NinjaONE RMM Experience

  • August 22, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My favourite part about using NinjaOne is that everything is very streamlined, and it has a nice modern design. Using the online portal is very straightforward, and it makes it easy to navigate all the options available. NinjaOne is quick and easy to integrate on user computers/servers, and the remote access makes it easy to help managing our customers. The amount of community resources available helps a lot when we need to look at custom features to implement. The support team is very helpful and gets back to us in a timely manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
The frequency of updates and new releases can feel a little slow sometimes, with key features that are scheduled for later releases or in beta taking a fair amount of time to be released. The features are great when they release, but we often find ourselves waiting some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne helps us keep track and monitor all of the customers we manage devices for. We can easily check the status of devices, know what hardware/software they are running on, and if there are any pressing concerns. The automation of patching/updating and customs scripts that we can run saves us a lot of time. The NinjaRemote background mode helps us to assist on computers that are busy to troubleshoot issues without interrupting end users.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the well thought out and neatly structured user interface. There are huge potential use cases / functionalty, and it's a very nice way to manage and administer your infrastructure. You are able to automate things via scripts and policies, and it even includes configurable conditions for monitoring. very nice!
What do you dislike about the product?
Since I didn't use any other RMM tool before, I can't really say much about the downsides of Ninja.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Windows Updates: we only patch clients via Ninja Patch Management
RMM: we use different conditions to monitor our environment
Remote Support: we use NinjaRemote to connect to clients

Easy to learn, hard to master

  • August 22, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne as a product is super flexible, I can tailor it to my customers' needs.
The team behind NinjaOne itself is super friendly and always ready to help if there are any problems, this friendliness and professionalism extends from the account manager to the technical support right up to the product lead.
These are also the reasons why NinjaOne has become the product that we use on a daily basis in our company, without NinjaOne the work we do every day would be much more stressful.
In addition, the monitoring is easy and intuitive for the normal technician who does not directly administer the NinjaOne
What do you dislike about the product?
What I see as a positive can also be seen as a negative point, because I have to customize NinjaOne to the customer's needs, there is a lot that has to be added, when we started using NinjaOne, there were only the simplest sensors for simple things like CPU usage, etc., more complex sensors that monitor the backup, for example, had to be added by us afterwards, which can make the intgeration and implementation, especially for rather inexperienced admins in the field of programming, really difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne has solved the problem for us to have a clean interface where I can see all the values of my customers.
Previously, we had different applications where each took on a small subtask. Now with NinjaOne, everything runs through NinjaOne.
One platform, one console.

Organsed mass endpoint management at its finest

  • August 22, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Managing a number of endpoints is seamless. It has been a gamechanger for our company which the IT team use everyday. Implementing third-party software is beneficial for our workflow as it saves time.

The ability to view the ongoings of proceses running in the background and run command and Powershell scripts while an endpointis failing to respond has been very useful when troubleshooting issues.

The organisation of endpoints makes life easier for referring to devices around the office.

NinjaRemote has been incredibly helpful and defeats the purpose of additional screen-sharing software such as TeamViewer and AnyDesk.

Antivirus integration makes scanning and detecting threats easy.

The installation and removal

Our account manager Muhammad AbdulSami has looked after us with regular check-ups and also introduces us to new and unexplored features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see the ability to deploy applications from the Mac App Store to our Mac OS endpoints. JamF and Addigy currently have this.

When installing Ninja on a Mac device, it takes a while for NinjaRemote to start working, therefore we usually end up waiting for a good while to actually test NinjaRemote and apply security permssions, before assigning the device to an employ.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability of seeing when devices are "unhealthy" so we can then plan our steps.

NinjaRemote is hugely beneficial.

We successfully offer patch & remote management for thousands of devices as an MSP

  • August 22, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's great that we can implement the devices with a lot of flexibility.
As an MSP, we can provide our customers with monthly reports regarding patch management.
The patch approval process works good for us
If we are missing a feature, the technical support from Ninja helps us excellently and quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support: Sometimes the ticket processing times may feel a bit slow until a solution is provided.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an MSP, we offer patch management and remote management (with Ninja Remote) for several thousand devices and hundreds of customers. It doesn’t matter whether we’re managing Windows servers or clients – it works well overall.
