Intuitive and Feature-Rich, But Authentication Timeout Frustrates
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and very intuitive with many very useful features
What do you dislike about the product?
The authentication time period needs to be edited so it doesn't keep logging Technicians out so quickly and often
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remotely working on other users laptops including patching and other useful features.
Effortless Estate Management Made Simple
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of managing our Desktop and Server estate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some Windows/Software patches that are installed aren't automatically retrying when failed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating our patch management for our server estate and end user devices. It is also allowing us to remotely access the users laptops so we are able to effectively support our staff wherever they are in the world.
User-Friendly with Advanced Options, Needs Better Patch Control
What do you like best about the product?
Ninjaone is very user friendly, while also giving the option for more refined options and administrative nuance.
What do you dislike about the product?
More control over patching for OS and software needs to be made.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining all users endpoints on the same version of OS and software is very important for us to ensure that everyone is being kept HIPPA compliant.
Custom Script Saving Makes Workflow a Breeze
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can save custom scripts and deploy them as needed
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I can't make custom groups for deployments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RMM mainly. We used to use WFRM, but NinjaOne has more features
Effortless Automation and Management, Minor Endpoint Status Glitch
What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne has truly impressed me, from its straightforward implementation to its user-friendly interface. Everything I require to manage and support my endpoint devices is available within NinjaOne. I rely on it daily for my system administration tasks, and I think what I appreciate most is how simple it is to set up automations for nearly any task.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawback I have encountered with NinjaOne so far is that sometimes endpoints do not show as online, even though they are actually online and the service is running. This can be quite inconvenient when it comes to managing remote endpoints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main advantage I find with NinjaOne is its ability to let me remotely configure and deploy scripts for a wide range of tasks, whether that's uninstalling programs, installing new ones, or handling anything in between.
Vital Product That Empowered Our IT Team
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the modern UI and ease of use. It makes it very simple for IT admins to organize clients. I also like the breadth of tools that Ninja has for administering these endpoints.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, their tools don't always work. Some automations can have trouble running at times - when it works it is great, but when it does not work, it can force you either to wait until it does or just do the task manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before, we did not have the insight into our environment that we do with NinjaOne. NinjaOne has allowed our IT department to provide IT service in a quicker and more organized fashion. On top of this, their patching is pretty top notch and we are now able to have peace of mind knowing our endpoints have software and OS patches taken care of automatically. The automation scripts and software deployments have become baked into IT processes and have turned what used to be 30 minute tasks into one click.
Excellent RMM Features, But Ticketing Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The RMM tool is very useful, it has many features which make it a great RMM. The device information provided from the tool is very well laid out making usability very easy to learn for the end user.
What do you dislike about the product?
NinjaOne Ticketing still needs a lot of work, it's not so intuitive and to create notifications for agents or simple things like this it's very complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to view information about all of our devices easily. We also have our RMM tool and helpdesk system through NinjaOne so unifies our systems. We're pushing out Windows updates through NinjaOne so increasing the security of our devices through the tool which is helpful.
Effortless Troubleshooting and Patch Management—A Game Changer for Small Teams
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, and having so much information available to help us troubleshoot an issue before even gettin onto an end users device. Also the patch management and being able to deploy software has been a game changer for my small team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of at the moment. The feature we require for our work work just fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I would say that agentless remote connectivity is one of the best features available. The ability to assist an end user without requiring their physical presence has been extremely helpful.
Reliable and Frequently Updated, But Backup Features Need Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
These guys are constantly updating their product, and they pretty much just work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Backups work, but are missing features such as ignoring files/folders in image backups, and being able to browse a backup to determine what's in the backup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Although the backup is missing features, it's great for backing up all our user data. The Windows Patch management is excellent, the remote support is excellent, and MDM is coming along nicely.
Not all it's cracked up to be
What do you like best about the product?
We like that NinjaOne is able to manage different platforms. They do provide 1:1 training. The system is, for the most part, user-friendly when setting up.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are several components that are available on other platforms, but not available on NinjaOne. Wallpaper for MDM devices is one. Our other dislike is how many components require US to create a script to perform the task. When asking if NinjaOne could perform certain tasks, we were told yes. Then, in training and asking about those specific tasks, we were shown where to input the script. The trainer didn't even know (nor would they) explain how to create the script.
Our other issue is that our mobile devices are connecting, but slow to implement policy changes. Those policy changes implement best after powering down & then back up, however, that defeats the "no contact" purpose of NinjaOne.
Our other issue is that our mobile devices are connecting, but slow to implement policy changes. Those policy changes implement best after powering down & then back up, however, that defeats the "no contact" purpose of NinjaOne.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to easily manage our mobile devices. Ensuring patch management is about the best thing I can say about NinjaOne right now.
