Efficient IT Management with NinjaOne, but Reporting and Pricing Need Improvement

  • October 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne stands out for its clean, intuitive interface and strong automation capabilities that simplify IT management. It offers fast, reliable remote access, powerful patch management across Windows, macOS, and third-party software, and unified endpoint management that reduces tool sprawl. Combined with responsive support and easy onboarding, NinjaOne is valued for being efficient, lightweight, and ideal for streamlining both MSP and in-house IT operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some users dislike that NinjaOne’s reporting features are limited and not very customizable. Mac patching and automation can be inconsistent, and pricing is considered high for smaller organizations. While support is generally good, response times can vary, and certain features—like the built-in ticketing system and mobile app—lack the depth and functionality found in other tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne solves key IT management challenges by centralizing monitoring, patching, automation, and remote support into one platform. It reduces the need for multiple tools, streamlines routine maintenance, and helps proactively address issues before they disrupt users. This saves time, improves security through consistent patching, and enhances efficiency by allowing technicians to manage endpoints quickly and remotely—all of which lead to smoother operations and reduced downtime.

NinjaOne: Unified Platform with Strong Automation, but Limited Customization for Advanced Needs

  • October 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We value NinjaOne for its unified platform that brings monitoring, patching, remote access, and automation into a single, efficient console. It provides real-time visibility across all client systems, allowing us to identify and remediate issues before they become business disruptions. NinjaOne’s automation and reporting tools help enforce compliance and document every action, reinforcing our white-glove, security-driven service model.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our main frustrations with NinjaOne stem from its limited customization options and reporting flexibility compared to enterprise-grade systems. Some integrations, particularly for advanced billing, PSA workflows, and compliance reporting, require workarounds or manual effort. In addition, NinjaOne’s automation engine, while powerful, can feel constrained when building complex conditional workflows that we would prefer to tailor more precisely to each client environment. There is an issue with false positive reporting for vulnerbilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne helps us solve the challenge of managing and securing diverse client environments with consistency and precision. It centralizes monitoring, patching, and alerting, reducing the risk of missed vulnerabilities or unnoticed system failures. By automating maintenance, software updates, and remediation tasks, it eliminates repetitive manual work and ensures every endpoint meets Roark’s compliance and security standards. Most importantly, it enables Roark to deliver proactive, white-glove service across all clients, catching issues early and maintaining uptime without disruption.

Great onboarding and feature rich

  • October 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The onboarding process with Shemika Howard was very informative and helpful to show the extent of all Ninja has to offer in terms of features. Without the onboarding, I would have had no clue what 90% of the features were and would have had to figure them out by myself and I am extremely lazy.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest issue with ninja is more as an issue with Macs, but the limitations compared to windows machines can be a bit frustrating at times. Since the Mac issue isn't something Ninja can help, another thing I'm not a huge fan of is the new update moving certain features around, but that's just due to comfort and familiarity that I'll get over eventually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our previous RMM was very sketchy with communication and pulling features without any warning. Not having to worry about being misled or getting proper support in times of stress is a huge relief. I haven't been using ninja for long, but the transition was quick, easy, and painless.

NinjaOne - Powerful, Intuitive, and Scalable Product

  • October 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The interface and overall design are user-friendly, and the platform offers powerful capabilities for device and patch management. It’s very easy to check a device’s status at a glance and find everything you need to troubleshoot issues quickly. Using the RMM for remote troubleshooting is especially convenient. The remote control tools are also reliable and fast, which makes day-to-day support smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
I evaluated the functionality of the ticketing system, and my initial impression is that it offers limited customization options and feels somewhat overpriced. Beyond that, I don’t have much else to add yet from using it, but I am thinking about native disaster recovery and slightly more advanced reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backup solution and instant RMM. It helps eliminate manual, repetitive tasks through automated patch management, software deployment, and scripting, which reduces human error and improves IT productivity. This benefits organizations by improving security, enhancing device performance, reducing downtime, and providing real-time visibility into their IT infrastructure.

Great Policy Management and Features, Much Better Than Competitors

  • October 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The management, policy, and "pyramid" policy structure is one of my favorite parts, alongside the nice features like live console. We attempted using other RMMs like ConnectWise and were extremely unhappy with the glitchiness, missing features, and overall less capable platforms. We have deployed this across our entire fleet and have switched our entire teams remote access to it. Deploying the RMM agent is extremely easy with the installer. I have had to use customer support once or twice and each time they have been super helpful and quick to respond. This again, compares from previous experiences with other companies, that had less than stellar support to say the least.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest gripe I have had with ninjaOne so far is with End Users - Even when adding an End User to a company, I have to manually assign computers to them. I do wish that was more automated. I would also love to see the use of Ninja AI in the script creation tool - Would be really nice to have some additional AI help with building scripts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a wide range of PC's with less than knowledgable users. Its extremely beneficial to be able to implement automatic things like emptying of the recycling bin, clearing caches, reboots, etc. To keep their PC's working as expected. Its also nice to be able to install software without their input, get notifications when they do something that we don't want them to be doing(like installing other softwares), and being able to remote in at a moments notice. The prebuilt script library has saved a lot of time with things like account management and computer setup as well. While we havent really looked into Backups, its something I have my eye on as well.

Great Asset Management, But Lacks Support and Reasonable Pricing

  • October 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I can see all of my assets in one location. I can remote in to devices to solve user problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of any support or training. When we first bought the product we were thrown into the deep end. Any training is behind another login wall. Pricing on Ninjas ticketing system was just absurd. We have found support somewhat lacking. Overall it is hard to get a new support engineer trained in the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This allows us to quickly see devices that are missing updates. The software allows us to remote in to fix user issues when nessceary.

Great for Windows Automation, But Alert Reduction Is Frustrating

  • October 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One console to control multiple resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime, when trying to use the remoteone, for supporting our users it prompts multiple times to download and install it, even after supporting multiple people in the same hour.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patch management, getting a report of our patch management for the entire network pc and servers.

Intuitive and Easy Transition from Teamviewer

  • October 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is intuitive and simple to use. The transfer from Teamviewer was simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am missing some of the features that we had with Teamviewer like switch hosting positions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are required to have full software version documentation.

NinjaOne Makes IT Management Effortless

  • October 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about NinjaOne is how streamlined and centralized everything is. The dashboard gives a clear overview of all our endpoints, and remote access is fast and stable, saving me countless trips between buildings. The automation features are another major plus - whether it’s pushing software updates or running scripts. As someone switching to NinjaOne for the first time, I was impressed at how quickly I caught on. The platform is intuitive and lightweight, making it easy to get up to speed right away. Overall, it’s an excellent RMM solution to simplify endpoint management

Also sentinelOne integration has been great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the automation scripts I’d like—such as enabling BitLocker—aren’t available out of the box, and certain advanced features could be expanded to give more control over device management.

More features to Apple MAC MDM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne is solving several critical IT challenges for our school district. Remote access is fast and reliable, which saves countless trips between buildings and reduces downtime. The platform’s automation features like pushing software updates and running scripts handle repetitive tasks automatically, freeing up my time for higher-priority work.
