The biggest step in Project Management to date

What do you like best about the product?
The accessibility and availability of the most up-to-date documents project-wide, from anywhere. Real-time updates on changes, RFI's, drawings and correspondence are all in one, easy to use program / app.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration of change management into existing ERP systems is a little rocky at first. After working with Procore's tech support, the issues were resolved and we have had little issue since. There is always a starting inertia when it comes to interfacing systems, and Procore's tech support was amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The specific and only issue we have had was synchronizing our cost codes in our estimating software with those uploaded to Procore, for change management. We are working with Procore's tech support to resolve the discrepancies.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part of Procore is the templates when setting up jobs. We also have document templates that transfer to each project we set up. This is very helpful to make sure nothing is left out.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how you have to download and re-upload documents when you are done editing them in Procore. It would be simpler if you could edit them without downloading them out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore is helping us solve the problem of tracking RFI and Submittal details, dates, and times. This is making our company way more productive because it tracks who did it, when they did it, etc.

Worth the investment

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to quickly upload documents and specifications for all subs to see.

The submittal process flow saved us 1 hour plus per submittal over our previous spreadsheet/transmittal/email method for just the input. When you add up the total process time, we calculated a 3 hour savings on average
What do you dislike about the product?
Just understanding which modules you need and which ones you do not at first. While there is quite a bit of customization provided, it would be nice to give the end user even more customization for forms rather than having to go through the Procore experts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Missed change order or back charge opportunities/tracking

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about procore is that it keeps all information in a central place and gives users the ability to handle everything from any location. I have used other products and have needed to have different programs for document management, scheduling, reporting, budgets, etc. Procore keeps it all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The scheduling tool needs some work. It would be great if Procore could partner with a company to get that Tool fully functioning without the need for MS Projects or a similar program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore is solving issues with document distribution as well as organization within our company. This allows team members to spend more time on mitigating risk and handling issues that may arise.

What do you like best about the product?
1. The streamlined submittal management
2. Customized Reports and dashboards that can connect all levels of the project together.
3. Access Management for everyone inside and outside
4. Document management
5. Timesheets is easy to use
6. Drawings that enable mark-up and quick sharing and revision management
7. Punchlist for site and office staff
8. Meeting generation
9. Email notification

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Sometimes, the daily log is slow
2. Sometimes, the emails can't reach all of the notified users, greatly improved over the years.
3. No map or geographic display in the feature for projects like railway projects
4. The specification is not straightforward for a multi discipline, multi scope projects, hope it can be improved like the drawings tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Making it transparent in the process, taking all stakeholders involved in a unified workflow
2. Making the documentation easier and more efficient
3. Effectively connect site operation with design and office
4. Layered access management for documents making access management easier, and now the access templates can be tracked for change history
5. Reduce the lead time of the workflow
6. Notification makes items hard to forget
7. Cutting red tapes and removing barriers for the entire organization, especially for big scale projects with many statekholders and employees.

Clunky to use

What do you like best about the product?
The submittal page seems to work's okay.
What do you dislike about the product?
Clunky to use, information is not consolidated on a screen or two. Lots of white spaces. Also, no way to track items ordered. ERP does not update Viewpiont/Vista's PO is the PO changes. One shot only.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can set up a link to my material tracking log on the home page. However, not everyone at my company has access to the home page because they use the drive. We have to set up a second link under documents/commitments page so our receiving department can access the link.

Excellent interface and easy to get trades involved

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful element of ProCore is its easy-to-understand interface. The Deficiency/Punch List tool is by far the easiest way to keep building deficiencies catalogued and inform trades/subcontractors of items in their court.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I like the small differences in usability between the web and app versions. However, this inconsistency rates far lower than everything I love about the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ProCore is helping us to solve issues around paper trails, deficiency items, commitment/contract management, and ease of accessibility for drawings and prints.

What do you like best about the product?
Procore is organized in a file management structure. So if you know what that is and work within that mindset then you will be good.

Compared to others, it does a great job.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult for certain team members to figure it out. So it is great if everyone is on the same page but not so great if people have computer problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It connets myself and the other team members in the field. Nothing could do what procore does. it makes one more productive by going to once place to do it. which helps.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the centralized software for all types of project management from Financial to safety.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the limitations Procore has with Ryvit. A dual flow for syncing would be great, but Ryvit can only sync one way for certain financial items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None that I can think of.
