NinjaOne has been a great replacement to our former RMM

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne was easy to deploy and setup. Their onboarding staff helped guide us for a smooth transition. Using the product is straight forward and easy to understand. My techs love it over our former RMM which was Kaseya VSA. They like the patching ability, the reporting and the tools to monitor and administrator end point devices such as remoting in to a device, running a remote command or remote file browser. Searching for devices or users is easy with the search function and the device overview page simply lays out most information you need. Everything is included and they don't charge extra for reports or other basic items you need and expect compared to other RMMs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functionality on Macs is difficult to get working or at all. Luckily we have very few Macs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patching, remove management and monitoring.

Easy to use with an intuitive interface

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne makes it very easy to filter my device list by any attribute I need. The custom filtered views that I create can be saved and they then become dynamic groups that can be targeted with automations or other actions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not easy to see at a glance in the Devices view which endpoints are idle or have no one logged in. To figure out if it's safe to force a reboot of an endpoint, you have to click each endpoint to find the idle time value or if a user is currently logged on. It's a small nuisance, but our previous RMM gave us this ability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As we deploy more and more mobile devices that regularly leave our campus LAN, it has become critical that we utilize a cloud-based endpoint management solution.

Reliable, Intuitive, and Essential for Modern IT Management

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne provides an incredibly clean and intuitive interface that makes endpoint management and remote monitoring a breeze. The speed and reliability of remote access tools have drastically improved our response times. Patch management is straightforward, and automated alerts keep our team one step ahead. Their support team is responsive and knowledgeable, which makes onboarding and ongoing use seamless. As an IT service provider, it’s become a critical tool for delivering proactive, high-quality support to our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
While NinjaOne covers the core functions well, we’d love to see deeper third-party integrations and more advanced reporting options out of the box. A bit more customization in dashboards and alert policies would make it even more powerful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne helps us stay ahead of IT issues before they become downtime. With real-time monitoring, automated patching, and remote access, we can support clients quickly and proactively. It cuts hours off routine maintenance and keeps our clients' systems secure and up-to-date. The platform’s automation tools allow our team to focus more on strategy and less on manual tasks. That’s a big win for both our productivity and client satisfaction.

The best RMM solution that I've used

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Having worked in both the MSP and Internal IT spaces, I can honestly say that NinjaOne is the best RMM solution that I've ever used when it comes to desktop support.

The simplicity of the program allows for less time training technicians, and more time supporting users. I've used and administered several other RMM solutions through the years, but none of them can compare to what Ninja has to offer.

While the remote view/control application is fantastic, Ninja really shines with it's less intrusive options for supporting users like the command line that allows for
What do you dislike about the product?
Ninja isn't missing many features, but in my opinion, a "nice-to-have" feature would be a fully HTML5 based remote control/view option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our previous solutions were just too cumbersome for our technicians. It took multiple clicks and many minutes to accomplish tasks that take a single click and seconds in Ninja. The ease of use of the product is, in my opinion, it's biggest selling point. NinjaOne is extremely intuitive to use.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to push out mass deployments of software to devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to wait for a support engineer to assist by scheduling a Zoom call. I would like to be able to access support more efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hardware and OS Software patches & Updates

Very User Friendly, Great Support, Amazing Product, Great Updates!

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use when setting up and using NinjaOne makes it very easy to recommend to anyone who is looking for an MDM that supports all major operating systems. Within a quick 1-hour call, we were able to fully get our instance running to manage our Linux fleet, and with a few clicks, we had our users enrolled. The library of existing scripts also makes it very easy to implement security measures for all machines without having to worry about much. There are also feature updates and enhancements that are released regularly to further enhance existing features and workflows, and give the IT administrator more reliability in their device management.
What do you dislike about the product?
NinjaOne works exactly as intended for our business needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We didn't have a MDM for our Linux fleet that was actually working properly. With NinjaOne, we can see insights to our machines and actually push scripts and policies to them with getting responses from NinjaOne telling us if they succedded or not. Policies also get pushed extrememly fast as compared to other MDM systems that we were testing. We also didnt have a way to have our Linux machines to appear in our asset management system Oomnitza. The integration between the two was very simple and easy to setup and we had all of our machines properly imported from NinjaOne to Oomnitza with no issues.

What do you like best about the product?
All information about the devices is very helpful knowing the health state of each.

When sorting devices for uptime or last reboot, the columns don't stay sorted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote and patch management

So much better than CW

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. Not CW
2. Easily available Roadmap with an easy way to submit ideas or requests
3. Actively available, communicative, and knowledgeable representative. If he doesn't know something, he finds out.
4. Automations, background mode, device specific notes, Tags per device, policy specific scheduled automations, conditions that trigger automations, the Ninja provided scripts, etc. Every feature is clean, intuitive, and better than any I've seen elsewhere.
5. Handles our scale of over a thousand devices and users, while also allowing us to share some features with end users like NinjaRemote.
What do you dislike about the product?
Errors and accessibility. Both are actively being improved, but the errors for remoting into an offline device can be vague and requires a little more inference -- though it's already better than when we started using Ninja! The current reboot prompts are also not readable by screenreaders just yet, but our rep immediately requested their team to begin testing their revamp of the prompts so we'll know if we need to adapt or if Ninja already has the issue in their sights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne helps us easily manage thousands of users and devices consolidated under unique tenants. Each remote tool is reliable, and only really has issue if there's a larger issue affecting the machine as a whole. Monitoring the health of the devices is a breeze, implementing software deployments that would otherwise be manual and grueling can be automated with just a little bit of elbow grease, and detailed reports and CSVs are right at your fingertips.
