    Logistics and Supply Chain

Administrator Swiss Army Knife

  • February 12, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne provides many of the tools system administrators use/need all in one easy to use platform. Remote control, monitoring, inventory, patching, reporting, antimalware - I use it daily.

The environment is easy to set up and systems are easy to get added; we used PDQ Deploy to push the agent plugin to users' computers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly cant think of anything I dislike about NinjaOne. I used to have a hard time removing systems from inventory, but that and any other complaints I had with NinjaOne have been addressed in their updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I no longer have to sign up for 3+ services as NinjaOne does them all itself.

In our specific scenario, Teamviewer was much cheaper and did much more than what our previous system (Teamviewer Tensor) did.

The essential tool to manage thousands of endpoints efficiently

  • February 12, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the user-friendly yet sophisticated console that allows me to understand the statuses of endpoints easily.
When I dive into the details, I discover various functions that enable efficient device management. By deploying the NinjaOne agent to clients through Active Directory, IT administrators can quickly and accurately oversee servers and endpoints, making it extremely simple to monitor the status of all IT assets.
Additionally, the continuous updates have significantly benefited my SMB group companies, streamlining our IT operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't find any "dislike" about NinjaOne. If I have to say, currently, NinjaOne doesn't have a function showing the Windows quality update version. It would be great if NinjaOne could show such details in the near future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne has been a valuable asset for IT administrators supporting remote users.
Previously, I relied on an on-premises solution for patch management, which made it difficult to manage endpoints that were not connected to the corporate network.
With NinjaOne's cloud-based platform and built-in TeamViewer and NinnaOne Remote, I have significantly improved the success rate of operating system and application updates, leading to higher user satisfaction.

Additionally, in the context of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), this tool enables IT administrators to visualize the acquired company's true operational status without altering its IT environment.
After this visualization, IT admins can develop informed and effective plans for enhancing the acquired company's IT infrastructure.

It Just Works. NinjaOne has a wide varitey of features and they push out new features without breaking anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Ninja team does a reasonable job conserving resources, but as always, it could cost less and be a bit lighter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patch Management takes a lot of stress out of patch weeks. Remote monitoring is a must-have.

On our environment NinjaOne has been helpful to manage multiple systems remotely, push patches and keep track of ticketing, support has always been quick to reply with helpful information, this is a system that is used on a daily basis and has been easy to implement and manage.

Keeping track of requests, managing remote systems, patch management is what get used most on our side and helps when there are many remote locations to manage.

The software is user-friendly, allowing for quick deployment and straightforward installation of the monitoring agent. Tons of features some cleanup still needed

  • February 12, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This Tool provides us with a number of services under one roof.
- OS and Third Party patching
- Remote access tool
- Software management
- Scripting
- Status Monitoring
- Inventory

We were able to save a large amount of money on moving to one tool from a number of others. Besides the savings we are seeing we also have an easy time moving around the tool and making use of the different features. Most of the features are quick to learn and if necessary Ninja provides a large amount of documentation around each one.

Its very quick to implement and has a low resource agent that runs on each endpoint with little to no impact on any end user's daily tasks. We have not received a single issue/ticket that could be related to the NinjaOne agent.

NinjaOne often updates their tool with new and improved feature updates. We see new additions to the tool very often and the already existing features recieve the necessary improvements very quickly.

Customer support is responsive and friendly usually resolving issues or passing to the next level as soon as possible. They also do not lose track of the requests and generally keep an update on the ticket daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
New features coming into the tool sometimes feel like they are first or second draft and often need to be updated in one or more future updates down the road. While this is frustrating in some cases the updates usually come quickly and often include the improvements needed to make it user friendly or add some of the expected abilities around the feature.

There are some necessary abilities missing from the OS Patching feature, such as automated approvals on certain days/weeks of the month as well as better reporting. That being said these are on the roadmap for release and should be seen soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They resolve the Multiple tools to cover issue, 1 roof for multiple functions helps greatly in monitoring and resolving issues.
