Seamless Remote Access, But Dashboard Customization Needs Improvement

  • October 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Lately, I have really enjoyed the remote aspect of Ninja. Works seamlessly and doesn't require the user to install anything more than just the NINJARMMAGENT.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish it was easier to customize the main dashboard to things I am actively wanting at all times. Sure that could be updated easily down the line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the MDM issue we were having and allowing for it to be seamless for all of us in the department.

Intuitive and Reliable Automation, Minor Search and Sorting Frustrations

  • October 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and very intuitive for day to function. Plenty of automation features to make recurring tasks simple and reliable.

It's well organized so it's generally easy to find what feature you're looking for, and the global search including administration settings in the results makes that easier as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are just a handful of small quality of life things that don't have a major impact, but just make you sigh.

Particularly some of the search and sorting functions. For example, looking at a client's dashboard, there are two search bars, the global and client specific. The client specific only lets you search by device name instead of IP, or username like the global one does.

I wish we could sort by custom fields to make tracking down certain criteria easier.

It would be nice to be able to customize the dashboard. For example, in our environment, our techs have a handful of clients we are each responsible for. It would be nice to make a custom dashboard containing just my clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving us a consolidated way to manage as many aspects of our client's IT infrastructure as possible.

Ninja: Excellent Remote Player, Just Missing Dark Mode

  • October 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use for Ninja is easily the best part about it for me. The actual remote player is one of the best I have ever used with very low latency and any option I could ever want or need while working with a client.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, my only real complaint with Ninja is that there is no dark mode - I know it is likely of minimum importance to the team, but a dark mode would be my top request feature wise, looking at the white and blue is just hard on the eyes all day I usually keep a tab that has dark mode open just to save the eyes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The need for a consistent and managed remote software.

Great All-in-One IT Portal, but Miss the TV Integration

  • October 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Support team are great and having almost everything in one portal is something that i've wanted in IT for many years. Everything is generally fairly straightforward to implement and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Removing TV integration was a move that we weren't particularly happy with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notification fatigue is a real problem and keeping everything in one portal goes some way to help that.

Smooth Remote Desktop and Handy Automation, but Occasional Service Issues

  • October 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The remote desktop experience feels smoother and easier to navigate than other ones that I have used. Automation is a life saver, pushing out scripts at the touch of a button.
What do you dislike about the product?
In a few cases, we have had issues with the NinjaRMM service not running. This makes it difficult to manage certain devices that are shown as offline, but that wasn't the case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to quickly get on a user's desktop and identify/solve their problem. Or ninja one allows me to solve problems before the user is aware of it.

Flexible and Powerful RMM with Excellent Support, but a Steep Learning Curve

  • October 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne RMM is an impressively flexible platform. After installing the agent, you gain access to detailed information about your devices, and there are several ways to deploy or interact with your machines. The script deployment tool is excellent, and the NinjaOne Remote stands out as the most stable and seamless solution I have used.

It does take some time to become familiar with all the available tools, their features, and the various use cases, but the Ninja Dojo offers a wealth of information to help you learn. The support from NinjaOne is also outstanding. I have had multiple sessions with their engineers, who have guided me through achieving specific tasks.

I particularly appreciate how simple it is to trial new products. You can just toggle them on and start testing right away, without needing to seek approval from anyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Figuring out where to begin can be challenging, especially with the many different approaches available for managing your devices. Determining the most effective method for your particular platform often involves some trial and error, particularly when it comes to setting up alerts. Certain tasks can also be quite complicated. For example, while you can use a script to interact with the NinjaOne agent and extract specific information to populate custom fields, I found this process to be rather time-consuming. Although the Dojo provided an article on the topic, it was somewhat outdated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote access to devices has been a major benefit for me. It enabled me to replace the enterprise version of Teamviewer, and NinjaRemote offers practical tools right from the start, including elevated permission prompts, the ability to lock end user controls, and file transfer capabilities.

NinjaOne also provides valuable reporting information, such as device health and performance metrics across the entire fleet. This has been helpful when supporting business cases for new or replacement devices.

Additionally, I find the software deployment feature very useful, and it operates much faster than InTune in my experience.

What do you dislike about the product?
The onboarding and setup process at the beginning can feel somewhat overwhelming, especially if you don't have previous experience.

Faster Support Response,
Secure and Reliable Connectivity,
Streamlined Software Deployment,
Scalable Rollout,
