Procore has provided a one stop shop for several project management tools.
What do you like best about the product?
Procore is intuitive as far as tracking down where tools are. It's also nice to have so many tools in one place. The customer service and resources are easy to use and has an abundance of information. They are constantly accepting feedback to try and improve based on what users actually want.
What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of notifications people receive can cause them to start ignoring items that come through, or they start shifting to a junk/other email folder. Unless you're in Procore almost every day, and watching for your open items, it can be difficult to know when something has been recieved or if an item is waiting on a response from you.
Other than that, most things I don't like are associated with the current limitations of specific tools. i.e. a workflow in PCOs, or assigning submittals to a company in lieu of a specific person.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to create custom reports specific to different projects and owners is extremely helpful. Especially when 99% of the information reported on is in a single location.

The best construction software for projects start to finish
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to manage a project from bidding to closeout. There is a tool or integration for every aspect of the project lifecycle, with new items being developed continuously. The support is excellent and your customer success manager has the best insight on how your company would like to use Procore.
I also love that Procore can be accessed from anywhere, any time. We have team members that work remotely all over the country, but we can connect on Procore items no matter where we are.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, I don't feel comprised of changes or options to tools/within tools. Some of these settings are discovered by accident.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consistency and organization. It helps us in knowing where issues are occurring with our business processes. I like that Procore is extremely customizable to how your company needs it to work. I don't think two companies apply every tool in the same way. Very agile software that is accessible from anywhere.
Best database system for contacts
What do you like best about the product?
For preconstruction, we rely heavily on having up-to-date contact info for our vendors. Procore allows everyone in the company to access the database from anywhere at any time, and there are enough data points to make it easy to filter down to the companies we need for a particular application.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful to have more customizable data fields. We found a work-around by creating test projects with pre-sorted vendors but it would be better if we could just add fields directly to the database
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've worked for many construction companies in the past and they all had multiple vendor lists and databases. It was confusing and wasted a lot of time. Procore helps to centralize data because everyone in the company uses it in the same consistent manner.
Is Procore worth it? Short answer, yes.
What do you like best about the product?
A lot of Project Management can be accomplished with just Procore. For the most part, it is pretty user-friendly. Support is readily available when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Constantly changing and rolling out new features. Depending on how you look at it, that's both a Pro and a Con. Good Training is available on the Tools, but not enough samples on how to use them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlined processes (ex; DocuSign feature enabled). Consistent use and access of information. Expanded reporting abilities.
Great PM software solution
What do you like best about the product?
The main advantage of Procore is having all project data in one location. Not having to switch from a PM management software suite to another application to view plans and mark up RFIs is a huge time saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
Procore isn't cheap. It's certainly more money than many of its competitors in the marketplace. However, this is justifiable once you consider how many various software solutions can be consolidated into what Procore offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By having all of the top-to-bottom PM suites under one roof, it becomes easier to share information, track, changes, and communicate cost implications with our company's financial management software.
I love using procore. What an upgrade from prolog!
What do you like best about the product?
Helpful to track and share documents in one place. I love the electronic slip sheeting. You can confidently work off a current set of plans and easily view older versions to reference changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The bidding process in procore isn't the greatest. Bidding contacts change so frequently it makes it difficult that only someone with company level permissions can update. The document transfer seems to be lost by most subcontractors through the procore bidding process. We end up sending out separate dropbox links with plans/docs, which is double the effort and inefficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me track change orders and manage our budget while keeping a clear record that can easily be found without having to create and pull a report.
It´s incredible how the platform has solved so many communication and distribution issues
What do you like best about the product?
Having all the information in just one place, personalized reports, distribution, unlimited storage and user capacity makes the best platform compared to the competition.
What do you dislike about the product?
We would like to have better integration with financial aspects, our company works all its financial information through SAP, and Procore doesn't have a direct integration; also, the platform doesn't have an inventory tool for materials, so based on project administration tool the material inventory has cause significant issues and right now is not possible to control it with a dedicated tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Information distribution, storage capacity, safe and backed-up information, communication, and simplifying project tasks like safety and quality control have the reports of the needed information filtered to just what is required.
Procore Advancements
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part of Procore is being able to go to one program and be able to run the job from it. From manpower to drawings and then to budgets, you can get answers in one place. This cuts down on time and is more productive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some times there are too many options and no way to turn them off for a job specific task. For example I may have one foreman who can track everything in the daily log but on another job I may need to slim down the daily log so that another foreman doesnt just skip over sections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore is being used to facilitate budgets, POs and procurement of material in one place. This along with manpower logs and timesheets I am able to watch over the jobs from a distance.
Procore is not just for contractors
What do you like best about the product?
Drawing management tools, submittals and inspections.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of flexibility to customize the existing tools for our internal processes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drawing management was a nightmare before Procore. It has also help us with keeping track of our internal submittal review process as well as commissioning using the inspections tools
