Effective RMM Software

  • June 10, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Lots of features, good price point, easy enough to set up for a smaller organisation, but sophisticated enough for a larger one
What do you dislike about the product?
User interface can always be streamlined, it can take awhile to find certain things - more integration between Antivirus service would also be good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Policy compliance, remote support, an all in one endpoint managed service which helps an IT dept. keep on top of our devices easily.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Usefull for applying settings and updates across a large number of PCs quickly without manually needing to go to each PC to adjust the settings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Missing the ability to select multiple PCs (or predifined groups) and run an automation across all of them at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of PC service number and lifespans.
Seeing health of all remote PCs at once.
End devices do not need to be on the same network like LanSweeper

Very intuitive, extremely powerful & reliable RMM

  • June 07, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There's no unnecessary complex UX- it's a very well thought through UI, with powerful, market leading features!
We've had huge value out of both the core of Ninja, but also the newer features they're developing - macOS MDM in particular. They're very in tune with their customers, and we couldn't recommend them highly enough.
What do you dislike about the product?
In our opinion, the network monitoring product is a little pricy, and not feature rich enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product consolidation, and a simpler tool for our 1st line team to grasp at core. But also informing hardware upgrade cycles with it's extended resource history.

Ninja - Patch & Vulnerability Management

  • June 06, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ninja has been a fantastic addition to our suite of applications. By bringing patch management back in house from our MSP, we were able to gain greater control of what was patched and when, but we also saw a direct correlation to the number of vulnernabilities in our environment.

In the first 6 months of using Ninja, we have seen a drop of over 70,000 vulnerabilities, providing us greater security.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is not a dislike, but it would be great in NinjaOne provided the ability to re-run failed application installs, instead of having to run them manually.

Secondly, it would be great in Office installs had a pop-up asking to save work before attempting an update - Although I know this is on the Ninja roadmap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ninja has provided us with a greater oversight of what we are patching, what applications we have in our environment, and the ability to patch outside of working hours.

Efficient Asset Management with Stellar Remote Access

  • June 05, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how we can use NinjaOne to push out software files and use it to remote into PCs in the background. The software deployment and remote access tools save me a lot of time and reduce the amount of manual work I'd normally do. The initial setup was surprisingly straightforward and the onboarding process was well structured.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts of NinjaOne work really well for me, but there are a few areas where I think it could be smoother. Reporting can feel a bit limited at times, especially when I need more customization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne manages patch and remote control issues. It saves me a lot of time with software deployment and remote access, reducing manual work.

Great for most, patching could use some work.

What do you like best about the product?
Remote tools and the ability to mass-install or mass-uninstall applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Patching failures and policies (Windows 10 to 11 especially) can be time consuming to manage.
Software patching appears hit or miss regarding some applications and no error messages or reasons to easily identify why some computers are not updating their software (non-Windows).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It took over as a remote tool and patching tool, and the patching tool (despite some issues) works well as it is not reliant on the Windows Update service for everything.

Simple to use. Affordable. Powerful.

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is simple to use and easy to navigate, and Patch Management is straightforward and comprehensive. The new Ninja Remote tool is super quick and seamless to use, and I've been able to offer this to clients as an alternative remote access tool (for access to their onprem PCs). Super easy to deploy agents.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be good to see a more comprehensive MDM developed into the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily remote support for my clients and Patch Management. Gives me the ability to provide timely support and track software patching.

This is the ONE all-in-one IT device management cloud service that you'll ever need

  • June 03, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne covers all the day to day bases with efficiently managing our sprawling assortment of desktops, laptops, servers and they manage to do it cost effectively that also extends to 3rd party licensing and addons they have available for easy integration which they've expanded to major services like CloudStrike last year.

It offers an incredible value for the price, due to the long list of possible integrations you can mange those costs easily going with different companies for your remote control, AV/Threat protection, Documentation, and other solutions without being forced into a half baked built-in product of other competitors.

This is a very easy product to implement, it's one of the easiest and most reliable or solid ones on the market too. I've only had to interact with customer support a couple times over several years, when I have they've responded professionally and very quickly. You can keep it basic, or you can go very deep with it to get the full functionality and automation of device onboarding and management.

Our team has been with NinjaOne for around 5 years now using it daily and it's exceeded our expectations. In a world of IT tools that often cost way too much, require a dedicated employee to manage, or easily disappoint with lackluster service.. it's been a welcome surprise.
What do you dislike about the product?
With almost 30 years in this space this is a common issue with every IT vendor but I'll state it here as a con with NinjaOne as well.

There will often be more of a focus on new features with less time spent refining and improving older features that need more development to be competitive with fully featured 3rd party solutions if you're looking for that such as Ticketing. This isn't a dig on Ninja as anyone in this industry knows this happens with all vendors balancing development time to keep or acquire new customers, just know some product features such as "Ticketing" aren't going to 100% replace your Zendesk Helpdesk anytime soon, but if you're a small IT shop you can certainly save a chunk of money going with the built-in solution and basic feature set.

This is a very powerful platform once you get deeper into it's implementation for automating device deployments and management. You really do need to find and devote the time for your team to fully utilize the advanced functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote monitoring and reliable remote desktop management. We used to use products such as LogMeIn, or Teamviewer, which were either too expensive, or lacked the full functionality that we needed. NinjaOne wraps that all into one system to quickly find and remotely solve issues for our staff, or automate management such as patching again saving us money and time.

Intuitive remote management with good features.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can quickly search by machine ID, last loged in user, or serial number in order to access user machines.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a huge fan of the splashtop software but the way NinjaRMM handles it has slowly won me over.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The integrated Splashtop remote software allows me to service users even when they are in other states.

Swiss Army Toolkit

  • June 03, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
SUper easy to deploy Ninja One makes maintenance and system health workflow a piece of cake. We use it on a daily basis as our main access tool for support. It adds to our security stack with 2FA security and control of remote access tools. We don't have a need for VPN connections for most outside in access.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the beginning we had minimal customer service contact.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allowed us to meet changing standards in the financial services sector.
