Flexible Yet Strict: A Mixed Experience for Songwriters and Creatives
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Grammarly to double-check my important documents and creative writing. It fixes things like typos, omitted words, and poor word choice, making my writing process smoother. I appreciate that Grammarly has improved its ability to stay out of my way, allowing me to focus on writing without constant interruptions. Its strict grammar rules are also beneficial; although I often violate them intentionally, I find it helpful to be notified when I do. The improvements over time have made it more intuitive, and these positive changes make it a tool I want to recommend.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a songwriter, I find that Grammarly struggles with the flexibility required in lyrics. It often doesn't know what to do with words that don't exist or when I invent sounds, like for chants. This can be a bit of a hurdle. Also, I want it to be smarter about correcting grammar in this context, catching typos in lyric sheets while letting certain creative choices through without bothering me. The initial setup was a bit annoying, though it's much better now.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Grammarly for excellent writing in corporate settings, especially in response to customer and member services. It's been very helpful for me as it gives me confidence in my professional writing and has been key in navigating my job responsibilities. I appreciate that Grammarly ensures I have great grammar, with every I dotted and every T crossed, making sure every comma and semicolon is in the proper place. I trust Grammarly not just for grammar advice but also for correct spelling and proper writing. It's a tool I use often with email writing online, and it helps keep my writing correct and positively phrased. Being self-employed, I find paying for Grammarly money well spent in my career. I do recommend it highly to all my colleagues and give it a 10 because it's one of the things I pay for yearly that I most appreciate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like for Grammarly to apply to everything that I write on my computer online. Sometimes it manifests and sometimes it does not. So the only improvement I could get was getting more Grammarly on every screen.

I use Grammarly for excellent professional writing, ensuring correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation. It gives me confidence in my work and helps in crafting positive, well-structured responses, especially for corporate communications and member services.

I am an executive assistant and it is imperative that all of my emails have perfect grammar. Grammarly helps me cut down the time since it corrects my spelling and grammar quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is random but the little red button hovers over my Google Chat and I can't click on the send button. it is annoying each day when i am chatting with co-workers.

The plans can sometimes be very pricey. I’ve also noticed differential pricing across plans for the same set of users, or for very similar users, within the same workspace or domain.

I appreciate the value of Grammarly, especially for helping me formulate and organize my thoughts. At 82, with arthritis in my hands, Grammarly reminds me not to forget my closing periods. I love its assistance in accurately attributing snippets of poetry or historical expressions to their original authors. Grammarly helps in organizing my sometimes rapid but disorganized thoughts, making ideas more quickly accessible. It feels like a friend, aiding in expressing my thoughts with clarity. I find Grammarly very intuitive and easy to use, which makes the whole experience very positive. The initial setup was really easy.

Sometimes, when I'm writing, I'm also trying to clarify what I want to express. It's like a search for the best way to say what I'm sorting out. In that searching process, Grammarly seems to go off on its own tangent, not following my breadcrumbs!

What do you like best about the product?
I have used the trial version and I am very happy with it. It gives me good suggestion and help to reshape the writing easily. Sometimes we don't have enough time to reshape the thoughts, it helps us in a short period of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
More general Grammer should be used and appropriate wording is needed. Sometime Grammer is right buy irrelevant words make it difficult to understand.
