NinjaOne for Patch and Remote Management

  • November 21, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use interface for RMM, endpoint management, patch management, MDM and enterprise IT management with responsive support staff if ever needed. Quick and easy to implement and integrate with a variety of systems. Easy to check in and manage deployment schedules for daily or weekly deployments. Also easy to view and edit local registry, files and confirm software versions on the endpoint.
What do you dislike about the product?
The included reports could be more customizable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were tired of dealing with manual patching and WSUS, Windows automated patching and individual software patch settings, and Ninjaone filled the gap. Remote management solutions from other vendors were pricey and this addressed both managed and unmanaged devices for remote management. The additional features were nice extras to gain without added cost. We had a unique scenario where we had to control both corporate owned and personal devices, which most vendors required an agent installed, which we are unable to do on personal devices.

Solid product, reasonably priced, intuitive deployment

  • November 21, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne had a very intuitive setup. The way you configure the policies and how they're deployed made sense and was not overly complicated. I like how it's hosted and removed the burden of application upgrades from the customer. The interface is polished and easy to navigate. The interface also appears to respond fast; there hasn't been any noticable lag or latency. I do like how often the agents check-in as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app is a bit limiting with functionalty but suspect there will be more added later. I would like to see an auto-retry feature added for patching failures in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a ticketing system, MDM and patching solution all under one roof. We were able to cancel three other applications and consolidate them all under NinjaOne which is very helpful. Also, because it's hosted, clients who are not connected to our network via VPN still can communicate with NinjaOne and us making it easier to provide support for mobile users.

straight forward and clean

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
its UI is very straight forward and clean, it allows one to get aquainted with the system really quickly. integration with other applications such as crowdstrike are great too, it helps bring everything together. coupled with great customer support from the tech support team and our account rep there really isnt much to dislike about NinjaOne.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing really, if there was one spot that could use a bit more it would be the reporting tool but even that works just fine as is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it allows me to provide proper desktop support to my end users regardless of where they are or where I am. it ensures that my endpoints stay up to date and that necessary applcations are installed and running.

Improoved - has still way to go for me.

What do you like best about the product?
Script deploying capabilities for administrative tasks
What do you dislike about the product?
When remote desktoping organization could be included on the title window. This is essential as we have many locations with the same Computer names.
Uploading large files (>1 gb) fails many times without notification.
I suspect files are first uploaded to ninja servers (which always succeds) whoever the 2nd step (copy to destination) fails sillently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multiple locations without direct access can be managed through this

Great experience overall

  • November 21, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ninjaone is a versatile program that offers great functionality for our everyday tasks. The script library is extensive and the ability to run powershell scripts with ease is a lifesaver. Generally it works as intended with a few hiccups here and there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ninjaone has one great drawback in my opinion and that many times the ninja remote fails to connect. I've seen it too many times now and I really struggle
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patch management & asset management.

Great service!

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to master and use. Great support when needed - very responsive. Has all the features you would need/expect and then some new ones coming.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating "tech" admins for clients was a little confusing at first. It would be nice if each client had their own portal under my unbrella and then had full admin rights over their own portal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily managing endpoints and patching.

Does the job

  • November 21, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Gives me insight into all my devices, immediate access at the system level to remotely support and manage the devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could customize the messages that appear when systems need to reboot a bit more but that is almost a mute point. The tool is very effective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The tool allows me to manage my globally distributed fleet of Windows devices remotely. It tells me device status, health, patch status etc. I am always in the know of current devices and their health.

NinjaOne - Great Features and Easy to Use

  • November 21, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Teamviewer integrated into the application is excellent. Running scripts is easier than in other tools
What do you dislike about the product?
I ran into some issues trying to disable users from accessing machines using provided scripts. Outside of that, everything has been great
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having Patching management, Asset managment, and remote support all in a single place is very convenient
