NinjaOne: One of the Most Helpful IT Solutions
What do you like best about the product?
IT doesn't always get to benefit from their implementations, but NinjaOne is worth implementing because it provides significant help to IT. The remote support tools are awesome and it's been great to see our Windows patching and upgrades resolve over time. Pushing software to any user, at any location, on/off VPN is one of the greatest advantages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all installations are based on a single .msi/.exe file. On the occasional times that we need to run an install with multiple files to reference, It would be nice if NinjaOne had a repository to store and reference those files during install.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Windows upgrades, software scripts were always a challenge for us. We had to spend a lot of time targeting users for an update. With NinjaOne, we push a script or update and let it do all the work for us.
Great software for keeping track of software / os patches
What do you like best about the product?
What I find most helpful is the ability to see what machines need patches at a glance and being able to push those patches out remotely. It also helps me keep track of our pc/laptop inventory. I use it daily to check for issues and to push out important updates. The installation was easy and customer support guides the way. The remote support tool is a definite bonus no need for another remote desktop subscription.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't really found a downside yet. I will say it keeps you busy since you see the machines that need patching and it's almost constant that one or more machines is in need of something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patch management and network inventory. NinjaOne makes it simple and it can all be done from one place.
Ninjaone has been a fantastic / well-rounded RMM especially compared to others in the Market.
What do you like best about the product?
Ninjaone has very competitive pricing for what it offers. A lot of features that are very useful, and not a lot of 'fluff' i.e features that aren't super useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts of the customization could be more robust. It would be nice to be able to apply certain settings to a role rather than a user. For example, assigning specific device access on the role rather than each individual user in that role.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to allow multiple users to have remote access to specific devices. We are in a unique industry where a lot of different departments may need access to certain devices, and Ninja allows these users to connect remotely at no extra cost (only cost is per device)
Life-saver and constant improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Complete monitoring on devices without needing to have it in-hand, or remote access. We can see everything in task manager, open a command prompt, run tasks and even install software without laying hands on the device or remoting in.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the items you would think should be included with base pricing are not included. Ticketing wasn't included. Some of the Google Workspaces implementations could get some beefing up, like SCIM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne saves us so much time troubleshooting our fleet of devices. We also save countless hours a week on-boarding new devices with auto-run installs.
Simply pleased
What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne has been a great add to FHCSO. There are many positives to the solution but I mostly like how easy it is to customize to my own needs. From the ticketing solution, to direct integrations with other platforms, to update services. This has become our single stop location to get things done within our environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see improvements to reporting. I think it would be easy to add Active Directory auditing since the integration is already there with Domain Controllers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single tool for managing many pain points. My technicians have a one stop shop to perform their daily duties.

- "Run Once" schedules aren't sufficient to space out software installs

Most user friendly remote tool we've ever used
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of remote access via teamviewer, the ease of pushing updates for 3rd party apps, and using scripts for remote install of applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have a pretty high churn of equipment here, and I think there should be some sort of scavenging option, or maybe that we aren't billed for a machine that hasn't been online in the last 30 days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's letting us push installations to computers in an environment where we have multiple networks, and many remote employees. And the unattended Teamviewer feature is both invaluable and simplistic.
Simple endpoint management
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to run scripts on the endpoint and enforce software installs
What do you dislike about the product?
UI can be more modern, it is in need of a overhaul to be more visually appealing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have the ability to reach into an endpoint at any time via a shell or remote desktop. This helps us keep our endpoints configured properly and secure.
Outstanding Endpoint Management and IT consistency tool!
What do you like best about the product?
the easy-to-use interface and available support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some integrations and support escalations for third-party products are challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First and foremost, NinjaOne simplifies enterprise device management and reduced IT staffing requirements. NinjaOne is our primary support for resolving vulnerabilities in organization devices.
NinjaOne is a comprehensive, easy to use and understand RMM system administration tool.
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is quite simply, easy and straight forward. Its never hard to find what you are looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that seems to be of a bother would be when I have to update my remote log in app. An unfortunate but necessary step. :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps track of our security patching which I prefer over the old WSUS method.
