NinjaOne is a complete IT management platform

  • July 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I’ve found NinjaOne to be refreshingly simple and intuitive compared to other RMM platforms I’ve used. The interface is clean, efficient, and easy to navigate, which makes daily IT management much smoother. What really stands out is how responsive the product team is to user feedback—they consistently roll out updates with features that are both relevant and impactful.

Another major plus is the ability to integrate third-party tools like SentinelOne and CrowdStrike, giving organizations the flexibility to strengthen their security posture as needed. On top of all that, NinjaOne’s customer service is excellent. They’re quick to respond and genuinely committed to resolving questions and concerns. Overall, NinjaOne delivers a well-rounded experience that’s ideal for modern IT teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything that I dislike about NinjaOne. They continue to innovate and bring new products and features to market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne streamlines routine IT tasks through automation and delivers proactive alerts to keep IT teams informed of potential issues. This significantly reduces the time spent digging through logs or manually handling endpoint management, backups, patching, and documentation. Its robust feature set helps minimize administrative overhead, enabling IT teams to focus on strategic initiatives and advance the maturity of their IT and security operations.

Robust platform that's easy to use but not quite ready for MSPs

  • July 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Strong integrated remote access app, good automation features, very easy to deploy via Intune or GPO, lots of automated 3rd party app deployments built in, good Windows patching tools, granular controls for organization permissioning.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very poor considerations for MSP's. Cannot move an existing NinjaOne customer into an MSP's tenant without uninstalling all agents and redeploying. Reporting tools can provide deep info about certain functions but don't do the simple things well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne is providing remote support tooling, automation, and patching.

NinjaOne is a feature rich product that can help manage, inventory and troubleshoot your assets.

  • July 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part of NinjaOne is two fold. The clean User Interface (UI) and the amount of features that it has. I've used many remote tools, and this is my favorite so far. It allows us to see issues with endpoints, remote to fix them and helps with inventory.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish the reporting was a little more robust with the options to choose from. For example, i couldn't run a report for all computers to see if their OS was on Windows 11, but could at each department level. If it is possible, it was readily apparent, at least to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The organization is almost completely remote (90%) and this allows us to troubleshoot users issues much more easily and without errors and hassles.

Ever expanding device management system

  • July 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Agent reliably runs on a variety of machines and is always reachable
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting on software versions is possible but not very intuitive. PDQ inventory is much better at this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to manage devices which aren't on our corporate network without requiring a VPN

Ninja One Review from the viewpoint of updates and patching

  • July 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Run scripts on many devices
Schedule scripts for device groups
Easy policy scaling via inheritance
Many remote support tools
Run scripts in multiple contexts
Custom fields for device tracking
What do you dislike about the product?
Weak Mac and Linux support
Limited software reporting
No registry value reports
Lacks device settings reports
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Senior IT Analyst managing a diverse fleet of endpoints, I’ve found NinjaOne to be a solid Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) platform, particularly when it comes to scripting and patching workflows. Here’s a breakdown of my experience, especially from the viewpoint of updates and patching.

What Works Well
Script Execution at Scale: One of NinjaOne’s standout strengths is its ability to run large volumes of scripts across multiple devices or groups. Whether it’s routine maintenance or emergency fixes, the scheduling and targeting capabilities are robust and reliable.

Policy Inheritance: Managing patching policies across a growing number of devices is made easier with policy inheritance. It allows for scalable configuration management without duplicating effort.

Remote Support Tools: NinjaOne includes a wide array of remote access tools, which are invaluable for manual interventions. These tools integrate smoothly into the platform, reducing the need for third-party solutions.

Flexible Script Contexts: Scripts and installers can be executed in various contexts (system, user, etc.), offering flexibility for different patching and configuration scenarios.

Custom Fields: Perhaps NinjaOne’s most underrated feature, custom fields allow for detailed device tracking. This is especially useful for patching workflows where specific device attributes (like BIOS version or custom software flags) need to be monitored.

Efficient and reliable IT management with NinjaOne

  • July 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is the clear and intuitive user interface of NinjaOne. The platform allows me to manage all devices and processes centrally and easily. I particularly appreciate the quick setup, the reliable remote functions, and the automated updates, which significantly simplify the IT routine. The fact that support requests are answered promptly and competently is another big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Feature requests sometimes take forever to be implemented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne solves the problem of recurring IT tasks for us, such as automatic restarts of services and freeing up storage space. Previously, we had to do all of this manually, now it runs automatically in the background. This relieves our team and allows us to focus on more important things. This way, problems are detected and resolved faster, and downtime is much reduced.

I’m thoroughly impressed with NinjaOne.The look and feel is modern, intuitive, and well thought-out.

What do you like best about the product?
I’m thoroughly impressed with NinjaOne – both in terms of functionality and design. The look and feel is modern, intuitive, and well thought-out. It makes day-to-day work much more pleasant and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, there is no long-term performance documentation available, which would be helpful for deeper evaluations over time. Additionally, the pricing could be more competitive, especially for smaller MSPs or businesses with tighter budgets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne helps us centralize and streamline endpoint management, patching, monitoring, and remote support – all from a single, intuitive platform. This significantly reduces our response times, improves service quality for our clients, and increases overall operational efficiency. It also minimizes tool sprawl, making our workflows much more cohesive and manageable.

Does what it is supposed to do!

  • July 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We've been very happy with NinjaRMM. It's easy to set up, intuitive to use, and comes at a fair price point. The support team is responsive and helpful whenever we need assistance.

The built-in remote support tool, NinjaRemote, works exceptionally well—so much so that we prefer it over TeamViewer. I rely on NinjaRMM daily, not just for monitoring and remote access, but also for deploying small scripts across our Azure AD environment.

Since we don't use a traditional domain controller or Group Policies, NinjaRMM has become a valuable tool to configure and enforce settings that would normally be handled via GPOs. Overall, it's a powerful and user-friendly solution for managing modern IT environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area where we feel there’s room for improvement is the SNMP monitoring feature. While it technically works, it's quite basic and lacks the depth we expect—especially in terms of dashboards and visualizations. We gave it a try but ultimately decided not to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne gives us a clear and centralized overview of our entire IT environment. We can easily group and organize devices by location or type, which greatly simplifies management. The remote access capabilities are excellent—whether we need full desktop control or quick access via PowerShell or Command Prompt, it's fast and reliable.

One major benefit is the ability to standardize settings across all company devices, even without a domain controller. This is especially valuable in our Azure AD-only setup, where traditional Group Policies aren't available. Additionally, NinjaOne's reporting features help us track key metrics like device age and lifecycle, allowing us to plan hardware replacements more proactively.

Overall, it streamlines day-to-day IT operations and fills in the gaps left by more traditional tools in a modern, cloud-based environment.
