A solid, simple, modern RMM solution

What do you like best about the product?
UPDATE: We've been using NinjaRMM/NinjaOne since I originally wrote this review and honestly. It just works almost all of the time. A few issues here and there but support is very responsive. At the end of the day, I have other stuff to worry about besides RMM, and I don't really spend any time worrying about Ninja.

We recently migrated to NinjaRMM and I'm really impressed how simple and straightforward it is to set up. It also has a really clean, modern UI which is a big plus compared to some of the more legacy players in the market. Another big plus is that it supports disabling/hiding a lot of features that you don't want to use, which makes it easier to do a phased rollout/implementation. Lastly Ninja's onboarding services were good and their techs were helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
Since it is a newer player on the scene, there's a lot of rapid development going on, so some things you'd expect from a more established product might be not-exactly-how-you'd-expect-it, and you're waiting on their (tbf, pretty rapid) development cadence to catch up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use RMM for primiarly two things:

1) Device Management - obvious, but bares stating. There's a lot of RMM products out there and NinjaOne ticks off all the things you'd expect from an RMM product, and it's fairly simple/straightforward.

2) End user device access- ever since COVID, there's an expectation that users have a simple and straightforward way to remotely access their work devices. NinjaOne's end-user remote access support is both of those things, and we're looking forward to some enhancements coming down the line (namely SSO for end-user accounts).

Lastly, NinjaOne has a pretty simple system tray icon that can be fully customized/whitelabeled. We weren't expecting this, but we like that we can use it to make end-user communication a bit simpler.

So much functionality in an extremely user-friendly interface!

What do you like best about the product?
You can run powershell commands as the logged in user! Clickable dashboard and a consistant update schedule and a remarkable uptime. This company is phenominal. Our Account Manager (Sam) is fantastic as well!!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more support for Linux devices and their patching control could use some work, such as more control and being able to hide the Updates menu.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick, approachable usability for managing thousands of devices. This is a central tool for our automations.

Fantastic Product That Listens To Customers

  • October 30, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We love the product that implements ideas that we have into the system. When we wanted certain features such as install a product, or have certain reporting measures, they were coming out with that either in a few weeks or months or already had it. The support staff is excellent and willing to help all the time even if it's a simple answer. Patch management compliance is a great feature we love to look at as a daily reporting. Overall would recommend this product to anyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features aren't able to work at the moment and patch management is great but sometimes it doesn't seem to apply. It will tell you it doesn't work at the moment or failed. Even though it may have applied the patch it doesn't remove it from the system. This is a small thing that only happens on those pesky LG Laptops or Asus Laptops.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IT assset management and monitoring all systems. This keeps it ease of use to our top priority. We have a dashboard that will tell us system statuses and handle each issue quickly.

Great Times Ahead

  • October 30, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The free form scripting mode. For anything third party not supported we can build out our own updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Third party patching library has a bunch of outdated apps no longer used. Overhaul that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not 100% sure. I just joined a month ago and we don't go live until January 1st. That being said, I like that NinjaOne is planning to overhaul 3rd party patching and LOVE that you allow your client-base to help guide what features should be deployed.

NinjaOne is a solid product

  • October 30, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne is great for patching, they are coming around with more integrations too. Always new product updates, that seem to be helpful in most cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product is still fairly new and still needs work on items like reporting and finding data from your machines. But its coming around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its giving us access to see our machines and patch them. Making sure we keep them up to date. This makes our lives easier as an IT Admin.

Powerful tools, simple interface

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is simple and intuitive. It is not cluttered - finding and using tools is easy. The toolset is comprehensive and with the addition of documentation, backup, and AV it lets us slim our stack. Between it and our ticketing system, it is a tool that is used all day every day for all customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it integrated with our current ticketing system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy solution that combines our most commonly needed tasks into a single interface.
