Great service for individuals, even better personalized for teams
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Grammarly is able to help me identify and rewrite clunky sentences, catches grammar mistakes used in more formal language that I (and many others) are not good at, and works well even at the free level. The version for teams is even better, as it lets us put in notes about our organization's tone of voice, notes from our internal style guide, and preferred way to format phrases like times and dates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, the Grammarly plug-in for Microsoft Word is really glitchy (I've reinstalled it 2 or 3 times over the last few years). It takes a huge memory toll on my computer memory, too. It also doesn't identify nuances in language when applying a customized style guide. For example, we write "February 2024" but would write "Feb. 5, 2024." We said we prefer dates written "Feb. 5, 2024," and now it tries to correct ALL months to that. We can make notes for our team members in the message that pops up for them, but we can't make them read it... Also, we can't tell Grammarly NOT to flag certain things. For example, I can't make it stop telling my team to change "trainings" to "pieces of training." On the bright side, that's an excellent example for our team as to why they need to consider each suggested change and not blindly accept changes. Overall, I would not let these stop someone from using Grammarly. It's still a great help!

Grammarly helps us catch mistakes that our human, semi-volunteer proofing team was missing. And, it helps team members remember our house style.

Grammarly helps me catch careless errors and typos. It also is great for making sure that your sentences are concise and make sense.

The icon sometimes gets in the way on my screen.

It can slow down some of the online forms (I have not had that issue with installed apps, you websites)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
English was not my first language and I work in an environment with mostly international colleagues. Sometimes we all keep doing the same writing mistakes without realizing that they are not correct.

The plugin allows you to benefit from all of the Grammarly features wherever you are working.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love grammarly but would like to be able to update your knowledge base and glossary where you are rather than having to go to the app.

Proof reading and the writing assistant increase productivity, reduced grammatical mistakes, and can assist in crafting a message that is concise while maintaining my tone in the message.

Grammarly is a lifesaver!
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly is a lifesaver for my writing. I use Grammarly every day for everything from writing professional and personal emails to composing documents for my work. It easily integrates into all programs I use on a daily basis. As far as ease of implementation, Grammarly suggests both grammar corrections and stylistic adjustments that make my writing 100% more clear and accurate. I especially love how the different types of suggests are color-coded, and with the click of a button, I can accept or reject the suggestion making the user experience easy.

Occassionally, grammarly gives a suggestion that is not correct, but it is easy to reject the suggestion to keep my original writing.

Grammarly makes my writing more clear and concise. It saves me time and energy.

Useful software across a wide range of brand voices
What do you like best about the product?
For my team, using Grammarly to stay on-brand and revoice materials written by various team members has been a huge help. We work with 18 different brands and need to represent them all soundly, Grammarly supports that goal!
What do you dislike about the product?
My only qualm is that the floating button can get in the way sometimes, but it's not a huge hassle.

Grammarly improves our team's efficiency and keeps our team of writers consistent in voicing.
