Very good software with the best support for partners

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne is an RMM software that is almost perfect for our company to make it easier for us to manage, monitor and manage our customers' endpoints. And if you have any problems or questions, the NinjaOne support team will send you initial assistance within a few hours. This makes daily work much easier
What do you dislike about the product?
NinjaOne supports some Linux distributions such as RedHat, Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS. However, support should be extended to newer and current distributions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinajaOne supports us strongly in the pantch management of the endpoints, as well as in the monitoring of the critical services of the devices and the endpoints. Rolling out customer-requested software is also significantly simplified with NinaOne

What do you like best about the product?
Ninja has helped as from a workload perspective. Reduced the hours we used to spend on machines to being able to manage multiple enpoint in globally at a very decent rate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish it could incoporate Group Policies for remote staff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This biggest issue was first having visual of legacy OS and ensuring devices are getting patched and secondly helped us with asset managment.

I like it, but I still miss something.

Easy to install, if you know how. Powerful monitoring off known devices. Fast in deploying software. Creat custom support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still missing applications to install or update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Setting up standard devices per department and keeping them updated.

A believer since day one!

What do you like best about the product?
Able to manage all assets in one place, easily provide support for remote users, critical updates pushed out.
What do you dislike about the product?
As NinjaOne gets constantly updated, I would like to see more vendors added to the software update list.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During COVID, we all struggled to support our remote users. NinjaOne was implemented during the time when all staff and faculty worked from home. We were able to assist users and minimize any downtime they might have experienced if it wasn't for Ninja.

NinjaOne just makes life easy

What do you like best about the product?
The various system health dashboards let you quickly see what is happening and what needs immediate attention. Automated OS patching means endpoints are kept up to date. Remote monitoring lets me pro-actively get ahead of problems, remote management lets me fix things from anywhere and easy remote control options let me do just about anything. Software deployment and updating is now a breeze. Then you can take all that and develop custom queries showing things like endpoints with OS update problems, users running specific programs across computers and alike. If managing things with PowerShell is your jam, you'll feel right at home.

There are several useful integrations and they're simple as can be. Backup and anti-virus right from the get go, all managed from a single console. Task management for keeping track of your never ending to-do list makes sure jobs don't fall through the cracks. The documentation goes through all available options clearly, and the community support is outstanding.

Even though it's aimed at the MSP market, you'll still feel right at home if you're a business user of any size. Our account manager regularly checks in to see how we're going and let's us know if there's anything newly released that might be helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some options could still be a little more granular, like how policies are applied, but it has improved since I've been using it. Reporting could be more customisable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne takes all the manual drudgery out of managing a fleet of desktop computers and automates just about everything.

Breath of fresh air compared to others

  • October 31, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The interface, support and policies.
The interface is consistent.
The support is responsive
The policies inheritance is excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not so much a dislike. More of a this "needs more work".
Reporting.
I'd really like to see more custom reporting abilities that are similar to the reporting in HaloPSA, which allows custom SQL to be written to get at all the data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Responsive platform for managing endpoints of our clients

It's a little confusing at the start, however you can on board without training

  • October 31, 2023

What do you like best about the product?
Clean UI - Easy to use, very agressively priced over other RMM solution. Able to onboard without expenses like training, down time e.t.c
What do you dislike about the product?
A few very basic features present in other RMMs are missing. The first is hardware inventory, example would be the printers that were installed, the driver it was using and the PORT details. This feature helps to rebuild a computer that failed.
Reporting seems very light.
S1 Integration has a lot to be desired
No BACKING UP OF NAS... only backup TO NAS
No Office 365 Backup... Common issue
No SQL/Exchange granular backup..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seems like there are alot of things suggested via the Feature request and not a lot of them are coming back to us. To be honest, I can't think of a new feature added since we came on board that has changed or made our usage easier/better... however we have only been on board just on 5 months.

NinjaOne makes management of complex computer environments a breeze.

  • October 31, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As soon as we put NinjaOne on a workstation or server we instantly feel like we have the control and information we need to fully manage that device. After customizing the alerts to how we like it, we are instantly aware of anything that needs our attention. Deploying NinjaOne is a breeze and makes it easy to roll out in a large environment. Well integrated remote support tools make it easy to provide support to users and to manage individual computers. Customer support is responsive and quickly escalates complex issues. We use NinjaOne every day in the course of providing our services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some alerts will come in slower than we like. The duplication of VMs and agents in the dashboard can be disorienting and confusing. The network monitoring functions rely on a broken outdated tool, but I've heard a rewrite is in the works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne allows us to monitor and manage our client's computers and servers. It gives us full visibility into the health of systems and allows us to provide immediate support and solutions.

After switching from CW Automate, NinjaOne is a dream!

  • October 30, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
the simplicity of running custom powershell scripts on demand, scheduled, bundled as part of a policy, etc., are fantastic. I haven't fully dived into EVERYTHING it has to offer, though I'm using Ninja Ticketing, integration with a separately purchased CW Control license (which I'll be letting expire due to NinjaOne's FREE integration with TeamViewer, Splashtop, and their built-in Ninja Remote for manual control). I'm just now getting into the MDM and NMS tools, so I'm sure I'll be finding exciting new things I can do via Ninja.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would really like to have is a sizeable file / software repository. I've set up SFTP servers for a few of my clients that have a number of remote workers, but some of them are stuck on relatively slow upload speed cable internet, making deployment of software patches / updates / installs take a while to be pulled from the SFTP server.

If Ninja offered a bucket of data that could be accessed via SFTP or any sort of direct patch setup, that would be a HUGE bonus. They certainly don't NEED to include it, but if I could get 100gb of storage or so that was tightly integrated with their automations/scripts, I'd love it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It lets me pretty easily manage all of my network devices, workstations, servers, updates, and so on. And now that I'm migrating from CW Control to NinjaRemote for direct remote support, it's quickly become my all-in-one support tool.
