Great for shop drawing submittals and info tracking
What do you like best about the product?
It's great to have a central platform where all information is stored. We use it to track our shop drawing submittals and approvals, RFIs, Transmittals, and the correspondence tool is great for internal work orders.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of email notifications and there can be a lot of confusion around permissions and settings to finetune user experience. Additionally, I'd like to see a PDF markup tool within the submittal tool and a workflow within the correspondence tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit for my department is the shop drawing tool and the tracking of shop drawing approvals. Its great to have a central location for all internal and external team members to find all the information in one place.

Easy to learn, easy to use, always improving
What do you like best about the product?
We started using Procore 2 years ago. It has been easy for most people to learn, easy to manage, and offers powerful standardization across the company. They make forward thinking updates based on real feedback. The training resources and videos are very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customization of forms is too restrictive, expensive, and time consuming. I would like to see some user driven permission to customize forms, make small changes, etc. For example, if I need to make one formatting change to our subcontract template, I have to buy custom hours and wait for 1-2 weeks thru the process. Instead, I choose to save up my edits to make them worth the time and effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Standardization of process and templates. Easy to find information. Excellent drawings, spec, photo tools. One stop interface for submittals, change orders, subcontracts, budgets, and JTD costs.
Exactly what we needed
What do you like best about the product?
The biggest payoff for us with Procore is document management and coordination model distribution and access. Modern construction is seeing plan updates and new information being distributed on an almost daily basis for a single project. Procore allows us to update these documents for the field personnel in real-time and ensure there is no cofusion over what the current plans are. The Models tool is a huge game changer for us. The ability to make the 3D coordination models available to the field on their devices in an easy-to-use interface has changed the way we look at installation and compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to link our Procore to another company's Procore for the same project. It would be helpful if RFI's entered on the general contractor's Procore site could be linked to appear in our own as they are tracked and answered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore is making 3D models easily accessible and usable for our field personnel on their mobile devices and simplifying the tracking of as-built conditions by being able to mark them on the drawing and publish them to other users for further processing.
Procore helps us to run projects more efficiently.
What do you like best about the product?
The mobile apps allow access to needed information in the field.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we would have had some 1 on 1 training when first implementing. The information is there you just have to access in small pieces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think that the drawings management tool along with organizing submittals and RFI's benefits me the most by keeping these organized and up to date.
Procore Daily Log use
What do you like best about the product?
The daily log tool is imperative to our communication with the field and GC. Having one place to put all of our information is great. Other companies have multiple applications to get the same info that Procore has in one tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all companies use Procore. Being able to integrate/link Subcontractor and GC Procore would be helpful. We could use this to cut down on doing things twice.

Having all of our tools in one application is the most beneficial.

The layout is user-friendly. Allows for ease in gathering and issuing information.

It can be difficult at times to locate documents.

Procore allows for real-time access to updated drawings to our field personnel where it is most needed. This saves time and money, which is important.

Project Management Document Control
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Procore for several years now and it has greatly helped with all aspect of project management document control. Any time the engineering team or the design team responds to an RFI, approves a change order, or updates the drawings, i can review those changes and update the jobsite. It keeps all the contractors and the design up to speed with the latest documents
What do you dislike about the product?
I have yet to find the negative aspects to Procore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore is helping me solve the issues with updated drawings and document control, since it keeps in sync with the design teams. We no longer have to worry if we are working off an old set of drawings.

What do you like best about the product?
Procore manages the entire construction process from start to finish in one platform. Procore integrates with so many other applications including Microsoft Office and a variety of other tools. It can be set up to automatically alert the team to drawing changes, schedule updates and handles the entire bidding process seamlessly.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I have experienced with Procore is the difficulty integrating the older generation who is far less computer literate in the construction industry. A sparse implementation would help to give to site supers or contractors who don't handle email and online items well, so it is more simple to integrate them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore prevents a lot of the problems construction companies experience with keeping everyone on the same page and drawings up to date. My team is able to coordinate all facets of the project directly with me in real time and keeps trades apprised of the changes to scope.
