Awesome Software!

  • October 30, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that it handles Windows Updates and Application Updates (on a schedule no less).
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to utilize their MDM platform, but they don't have remote control for Android as of yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It lets me deal with keeping endpoints up to date with ease (Microsoft, Adobe, Google, etc). It lets me keep tabs on endpoint AV deployment. It keeps track of my hardware and alerts me if any hardware is too slow or doesn't have enough space.

NinjaOne: Truly of the best RMM platforms for MSPs

  • October 30, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We switched from our previous RMM, one of the top name fully integrated offerings you have heard of, to the newer NinjaOne and are very pleased. Ninja constantly adds new features, has all the integrations we want, and works with third parties well, giving us the flexibility we need to choose the right stack components to service our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few outstanding technical issues with their REST API, and some features I really wish they had to make things like policy management easier, but the complaints are fairly minor and usually have a workaround.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an MSP we need a reliable and powerful RMM and NinjaOne fits that profile perfectly.

Ticks all the boxes

  • October 30, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I tested many differnt RMM platforms and Ninja RMM ticked all the boxes. It was easy to setup and very intutive.
We have been using it for a few years now and it just gets better. It has reduced our management of PC to almost nothing. While give us an online central place to monitor and remotely access each PC. We love it, the team has also been very helpfull and never pushy about upgrading etc. We use it every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have a downside it has been great from day one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patch management and monitoring. We had over 70 PC NUC's in the field running software and had no visabilty. It took hours to run windows updates and we never know if they where even running. Ninja handels all our patch management. Alearts us if they go offline and even restarts services when they stop. We really only scratch the serface with what can be done but for us it has been a game changer.

NinjaOne's dashboards are very informative and easy to use. Their automation scripts are easy to implement. Great customer support and RMM is feature rich.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need better pricing breakdown for current and new services per endpoint. So as to track your expenses and price out your msp offerings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne helps with endpoint management, remote support. It helps us keep on top of any issues that may occur before the client notices and the automation feature help reduce our workload.

NinjaOne has made managing our fleet of computers extremely easy

  • October 30, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to see the state of all of oure computers in one dashboard. I also love being able to instantly start a remote session without any help from the user. The ability to start a remote console session is also extremely useful and has helped me out on more than one occasion. I also like the way the policies are structured and allow me to apply specific settings for the type of computer and the organization it is in. Other major features I like are the reporting and automations. And of course being able to screen and manage Windows updates and patches has made keeping everything up to date a breeze. It was also really easy to implement and integrate in our environment. All we had to do was push out the agent to our endpoints and we were going. The customer support is also exceptional. Anytime we have a question or concern I can email our rep and we get a prompt response. It it definietely something my team and myself use every day and have come to depend one. I could not imagine being able to handle the number of computers we have in our fleet without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have noticed that 3rd party software patching fails a lot, especially with MS Office and Adobe products, but this is not a major issue for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were having an extremely hard time providing remote support to users that were working remotely or that traveled a lot. We were relying on other remote access solutions where we had to walk the user thourgh the process of downloading the software and joining a remote session. It was a huge pain. NinjaOne solves this major issue and now we can just pull up the computer in Ninja and instantly start a remote session. We can also set various alerts and it can notify us of issues before a major problem even happens. Since it has the ability to start a remote PowerShell session I can even occasionally solve problems without even interrupting the user. It has really made it so much easier for us to provide support to our users.

Another big issue we were facing was keeping Windows and other software patched and up to date. Ninja has made this process a breeze and now I can approve specific patches and updates that I want to install.

Everything we need in one place!

  • October 30, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne has made it easy for me to come into an organization that previously had no IT department, and streamline everything I needed to ensure I was able to fully support the organization in a completely remote environment. The integration was easy, their customer support is top notch, and the features they have are more than needed! I use this daily to support my organization, it is so simple to do what needs to be done.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, the only thing I want to see, which they are coming out soon with, is a repository for software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making it easy to manage endpoints in a fully remote enviromment, without having to get the end user involved.

Great Product and keeps getting better

  • October 30, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Having a rep that knows me by name and treats me like a customer and not a number. Randy is always there to help and always on the ball. My former RMM partner not only didn't know my name but treated us like we were a inconvience as we were not some large corporation bring in top dollar.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really want to see Malwarebytes integrated into the interface. Also was not the freindliest interface but deffinalty getting better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall we are able to manage clients endpoints and get to them faster then before.

Ninja is an effective, affordable RMM for SMBs and Enterprise Managment

  • October 30, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne RMM is robust in feature set, but also simple to use. Ninja can deploy, monitor, and manage just about anything you can think of. If it is in the realm of powershell, NInja can handle it. Ninja is very easy to implement. Even out of the box, there are many great monitoring conditions. Software deployment is a breeze, and can be automated in the easy to configure policies. Integrating it in to common apps, such as Autotask, is very easy. Customer support is very responsive, and is great with updates. I have not had many issues that needed support, but they were always there with me from start to end. I use this program daily, and complete most of my day to day work from it.

Update 5/15/2024

Continuing with the theme of simplicity, Ninja has added context-based help. This allows you to get help from a button in the corner of the screen that automatically. THis makes it easy to learn a new pane, or get a quick refresher on a tool you have not used for some time. Definitley a great addition.

Update 2/13/2025

The product continue to see many new script templats and condition improvements. Recent additions include compound conditions, which allow the running of multiple scripts in specific orders, following specific conditions. Imporvements to patching now allow you to monitor last patch install drom a prebuilt condition.
Improvment to WYSIWIG cutom fields llows robust use of HTML to visualized data pulled from a script.

Reporting has improve significantly, no utilizing live-reports with scheduled exports.

Ninja continues to be a prefferred vendor in terms of optation, listening to voices, and implementing services that are wanted and useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more reports, and that you could pull data from a PC with a script, and dump it into a report. Other than that, the platform is solid.

Edit: While there is not a baked in system, I have started using a custom field to grab the data that I want, then use device search to export a CSV report with said data. I would still like something more purpose-built.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were struggling to monitor the uptime of networking equipment. Ninjas NMS keep track of this for us, and reports us when uptime is an issue.

We were having trouble keeping PCs and Servers up to date on their Operating Systems. Ninja now takes care of patching and has never failed us.

update 5/15/2024

We used to run scripts for security remediations manually for WORKGROUP systems and with GPO in domains. We found these to be time-consuming and clunky, respectively. Ninja allows us to orchestra scripts across the system in seconds. The same issue was had with software installation, but that is now shifted to ninja.

We used to rely on user-reported issues to keep PCs running smoothly. With Ninja, issues are detected and automatically remediated. Issues that cannot be remediated automatically are ticketed to us, and we can work on it as needed. Additionally, computer optimization is now automated, and devices rarely see slowness due to uptime, corrupted system files, or bloated temp folders.

Update 2/13/2025

Patching system imporvments not only continue to solve our problem of patching, but have improved our ability to track and monitor patchign life cycels, solving the issue of "not knowing" where problem devices are.
