Real-Time Writing Improvements That Boost Confidence
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Grammarly is the way it improves my writing in real time. It doesn’t just correct grammar and spelling errors; it also suggests clearer, more professional wording that makes my message easier to understand. It’s easy to use, saves me time, and helps me feel more confident about what I write.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I don’t like about Grammarly is that some of its best features are locked behind the paid version. The free version is still helpful, but more advanced suggestions—like tone improvements and clarity rewrites—often require an upgrade. It also sometimes recommends changes that don’t quite fit my writing style, so I don’t always agree with every suggestion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly helps me solve common writing problems like grammar mistakes, unclear phrasing, and tone issues. It lets me catch errors quickly and polish what I’ve written without spending too much time on editing. Overall, it benefits me by making my communication feel more professional, saving me time, and giving me more confidence in what I send.

A Writing Ally with Seamless Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I use Grammarly for everything. I recently tried the extension and ended up subscribing to it because the suggestions, writing, and styling are really helping me become a better writer. Making corrections and seeing all the suggestions are actually quite fun, and I'm trying to learn how to write better, especially for my independent business. It provides a lot of suggestions and helps with grammar, writing in an active voice, and shows examples of good writing. I love that I can see the corrections and learn as I go, so it’s just great in helping me become a better, more effective writer, teaching me vocabulary and better sentence structure, and it helps me see errors quickly. Writing Assistant for Professionals
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Grammarly underlines any issues in red, making it easy to spot errors at a quick glance and address them immediately. I also appreciate receiving a weekly writing update via email, which reports on how many words were analysed, the accuracy of my copy, and the detected tones in my work. The tone report is particularly useful for ensuring I write confidently and directly, and I can compare my reports from a year ago to see how my writing has evolved. I like how the free version of Grammarly is quite intuitive; even though some features are blocked by a paywall, the free version addresses the basic issues like typos, weak tones and incorrect punctuation - which is all that most people really need anyway. It's a great extension that I'd recommend for any corporate professional as an extra set of eyes over their work. The initial setup was very easy, with no complaints, as you just put in a few details and download the browser extension.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pay wall can be frustrating because it hides some of Grammarly's suggestions. Grammarly also occasionally incorrectly corrects my work. This might be because I work in a niche industry with specific words and phrases, but it can be annoying to double-check the corrections it suggests.

Grammarly Sharpened My Writing Workflow with Clear Explanations and Reliable Tone Checks
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve used Grammarly for about two years across reports, literature reviews, and internal comms, and it genuinely sharpens my writing workflow. It’s not just about fixing mistakes; Grammarly explains them, so each edit turns into a quick learning moment. I also like the color-coded highlights that keep everything in one place—no tab-hopping—which is especially helpful when I’m juggling multiple sources. For a final pass, the clarity and tone scoring feels very reliable, and the AI assistant nudges me with references while flagging how readers might interpret trickier sections.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile keyboard tends to lag when I’m editing quick notes or comments in Docs, and it feels noticeably less smooth than native keyboards. I also really wish there were an offline mode—I’d feel safer editing unpublished drafts and participant notes locally. I understand the cloud-based model, but I’d still prefer having more local and offline control when I’m working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly helps me get cleaner first drafts—fewer tracked changes later. Time I used to spend line-editing now goes into refining arguments or checking sources. On longer documents, Grammarly probably saves me 20–30 minutes of proofreading, and I’ve had fewer rounds of revision requests from my advisor.
