Great tool for academic work
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly is a tool that I have been using for almost the entirety of my career as an academic. It always saves me time, and mental energy especially when I am hopping from one task to another. Right now, I use Grammarly to help me improve my academic writing as I prepare journal articles, conference papers, and dissertation. Also, I usually write for different purposes, so, the feature of Grammarly where you can set the tone and purpose of writing comes handy every time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I installed Grammarly in my emails and online documents, and sometimes when I agree to what it is suggesting and click so that it gets implemented, it takes several tries, or I had to refresh my document. I don't know if this is an issue with my device or connection, or a systemic one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not a native english speaker, so I need help improving my language, especially tailor-fitting it to the academic and professional lingo. Grammarly is definitely my go-to app when confronted with these issues. Moreover, even with just drafting social media posts, to be sure, I usually run it with Grammarly. I feel that if it is Grammarly-approved (95% and above score), I feel confident about my work.

What do you like best about the product?
Real-time corrections are incredibly helpful, as Grammarly catches mistakes instantly while I type. This feature saves me a lot of time compared to having to re-read drafts several times. I also appreciate the clarity-focused suggestions; the tool goes beyond just fixing grammar by helping me make my sentences shorter, more concise, and easier to understand. The tone detection is another standout for me. I like that it notifies me if my email comes across as too formal, too casual, or unintentionally harsh—something that traditional spellcheckers don’t offer. Additionally, I find the cross-platform support very convenient. Whether I’m composing an email, working on a report, or posting on social media, Grammarly is available on my browser, desktop, and mobile devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version offers some useful tools, but its functionality is quite limited. If you want access to more advanced features like tone adjustment, improved clarity, a plagiarism checker, and greater vocabulary variety, you'll need to upgrade to Premium. However, the subscription cost for Premium can seem expensive when compared to other options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly assists me in catching grammar and spelling mistakes, enhances the clarity of my writing, and helps ensure that my tone is appropriate for my audience. It streamlines the editing process, saving me valuable time, and makes my communication appear more professional and confident, whether I am composing emails, reports, or more extensive documents.

This tool has been very helpful for me and my team in improving our writing, especially since English is not our first language.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Chrome extension could use some improvements, as it occasionally appears in places where I don't want it to show up.

It checks our writing as we go and offers improved suggestions for what we've written.
It is a good app overall. You can check all yours emails and letters first before submitting.

It is very helpful for me because when I need to submit any email, letter, application or any other thing then firstly I written it on a sheet then I check it on grammarly for us there any mistake in spelling or grammer. Then the app is correct me everywhere.

Some time it shows advertisement too much and above that sometimes when you check your grammar they suggest to buy a pro version then they correct in a proper way

It solves my many problems like correct my english sometimes and when I write something in Sheet then paste it on a grammarly app then they correct me.

What do you like best about the product?
This app being very helpful for me in content writing during my internship by correcting grammar, spelling and punctuation which saves my editing time. It suggests tone and clarity which assist me in making research papers, reports and HR drafts more professional. It suggests better word choices for formal writing. It also provides feature of plagiarism detect which help me to ensure the originality of my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing which I dislike is that sometimes it misinterpret specific terms, technical economic language or HR jargon and gives irrelevant suggestions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly is a powerful writing assistant for an economics student like me who has experience in content writing, research work and HR as it improves clarity and professionalism in my writing.

What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly is very helpful in checking my grammar and language in composing letters and presentation texts. It is linked to my Outlook, which automatically checks everything before I send emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of any negative comments aboun this app.

It helps in presentations, formal letters, and pitch project grammars.
Great For Grammar, But Creates Sameness With Suggestions
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly catches basic punctuation, grammar, and spelling errors easily. Even as I write this under the free version, it corrects me! People who write a lot and don't have a grammar and spelling review function in their word processor should use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Grammarly creates a sameness with its suggestions. For serious writers, it can choke out the editorial or creative style. Prose, novels, etc. would suffer under it. Journalism also can suffer a bit, Taking too many suggestions from it, especially AI suggestions, stifles creativity and voice. I continue to use the free version daily in my browser. But I do not use the paid version anymore.

Grammarly is a great tool for catching spelling, punctuation, and grammar errors. However, it's AI is in its infancy, and it can be redundant. AI writing is easy to recognize, and you'll honestly be better off simply rewriting problematic sentences and paragraphs.

I like the ability to add the extension to my desktop and use this with word.

I wish there weren’t so many limits in the free edition.
