Procore
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy the markup tools are to use on the project documents in the Drawings tab within Procore for RFIs. I can even hyperlink relevant RFIs and Submittals to our Agendas for easy access during meetings or pull reports of open items in those and other sections to review with our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
We occasionally experience syncing issues, so clear communication about when changes are being made to things like our Meeting Agendas or Minutes is critical. We do also notice that Procore like any program or software does sometimes have brief outages or runs slowly with too many different tabs open.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore allows us to manage much of the necessary files for each project within a platform that everyone can access based on our preferred settings. We can share project materials like Drawings with all of our subcontractors, but some options and areas within the Project Tools allow for more confidential storage and communication.
Organized, easy to learn and implement.
What do you like best about the product?
For our company we needed to get a handle on documentation control, financial control, organization, and obtaining safety and quality issues resolved under one umbrella. The courses helped us learn how to use the program and the 7 weeks of training via zoom.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I can't see any issues, however being able to have a chat box to communicate instantly with others would be an amazing feature since emails can take far longer to get answers about more minor or immedate issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business was working with only QuickBooks, and One Drive even with expansions taking place. As the company continues to grow, we needed to find a software program that suits the most immediate needs and future needs we are forcasting that will be neccessary. Rather than switching from one software to another it was vital to look for the right program that can grow with us and we can grow with. Organization, financials, quality, and safety was getting harder to be accurate which ProCore has given us the opprotunity to fix a lot of issues within our business.
Procore is an effective tool to streamline the management of construction projects
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to manage the daily documentation for our construction projects and the ability for all project team members to collaborate on the project to view, edit and share documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike about Procore. One wish we do have is the ability to get read receipts when pay apps are sent out via Procore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore gives us the ability to have all construction documents in one place, for all team members to access and collaborate on. The documents we collaborate most on in Procore are meeting minutes, proposed change orders, submittals, RFIs, contracts, schedules, drawings and pay requests. We also like the fact that we can view the progress of each construction project in real time.

Ability to easily link RFI's to specific locations on drawings

Too many choices for too many disiplines

The inability to bulk edit workflows that are in-process

submittal management. Once the subcontractors learn how to use the software, I can manage the submittals without stacks of paper
Have used this platform for many years.
What do you like best about the product?
Great for the overall management of your projects. Allows you to track and keep up with current drawings. The ability to use this on a tablet and phone in the field is helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hope there will eventually be better tools to mark up your drawings. currently, I have to open Bluebeam to do this, which is an extra step I would rather not take.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm not aware that procore is solving issues. If they are, that's great; I just don't know what they would be. For me, it would be the ability to mark up drawings.

What do you like best about the product?
How all my stiff is one location. It is nice being able to download plans
What do you dislike about the product?
Does crash a bit though. Thats where the downloading comes in handy

It allows me to have the current set of plans to build off of

What do you like best about the product?
Procore is easy to use and provides all the main tools needed to manage a project. The technical support service is awesome and very quick to answer questions
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a little pricy in regards to yearly subscription and adding other services that are offered
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great tool for submittals, daily reports, drawing, RFI tracking and pictures. The ability to share all this information with the key personel is great!
Efficient Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
The submittal process, when done correctly, works very well. I like the assignment feature to an individual and how the system automatically notifies the next person in the queue.
What do you dislike about the product?
Uploading drawings can be a confusing process at times. I wish you could rename the files after they have been uploaded. I also experienced a hiccup where the "auto organizer" labeled two different sheets with the same sheet number. I will need to go through another couple of uploading processes to get a better understanding on how the "auto organizer" works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a single place to have all of the sub-consultant drawings located AND being able to view them without downloading them is a great benefit to the whole team.

The way you can organize, coordinate and be able to update any files on a flash!

There's really nothing so far, I love the process!
