The future of construction
What do you like best about the product?
Procore allows us to effectively collaborate with internal and external team members. It provides a one stop shop for sharing and communicating all project documents. As a general contractor we require our subcontractors to login and use Procore. Now all users can see the latest drawing addenda or submittal revisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
When a submittal is marked as "revise and re-submit", Procore should automatically create a new revision for that submittal. There should also be an option you can select in the RFI response that requires a "RFI Re-submittal Required". There are instances when there are multiple revisions to one RFI. If RFI's could have a "PMI" (provide more information) response then it could automatically generate a revision in procore for that RFI. Procore should also have a feature that automatically sends out emails to the assigned subcontractor contact for when their submittals and RFI's are overdue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For years I always thought it was frustrating to not be able to save files directly from outlook into Procore. I always had to save files locally and then upload to procore. This issue was resolved a couple of years ago and it has saved me much time and hard drive space.
Simple & Reliable
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of navigating throughout the software. Everything is displayed and user firendly to access even without much experience with the software and the trainign & how to guides for all types of users is handy.

Inductions - could try make this simpler

The simplicity of having all information & data in one place. This is both internally & for external subcontractors
False Advertisement of Products, Integration and Terrible Customer Service / Management
What do you like best about the product?
Products and software integration demo from sales team looked amazing. 6-weeks after purchase, integration team unable to deliver on the sales team integration that was shown to customer. Customer service, and managment team refused to negotiate any resolution or refund until BBB complaint was filed. Been sitting 3-weeks now without resolution after BBB complaint. Software was purchased on 2/27/24 for over $21K, now 3-months lost without even being able to integrate the software. Already lost almost $6k of the subscription waiting on Procore to own up to their mistakes, and software issues. Procore Management ethics are questionable, as they deferred us out 3-weeks claiming legal is now involved and no authority to resolve, nor refund the services. Now that I just requested a full refund for the entire $21,500.00, same managment personnel in emails the last 3-weeks now has the ability to refund the amount for the bad software connector. So the refund amount changes, and now this guy is willing to refund and resolve the matter... choose carefully, the management tactics are very questionable as they claim they would have negotiated before the BBB complaint was filed. The negotiation was clear over email, no possible refund, but only a possible "discount" may be given upon renewal of services next February. As long as they get paid for an additional year of services, then they might discount the services they were required to deliver upon this initial contract.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sales team upsold us with QB Connector, but failed to deliver the same functionality as shown. Sales team showed capability of QB (Online only) connector integration, using many cost codes, and the product database with labor / material. Never disclosed QB Desktop connector doesn't have the same functionality until 1.5 months after purchase when implementing software. Implementation service team finally discloses can't use the various cost codes, but also requires user to separate all material and labor for all database items, causing double the time to bid projects. Procore management refuses to respond, sitting now for 3-weeks without any communication for resolution. Software is unable to be used, and can't integrate any ERP for budgets, bids, and completely useless. Beware of this for small business owners, Procore management will strong arm you, even when their Terms and Conditions state refund is applicable when they misrepresented their product capability, therefore costing you an additional $2k for software you can't use. They will hold out and cost you money each week, after being notified through BBB of compliant, and refusing to acknowledge their own integration issues.

Was suppose to solve and expedite bidding and project managment. Due to issues with software integration, customer service and management, 3-months of subscription costs have been wasted with no resolution.

What do you like best about the product?
Document viewing and search functionality
What do you dislike about the product?
Document submittal is a bit clunky, particularly the review process. Not having all correspondence in one location (i.e. RFIs, general correspondence etc) is a bit of a nuisance at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Issuing of defects and observations is centralised and available to anyone who is given access. The daily reminders are also great to keep track of what is open.

Good content with easy ish to understand content and frequency of use.

Too much content that is simliar and does not go back to previous aspects

Lack of knowledge

Can be abused by bad actors which requires a lot of unnecessary communication, back and forth with A/E and subcontractors

One Stop Shop
What do you like best about the product?
I like the Procore can be a one stop shop for our teams to view project management information and financials. The integration we have with our ERP allows our construction project teams to work in Procore and our financial teams to work in the ERP.
What do you dislike about the product?
Enhancements to current tools is overshadowed by the implemention of new tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One, easy to use,tool to complete various tasks versus learning multiple tools. Our teams are able to collaborate efficiently which saves us time and money.

that itallows our company to have all the stuff for the different jobs organized and places easy to find at all times

Great Organization
What do you like best about the product?
Its organization and ease of accessing information. It is also easy to add and remove features that you want and dont need. Integration is simple. Support is always there when you need it. We implemented into our entire company. The use of the program is used throught the day with its ease of orgainization and all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Change order process is a little tricky. Would also like to be able to customize templates when downloading out of Procore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps everything orginaized and up to date. As long as the PM uploads the info its is always the latest and greatest info for the field.
