alongside every programme I've ever tried to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can go a bit over the top on it's AI suggestions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
