NinjaRMM as a Remote IT Support Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The rapid and effective customer support in addition to the easy to navigate user interface. Additionally, the bitdefender integration makes it very easy to check crucial aspects of hardware security, stability, and health from the main dashboard without generating overwhelming information until the user chooses to dig deeper into a particular computer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The two aspects I disliked were our initial issues with TeamViewer integration (this was fixed by migrating to Splashtop and we haven't had issues since) and the fact that there is not built in function to delete a windows update across all devices. I believe that, given the inherent instability of Windows recently, this would be a fantastic feature that would save loads of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we were able to solve using NinjaRMM was providing remote IT support while working from home due to COVID-19. However, following my return, NinjaRMM continued to be useful in monitoring our computers health, keeping our tech inventory up to date, gathering information needed for major network changes, and boosting the security of our entire system. Lastly, NinjaRMM's integration with splashtop gave us the ability to allow end users to remote into work computers from home increasing their flexibility and capability.
NinjaRMM at School
What do you like best about the product?
Solid reporting and fairly easy to add devices.
Once monitoring is set up, I very much appreciate the SMS alerting feature!
Once monitoring is set up, I very much appreciate the SMS alerting feature!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the alerts were a little more customizable/granular. I also would like a pricing model design to make it attractive to add all my devices. (Right now we only have a select number of items due to cost.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I really like that the alerting runs from the cloud - this lets us know there are issues even if we lose connectivity.
Best RMM Platform and Support
What do you like best about the product?
If You are new on the world of Managed services, Ninja Support will grab your hand and walked You through the process, i think the key for a good platform is a good support and that's exactly what you will get from Ninja. the fact that they are partnering with Team Viewer makes it perfect for troubleshooting and address issues faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their platform can get confusing at a times, but they are constantly improving on that, If you don't pay attention on the steps you might find yourself lost on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You can Remote on customers with TeamViewer or Slapshot, run scripts and open CMD without remoting on customer PC which makes it really convenient. Also if there is a project you want to accomplished, you can always contact their support and their support will be able to guide You for a best result; the status of the machines is another thing that you will be able to watch live, the fact that they have two remote engines helps a lot, if for some reason that day TeamViewer don't want to work, you can always enable slapshot, push the software and then remote from there, get the support to your client done and bring everything back the way you had previously configured. You can always address issues with scripts and after hours to don't interrupt your clients, You can also monitor firewalls with public static ip's and have a notifications to now if there is a problem with the line.

Ninja RMM Review
What do you like best about the product?
Easy of use and general functionality over the other RMMs that I have used. I also really enjoy the Tasks feature as it has made installing software across multiple systems a very easy thing.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have a file distribution feature so that I don't always have to have a script.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Installing software across a whole 600+ end-user company was a breeze with the tasks feature. This made the deployment of several software installs take roughly an hour versus several days to a week.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a shot!! Our account manager, Adam, is great Very helpful when I have questions and will always transfer any issues he can't explain or figure out on his own, over to tech support which has gotten back with me within a few hours. Adam has even pushed a few ideas that I had for more features up to the design team to see if they can implement them in the near future
Best RMM at an amazing price

I'm able to organize all my clients and all of their devices with NinjaRMM, also am able to use / share the URLs to show coworkers which PCs are having issues.
I have all my clients up to date on Microsoft Windows 10 patches, Microsoft Windows 8.1 patches, Microsoft Windows 8 patches, and Microsoft Windows 7 patches. I also have my clients on Microsoft Windows Server 2019 fully patched. Microsoft Windows Server 2016 as well are fully patched, Microsoft Windows Server 2012 are also patched

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure NinjaRMM is what you want, and offers what you need. Not everyone can deal with not having full BitDefender integration, and not everyone can deal with not having Linux support currently.
Simple, easy and powerful
What do you like best about the product?
CMD and Powershell commands, integrations with A/V and customization alerts, Mobile app is very useful as well
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there was a larger community for sharing scripts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation patching and updates. Being able to deploy custom scripts across an organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time set up properly, make proper use of the dashboard
Powerful and Easy to Use. Manage your endpoints like a Ninja.
What do you like best about the product?
We used another RMM, and it was painful to set up and deploy software without blowing up systems. It got so bad that when a zero-day came out, we had to run to every site and patch computers (sneaker-net). Ninja One has been great. We patch and manage all of our sites and computers. It's easy to set up and use. The support team is great and very helpful. I like the fact that new improvements and implementations are always coming out. I also have the NinjaOne app on my iPhone, so I can patch and get the alerting right there. Ninja One works well with our ticketing system. Just waiting on some new implementations to make it even better.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not look the greatest when compared to other RMMs, but it's a sleeper. It is a powerful tool and has so much capability. I prefer functionality over looks any day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to patch all my windows and 3rd party software. It does not have every software but has the majority of them. It also patches the firmware and is easy to execute the patching. I also like the fact I can get into the backside of the systems and work on registry or files without impacting the user. I also like the scripting power (Bash and Powershell). I wished it could output results, but it is a great tool. For me, I see a lot of potential in this software and its ease of use.
I am a one-man IT department, and I approve this message.

What do you dislike about the product?
- during the two week trial, i was unable to use the platform for a few days straight. their support reps assisted me with these problems, and after an update, i no longer had issues. because I was unable to use the product for a couple of days, they rectified this by extending my trial by an extra two weeks. that has been the only hiccup during my 7 months of experience with Ninja. The representatives reach out regularly to announce feature updates or to ask if SysAdmins like myself need any help with any of their offered features. It feels good to have them care about their clients' successes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-remote management of our hardware, many of them are more than 5 years old. I keep tabs on the systems to see if any hard drives are too full, or any OSes are outdated.
-i run remote scripts in powershell regularly. Its great to be able to run a script on a workstation in the background, while the user can still use the PC.
-I run this on the server we have to monitor all the information about it, and make sure that if anything fishy happens that I didnt approve, such as user creation or deletion, i am alerted.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand what you need in an RMM. lots of RMMs are feature rich, but don't really excel in the features that your organization needs. Ninja, i think, follows the 'more is less' philosphy. in my opinion, they dont necessarily have all the features that exist in the world of rmm, but the features that they do have (which are a lot) they do very well. nothing has broken in my use of it for the past 7 months.
Great RMM solution for us!
What do you like best about the product?
They continue to innovate and update the product but it remains easy for my one-person shop to maintain. Documentation is good and the rare times I've contacted support they have been very helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited options with the version of Splashtop provided
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing clients networks and providing remote support and remote access for clients remote workers. It allows me to manage many clients but only see the essential alerts, other packages I have tried required too much routine interaction.
